Yes, Suzuki gets screwed all the time. The 2nd solution? Quit taking strike one down the middle. And don't take strike 3 that is close. Once again, if you are down 0-1 in the count, what is the Cubs batting avg and the MLB batting avg? About .140. You cannot afford to be down 0-1 unless you are good. Cubs are not good. Umps are deciding the fate of every team in the game. Watch any game played. Swanson takes strike 3 twice. Close pitches yes,. but you cannot take close pitches. I agree with your take on the challange system. It needs to be something you can see with your own eyes and then request a challange. They need to end this "check the video" crap.
The current system in triple A requires immediate decisions. If they don't challenge it right away, then they lose the ability to challenge. Of course there have been some managers that have gotten ejected for arguing whether or not the request was timely. I don't know what the solution for that is.
@@vincentwendt720 When there's a bad call, you can hear stadiums erupt and that's what the replay system was put in place for. If a call isn't something a manager would go out to argue, then it doesn't need to be challanged. Thank for the info. Hope they can iron things out.
No challenges on balls and strikes. EVER! The check swing nonsense is bad enough. You people must just want games to go back to 3 hours, with bitchfests after every single pitch. No thank you, losers.
@@tinman67tn The replay system in place is already too much. Adding ball and strike challenges is the worst idea in MLB since the Disco Demolition in Comiskey. But you all seem to be focused on ruining what used to be the #1 sport, America's pastime. Go ahead and ruin it. I will be dead by the time your cockamamie rule changes ever go into effect. Can't you just leave it alone and go watch Cockfighting, or maybe Curling instead?
Bush league umpires. Roll out the robots.
It does seem like the umpiring has been bad the last few weeks
And yes it's fair Cubs get hosed a lot why not receive some too
Going by k zone the umps have been terrible for a long time. Now there are people who think the k zone isn't always in the correct place. 90% of these people are probably umpires at some level. 🤣 I've known several umpires that umpire high school sports. They are all the type of people who don't like to admit they're wrong. That's why I always say, umpires are a different breed.
And you are even worse than the umps. If you think you can do better, go do it instead of mouthing off like a child.
Bring back Ross ,Council blows .Murphy was the genius on Milwaukee not Council also fire Jed what a worthless pie c e of crap for the last 4 yrs.
