Tech doctor just came out with a video and says with the new firestick updates you cannot use a custom launcher. Amazon will keep on till none of us will be using a firestick!!! Let them stop you from downloading side apps and there will be no reason to own a firestick!!!
Yes! Android OS sucks! It’s not good for the Firestick. Ever update this thing gets slower!! Now they keep updating remote, and my TV can’t recognize the remote anymore. Two remote again!

Unfortunately, in a new sodtware update Amazon have blocked Launcher Manager but not Launchers. You should still be able to launch a Launcher but not override the Amazon startup.

I downloaded custom launcher and it won’t open even tried an older version, what do I do to get it working or another way to change my Home Screen? Please help
If I disable the Amazon launcher and use laid back on fire, does it still have the feature where I can search for a movie across all apps and it find it, or is this only through the Amazon interface? Would I have to go to each app and search if they have the movie I want individually ?

That is pretty much my setup. I would have never known you could get rid of all of it if they didn't simply go too far. Intentionally forcing wrong icons on me is five steps too far. I never felt the people selling me a thing didn't want me to enjoy it. Why didn't just lock it all down and not allow any apps? It's clearly what they want.

Luncher manager does not work on my os7 firestick max. Has amozon blocked all thè launchers
