Cartagena is really beautiful! Their park is like a safari park! I love their high quality and affordable food! I also like that your introduction makes the content richer! Thank you for sharing your experience in Cartagena, well done! 👍😍👏
Oh my gosh I’m absolutely obsessed with sloths and I could not believe you found those sweet creatures right in the trees above you! Loved all the unique doors and knockers with the history as well. Really enjoyed this😍💗🦥
@@NaickKim yes I did but I don’t think I saw every single video! I will DEFINITELY have to watch them all if sloths are involved! You guys are the cutest and I love your relationship 😘🥰
@@emilywynstra aw thank you, you are so sweet! Yes, there are sloths in the Costa Rica overhyped or worth it video, and lots of them too in the 'ultimate 7 day road trip across Costa Rica'. I hope we see many more in South America, haha, might adopt one and bring it back 😂😂
Great video! It's such a vibrant, colorful city. When I was there in 1976, the cocaine wars had already started, so we had to be careful. Beautiful emeralds were everywhere, I was mesmerized by them! The food looks good, and there's nothing like a cheap local beer on a hot day, no matter where you travel.
@@NaickKim It didn't look much different, really, except that there weren't as many tourists because the cocaine wars were in the news every day in the U.S. But there was so much energy in that city.
First time I’ve seen you cop a feel, Kim, lol. Another terrific update you guys! Great to see you blending in with the locals and not stick with only the tourist attractions. Oh, and I’m glad you finally found a hat, Kim - Naick’s hat, no less! Please stay safe you two! ❤
Wow! Just wow!! What an amazing country and such wonderful people. You two are really breaking stereotypes down there. All I have ever heard is what a dangerous place South America is. Especially Columbia. You two have shown us a country rich in culture and amazing people. How cool for that young man to take you through the park to see all that wildlife you many have ever seen. Hats off to you for tipping him too! I just love watching your adventures and really miss you when you aren't around!😂 Can't wait for the next video and amazing adventure!! Enjoy every single moment! ❤ xoxo Tracy
Great music accompaniment. The only reason what you both ordered in the night market at Getsemani was obscene is that you'ld already eaten those shishkebabs and empanadas beforehand.
We visited Cartagena many years ago for a one week vacation, but unfortunately we weren't the adventuresome type at the time, so we spent most of that week at an all inclusive resort. I would definitely not do that if I had my time back. For now, I'll discover the city that I neglected to explore previously through the eyes of your camera lens and video. Hopefully, I will get another opportunity to see it one day.
Wat een prachtige video hebben jullie er weeral van gemaakt. Ik heb er van genoten. Veel plezier daar nog in Colombia. Groetjes aan jullie tweetjes vanuit Belgie. Ciao, ciao
Cartegna’s historic center really reminds me of San Miguel de Allende in Mexico…just a beautiful place with wonderful architecture, great food, sweet people and amazing doors too! 😊 Love a good market, and it was such a surprise to see wildlife living in the trees of the local city park. Glad you guys are well and enjoying Colombia! ❤
I totally agree! Cartagena really has a special vibe to it. In other countries you have to go to a national park amd hike for hours to see sloths, here they're just in the city haha
Wonderful video guys! Grew up in Barranquilla, 2 hour drive, and came to magic Cartagena with my pals to party and enjoy this Caribbean pearl. Rock on!
WONDERFUL video! So colorful both visually and culturally. I’m like your dad-I love doorways. (Thanks, Kim’s dad; because of you she posted awesome clips!). I’m a sucker for windows, too ( hint, hint 😂). Several times a saw a glimpse and instinctively thought to take a picture. Great job, guys! Looking forward to the upcoming weeks.
As a local I loved when tourist seems to have a great experience on the city, especially since some rude people want to take advantage of tourist with exorbitant prices, please watch out when going to "Boca chica" when that specially happens, they will ask you an absur amount of money for the food and the locals will surround you until you pay them, so I'd advise to avoid Boca chica if possible, down town is the best place to enjoy, I'm even surprise you guys enjoyed going to El mercado the Bazurto, that place stinks :p but hey it's really friendly and I would dare to say kinda safe for tourists, just be sure not to show your wallet or jewelry in plain sight, but the best part of Bazurto is the food and how cheap it's obviously if they notice you speaking English probably it's going to cost a little more than we locals pay :p Outside of the downtown it's a city of harships but very very friendly people, I gotta admit I feel proud of always hearing from tourist how much they enjoy the company of the locals.
I don't wanna lie i love watching your tour but they is a BIG BUT you take for ever to post another video damn u've taken like almost a month does that mean u post 1 video a month that makes 12 in a year come on guys you should keep us posted i hate waiting
Haha you are totally right. We had tax stuff to do and then Kim got sick for a week so we lost a whole bunch of time. We'll have a new video next week 👍👍
This might be the best video about Cartagena on a budget that I've seen so far. Thank you!

Adding it to the travel bucket list for sure. ✈️
You should! Glad we have convinced at least one person 🙌
My favorite city in all the world fun, people, colors, history! Has it all , I usually stay in Boca Grande for the quiet nights
Yeah bocagrande is great. We thought it might be very loud, but it was really peaceful at night.

Old buildings before 1940 were works of art, modern buildings are ugly and dehumanizing.
Colombia is known for its meat?! 🤣 Sorry. No. Certainly not anywhere in Colombia I've visited, and definitely not here in Medellin.
