I've watched this movie multiple times. I have to say this is mos def one of my faves. The fact that it's silent may seem like it's going to be a bore to most, but it warms up to ya, it really does. The story is great that actors did a superb job. There is no violence, sex, nudity. You can even let your kids watch it, all you need is the ability to read and like a little romance, the story is really sweet. The music's great. two thumbs way up from me.
Gorgeous music! I think that you have to have an imagination to appreciate/enjoy silent films. You have to kinda figure out what's going on and get pulled into the story. Not easy if you've got a short attention span.
To be honest with you this was one of the few silent movies I have watched, but I must agree. Beautiful film, by the way. It's nice to find a recent comment here haha
@@DimapeloManual Oh yeah? :) You should check some more of them out, it's really something to see how people made movies back in the day. You might like "Daughter of Dawn" which was made almost 100 years ago now. Talk about old. :o
