    Seems like our preparations for this blast payed off well, this is what I dream of every time I hear the thunderous sound of a blast going off!!🤩

    That material scoops up easily !! How often does the rock face break up into small material like this ? Why the blast makes small pieces compared to the BIG material, maybe has to do with the rock formation ?? Like your comments while loading, hold the comments a few seconds longer to read rather having to stop and go back. Bernard , like the view from the cab, it is what I would expect as if I were operating ! Your drivers are really in tuned with what you are doing, cleaning parking area, where you want them to park, when you are ready to load etc. It is called TEAM WORK!! Followed this video to the end, making comments as I watched.

      Hey Arza!🙋‍♂️ Materials like this is just as dream to work with, it is in this kind of piles we really get to show what the machines can produce!🤩 But as always, blasts like this are gone “in a second”.. I have been accused to be lousy when it comes to saving piles like this by the blasters..😂😂 Spins through the fine ones, just to find something to spend more time with next..🤪😅
      Well, there are several reasons for variations in the quality of the blasts.
      Height of the cut has a lot to say, since deeper holes gives more room for explosives, and because the upper 2 meters tends to break up in boulders..😝😄 Access for drilling and drill pattern is up next, as there isn’t always that easy to reach every selected point for a hole every time. Just a little deviation from the target pattern, and there are several holes that gets too far distance between them! We want the explosives to have the same amount of volume between them, for a even and nice blast!😋
      Talking about deviations, there also might be cracks in the rock, steering the drill head out of course, also resulting to a bad pattern..
      The rock itself do hold various density and strength, some breaks easily, some don’t.. 🤪
      Last but not least, the ignition pattern for the rows of holes, makes a huge difference! Every row is ignited with milliseconds between them, some blasters are awesome with their knowledge, others still has something to learn!😅

    Would the old 5 tooth bucket be better in this material?

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 года назад +3

      Hi Paul!🙋‍♂️ Yes, I think the old setup with 5 teeth would have been even more efficient in this kind of material!🤩
      I just loose too much material between these 4 teeth, at the same time as every rock larger than powder seems to just jam between the teeth as the bucket are designed now.😝😅
      I have been missing my fifth tooth for a while now, this pile made that feeling even stronger..🤪
      If I can choose, I want a bucket with standard sides with changeable wear steel, and a slightly wider mid section of the knife with room for 3 teeth instead of 2!🤩
      This knife is a bit more “pointy”, as the middle teeth are stretched 15 centimeters forward compared to the original setup! The old setup made the bucket too flat because of the width, the delta front were adjusted from 10 centimeters to 25 centimeters as it is now!
      With 5 teeth, I would load the 772’s in 4 passes again, and kick my production up drastically!😅🤙

    • @norwegianearthmovers
      @norwegianearthmovers  3 года назад +2

      Nei, det gjør vi ikke..😅 Jeg holder meg oftest innom +/- 10 cm, og det får vel være godt nok?🤪
      Neida, jeg gjør så godt jeg kan fra pallen, men bare for at truckene skal ha god såle å kjøre på!😄 Ujevn såle betyr at de vil søle mys stein i vagging og hopping, og resultere i at jeg må laste små lass..😝 Jeg er ikke noe fan av små lass, så da investerer jeg litt tid i god såle så vi kan kjøre fulle lass, og samtidig øke levetiden på dekk, understell og sjåfører!😂
      Når jeg er ferdig lastet, vendes hele sålen ved at en graver serverer stein fra klinken som en doser! All klink måles inn for dokumentasjon av under boring, og all stein over maks størrelsen tas ut for et perfekt resultat!😍
      Da blir det fylling hele veien, og en strøken plate, servert av våre eminente doser førere!👌🤙
      Ps. Hvis jeg vil, kan jeg planere stein med noen få cm avvik, men da må jeg stå nede så jeg dår beltet over hva jeg har planert før noen hjul kjøretøy får rullet over.😉 Hva som er slett før noen kjører der er ikke det etter de har fart over, om ikke steinen er beltet ned hard og jevn! Er akkurat den vektingen som gir dosere fortrinn når det kommer til å legge ut strøkne flater!🤙

    • @sindrerabben5212
      @sindrerabben5212 3 года назад +1

      Litt samme prosedyre som vi også har da. Har som oftes 1 mtr underboring, så da er d den meteren å vende på etter utlasting. Så kommer d an på hva flaten skal brukes til etterpå, er d mye grøfter eller fundamenter som skal graves ned så tar vi d i en og samme operasjon.
