I've said it about other cars too. If the interior is nicely designed, I don't care about hard plastic. At the other end of the spectrum, you could put all the plush materials you want in an interior but if it's ugly and lacks functionality then I won't want it.
The fiesta has a nice quality interior, but the screen is horrible and the room inside just isn't practical so I highly agree with you. May be some cheap plastic but that's better than being cramped and not looking as good.
The one thing that annoys me about this car is that you don't actually get rear parking sensors as standard, even on this comfortline spec. You have to pay for the driver assistance package. Not a massive deal since you have a camera, but pretty stupid IMO....

Don't tell my 55yo sister that - she simply won't buy any car that's not a manual - which pus a lot of marques out of her purchase requirements. She was incensed when she enquired about purchasing a vehicle when she was told by a salesman "they don't make them in a manual." Her response - "They make them. You just refuse to import them!" For the record, I drive a 5 year old 6 speed manual Polo Comfortline. Best car I've ever owned bar none.

Bear in mind that most similar cars run on the cheaper 91. My Baleno needs only 4.4 L of 91 on the highway.

They could have offered it in 2 doors. ..at least in the GTI model. A sporty hatch must be a 2 door. IMO. Disappointing.
