Don’t get me wrong I enjoyed The Outer Worlds, and I’m looking forward to the dlc, but I’m REALLY looking forward to the next The Outer Worlds. This game was made on a shoe string budget and still managed to be a good game, I can only imagine how good the next game will be once Obsidian is given the same budget BGS is given for Fallout games.
Agreed! But I do feel this game benefits from being smaller in scope. I don't want them use a bigger budget to sacrifice quality for quantity. If they can maintain the level of attention to detail in this game and give us more to play, I'll be very pleased!
@roger kle i just wished there were different monsters on each planet. Got tired of seeing the same things on every planet. That's one of the reasons Andromeda pissed me off, and yes I had more reasons that Andromeda made me mad :)
I've really been liking the outer worlds it's a really cool game but, Obsidian always makes the mistake of that when you beat the game, You can't play them anymore and that sucks. So I'm waiting for the Dlc. But cool video Jv!
I love this game. Like I LOVE this game. I feel like the luke warm reception it got was a result of of it being held to expectations that it was never trying to meet. It wasn't as big as people thought it would be. Not as open and vast. It was shorter and quicker to finish. But for me the thing is... There is not fat or filler in this game. I don't think I was bored by a single mission or quest. I found all the characters and story interesting and well written. I thought the dialogue was fantastic. I loved the art direction so much that I hardly noticed that graphics were a bit dated. And let's be real... This isn't a tiny game that can be banged out in an afternoon... There is a good 30 hours you can get from it. And every hour is solid and enjoyable. I prefer enjoying every hour of a 30 hour playthrough to only enjoying 30 hours of a 100 hour game. And if it feels small it's because there isn't any vast barren open areas that offer nothing to the player other than wasting their time. This is a great game that doesn't make you dig through shit to get to the good stuff.
I can not wait for DLC to.come out. TBH I am more hyped for DLC for OW than I was Cyberpunk. Ofcourse I sucked at Witcher3 so I'll probably suck at Cyberpunk too. Lol
well i got 100 negative tinhy with spacers and when i entered the edgewater they started shooting me i cleanned the town thats when i found out we had gold guns cause i killed constable reyes lol
Haha it's a tough decision! Although your time in The Outer Worlds will be much shorter, it's worth it in my opinion. One of my very favorite games of last year :)
Lol i made orson buy his own schematics back. Screw you gladys all the cool weapons are mine ^^ I had a really good time with this game, only complaint is i wish there was more to play. And maybe more with ada because she was fucking hilarious.
pshhh i ALWAYS wipe out edgewater lol, i hate reed so much and hate the people there "we deserve to be sick and die because we didn't work hard enough for our corporate overlords, we got sick and got the plague because we didn't work hard enough at our factory job canning tuna REEEE" lol it's soooo crazy such a wild dystopian place i always put them out of their misery =P the botanical garden is the way to go lol
This game isnt worth looking in the corners lol Also you can get all science guns through the quest and no other weapon is even worth bothering about lol And even the science weapons suck and or become useless once you cant upgrade them anymore since it becomes way to expensive to tinker your weapons

I think both the dlcs were really good. Peril on gorgon told a neat story and murder on eridanos was just cool.
I really hope they bring back the exact same team for The Outer worlds 2. A bigger budget isn't the #1 reason to make a great game. It's a great team.

Borderlands literally has bazillions of them.
