He sacrificed himself for his friends. His whole world was the park and normally never left it in the show. The people who worked there were his family and friends. They were his universe. Pops was the incarnation of good, and had to fight his brother (i forgot their name) which was the very opposite. That fight always ended in the evil brother resetting the universe and everything going back to the first episode, forever. But ths time, when it happened, Rigby realized something was wrong, and they were able to go back to the fight, where before the evil brother could reset the universe again, Pops held him with a hug and went into a star, which killed both and saved the universe from that loop. The regular show universe was on a loop, that began on the first episode. the characters never aged, and nothing was different, when pops defeated his brother, the characters could finally live a normal life. One of the best series endings imo

He formed another that had his last album in 2019 ( with his members from the first band ). The albums had a story too, about a guy that likes to be with his friends and party, getting almost killed, being comatose and in the last song he's waking up with the music and sounds from the first song
