Hmm it needs a half wall between the kitchen and living room to deflect sound a little. When someone is in the kitchen closing the refrigerator door or cooking etc, it starts to drown out the TV, which then makes you have to turn up the TV really loud. Love the casita option, I put a pool in my backyard and if I could do it all over again I'd do a cocktail pool and a casita. Lot size on that house is very nice including decent spacing between you and your next door neighbor. Too many homes, including multi million dollar homes are built right on top of each other. I also wish the block walls were higher, min of 8 ft instead of 6 ft. By the time you finish your backyard, it'll be raised by 2 ft after all the material is brought in and you'll be able to see over your block wall and into your neighbors yard or house. It would also be nice if home builders offered more screened in porch options because you're going to want to hang out on your patio if you live in the southwest. Not a fan of the stop up, step down showers, not even sure how those are legal.

I like it.
1 million with no large kitchen drawers, master bathroom tub or makeup vanity area….No thank you!
