Love the quality of all these cameras it’s a tuff one
What's up Ricky! I started watching this a while back and wanted to finish it to comment. I was looking at the X-S20 and was reminded I didn't finish this video. Fuji standard profiles are much better than Sony in my opinion. We're getting ready to head out on our cruise. Looks like it's going to be wet for the first 3-4 days of the 7-day but I was able to upgrade from an interior to a suite due to someone cancelling so I"m excited about that. First time in a suite on a cruise ship!
Thanks for watching. Be safe and have fun on your cruise. I love the X-S20 and nostalgic neg film sim. Yeah I was actually kinda surprised at how dull Sony's standard profile is in comparison.
01:06 perfect
Are you speaking of how the X-H2s was struggling with focus?
Dynamic range and nice colors mean nothing if you have hunting and distractions like that. They really have to fix this. I could've been like oh see there isn't an issue and posted a different section in these clips where it didn't lose me and do the hunting dance in the background but, that doesn't help anyone. The S5iix is not as good as the Sony but it's really good and pretty close.
@@TwoTimesRmedia Yep , I was talking about the hunting :D
@@TwoTimesRmedia with fw 1/2 that's not happening in easy shots. It still hunts sometimes but not for no reason.
@@edvard2942 yeah, it was struggling.
Good job, I like this
Thanks bro more to come
@@TwoTimesRmedia you’re more than welcome
Interesting comparison. I shoot Fujifilm and use Astia for wildlife and landscapes. For people I prefer Nostalgic Neg. I tend to go for what I think looks best for the image rather than realistic colour. But I’m not a professional so colour accuracy is not important to me.
Yeah I understand. I love the way nostalgic negative compliments my skin tone. I'm not necessarily looking for color accuracy per se just want the nicest looking image straight out of camera.
Great comparison, thank you sir! I haven't commented in a while but I'm still here. Wanna do a comparison in August when Reala Ace hits? Wondering if that's going to become a 'standard' look.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I definitely will be comparing these three in a lot more ways. Can't wait to see how Reala Ace compares.
Sony looks the worst. Fuji and Panasonic both look good. I would say the Fuji is best by a whisker.
I agree .
The fuji has the best dynamic range in the sky. The other 2 are clipping. The lumix video is so sharp tho
The beauty of a film simulation over a picture profile . I actually want to play with a real time lut and try to see if I can get a nice look without the clipping.
I think they all looked good, but the contrast of the Panasonic was my favorite. Can’t believe I don’t shoot in the standard profile. 😅
I'm pleased with this image
None of them are great here. Fuji is too magenta and cold (a better WB choice might help here), Panasonic is too saturated and contrasty and Sony is like a bad Eterna. If I had to choose I'd go with Sony and yes I shoot Fuji, 2x XH2S's hehe.
I tend to agree with this, at first glance the Panasonic is the 'best' looking but as I examined it it was more that it had extra contrast and a bit more color saturation. Either will do very well as a baseline, it's a matter of preference but I tend to prefer more neutral starting points which is where Fuji is a bit better. The Sony is...not great.
I'd be super curious how Reala Ace will compare.
I'm no colorist or anything. I just really want my skin tones to look pleasing and not sickly lol . One day I'll learn color accuracy. Though the Panasonic was much more contrasty the greens and the post color behind me looked closer to how they actually look.
@@TwoTimesRmedia I'm not sure Fuji is known for colour accuracy, and when I have colour calibrated their cameras they seem to be the less accurate. What they do well is pleasing stylized colours, but with that comes a bit of pressure to get things like WB right and make the colour palette really sing. These styles usually compliment the skin tones (though not always). Sony is doing much better these days, shrugging off poor skin tone stigma they once had.
@@SummersSnaps yeah although the Sony may be the worse looking in this side by side. I cannot say it's bad at all. Side by sides will always show one more eye catching and appealing. Contrast and vibrancy pull our eyes in. I don't really want accuracy, I want pleasing to the eye . Easy to record and put out without too much tweaking . I have very little time for content creation these days so editing needs to be quick and painless.
panasonic is the best
I can't say I disagree. I love Fuji colors but I'm impressed at the Panasonic.
@@TwoTimesRmedia I shoot more photos than videos but I really love the SOOC colors using the standard profile and setting WB to 7900K. Have tried a ton of cameras and love the look of the panasonic
