I like that song and first heard it sung by Chad and Jeremy. I discovered them in the 1980's and they were from the 60's. Glad you are enjoying the selections.
This is the only YT channel I can tolerate listening to nowadays. No commercials. And no underhanded subliminal propaganda bullcrap: just sweet wholesome dignified music as it was intended for us.

What a fantastic choice of great: orhestras, vocalists, and songs !!! Makes me want to go dancing ! Thanks for these great musical compilations ..... I think they are "SWELLl" .... HA ! (a wordfrom the 1930's vocabulary !)
Wonderful music from a very difficult time. Thank you for posting these songs and tunes. It is good to let this music live on so that us younger ones know how popular music evolved, especially in the dancing years.
Another absolutely fantastic set by Pax41 Music Time Machine! I particularely liked track 2 by Jacques Renard and His Orchestra with a vocal refrain by Chester Gaylord. He did quite a few vocal tracks at the time and think this was one of his best. Many thanks for posting. Joe Cro
Thanks very much, Pax41. You've shown good balance here. These are American bands. But in other places you've covered British dance bands. All good, so thanks again.
This was popular for awhile after I first posted it and then it slowed down. I never have been able to quite figure out the secret to what people like to hear repeatedly.
What a great selection !! Every one a winner. Great images too. I especially like tracks 7: 2: and 10. Many thanks for sharing these gems. Much appreciated, as always.

I'd Like To Watch A Tracklist Of Russian And East Europe Songs, Like '' Petrushka'' , '' Song Of The Flame '' , '' Song Of The Vagabonds '' , '' The Riff Song'' , '' Katinka '' And More . And Will Be Wonderful One Compilated From Bob Haring's Numbers , Really He Made A Hundred Recordings Like Ben Selvin, Many Of Them Unknown
Paul Whiteman's orchestra and Isham Jones would be the two exceptions to that statement in my opinion. The funny thing is that the big British bands of the period were all led by Americans. Carroll Gibbons, Roy Fox, Jay Wilbur and Starita where all Americans that lived in the UK at that time.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing.

I think that is a good idea Ferman. It may be awhile before this project can be done as we are in the middle of moving.
Благодарю.
The last tune was very good, although it was not from the 30s
Nope, that one is from the 40's.
1931: Television is here!
You can always pick the American bands from this period, their musical arrangements are always so simplistic compared to the British bands.
You can add Bert Ambrose to that even though he was nominally both it seems. Great band too.
