If you liked the electric guitar and kind of classical mix, I highly recommend Die Mittsommernacht-Fantasie also from Genshin, I think you'd like it a lot!
the opera makes me ascend to another realm man, so fucking good. shes singing her sorrows out with electric guitar in the background, so fucking sick. one of my favorite boss themes in genshin.
There is currently 749 tracks of original in-game music in Genshin Impact, spanning 15+ officially released albums, most of which are over 1 hour in length, all composed by their in-house studio HoYoMix and lead composer Yu-Peng Chen. I would highly recommend you listen to more of this game's music - especially the battle and boss themes, as they are certified bangers.
I already love your Arknights reaction, but I want more Genshin Impact because this music slaps. I would request Scaramouche boss theme or Raiden Shougun battle theme.
There are 4 songs in specific I HIGHLY suggest you should check out if you want to get a great grasp on the diversity of the music this game has. - Azdaha’s Theme is a boss battle song that focuses on Chinese style of music while mixing in rock and EDM. - Scaramouches Theme involves Japanese style of writing but also has multiple cultural influences to it like Latin as well. - ‘Duel in the Mist’ is a Japanese world battle song that involves A LOT of rhythm, especially drumming. - ‘Swirls of Shamshir’ is another world battle song based on Middle Eastern + North African music.
Yeah, Genshin Impact has really, really crazy good music. This has remained my personal favorite in the game ever since the boss battle first popped, but there are some really worthy contenders.
When I used to play Genshin, the thing that stood out the most to me was the music, especially the way they dynamically changed to suit what situation or location I found myself in.
Dude, so true I have a friend who hates genshin gameplay, gacha system and story but when it comes to music, telling from his words:"I don't give a heck, if it has good music - it will earn my respect at least at that" He literally listens to some locations ost while working at the computer lel
@devolays that's the thing, the story can be goos sometimes like the sumeru one ( not the dessert part, didn't like it ) or Inazuma story but the thing is devs put a lot of unnecessary dialogs and things that if deleted - won't change the story much. For example, Yoimiya quest in Inazuma, I mean I get help her so we can distract guards with fireworks but why we're forced to do a her own story quest, we have different type quest for her. Also, sometimes it's too boring to read because the dialogs keeps going on and it would be OK it was worth listening but most of the time it's like this: 1) Someone is talking about story 2) Paimon asks stupid questions so characters can explain it to her = to players
Yay that's my favourite ! The vocals are so impressive, I'm not fan of opera or anything but I would definitely become one if I knew more songs like this one ! Thanks for your enjoyable reaction !
@@Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp I don't really think so. They have really amazing lore, and good story. The gameplay loop is really boring, there is no endgame at all, and devs themselves are focused on making minigames every event. At this point I'd say that Genshin is rather a huge pot of minigames disguised as a game.
Her backstory is heart breaking😢 Before becoming La Signora, she was Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, a young woman from Mondstadt (The starting area of the game.) Around 500 years ago she fell in love with a knight. While she was studying in the Sumeru Akademiya Rostam (the knight) died in a war agains monsters. As Rosalyne comes home to Mondstadt after a long time away, she finds out about the fate of Rostam, leading to her insanity. After mourning, she decided to use “her life’s flame” to cleanse “the world’s crookedness,” becoming the Crimson Witch of Flame. She let liquid fire consume her, abandoning her mortal body. She only ever used her liquid fire to burn monsters and demons, but it gave her infamy amongst people and they started to fear her as the Crimson Witch of Flames.
Another song with a great electric guitar from Genshin is Thundering Of The Merciless and if you want to hear a shamisen that sounds like an electric guitar then you'll love Bane Of Ambitions

Well... tbh it's better to experience it in-game cause context matters. Like, the moment in the story when you hear it, the circumstances around this particular piece... But yeah it'd require quite a lot of time to get to this point. I do recommend trying out the game itself though. There's around 700 pieces of music rn, and the majority are nothing less than masterpieces. You'd never experience them all just by reacting. But in the end it's up to you - if open world action rpgs are not your genre, it can't be helped.
Its less the action rpg thing and more the gacha thing. I've also never touched Arknights nor plan to. I've had very bad experiences with these styles of games since i have addictive tendencies and it can ruin me psychologically and financially. I respect the music made for them, but I gather plenty of context anyway. Especially when it's well composed and you can feel the intent through the music alone like this one. Its like going to an orchestral performance. No visuals required, just emotion through sound.
@@CatharsisYT that's 100% valid. most of my enjoyment from genshin does come from the gacha but ive only spent once and never again. even if you can't play genshin, the music is amazing and the lore is too so im sure you can still enjoy those!!

That's the sort of thing i feel when listening. Music that can create that context passively is a part of why certain songs hit well with me. It may not be precise context, but if the composition can offer that context without spelling it out, it's even more impressive to me. Certain things like that marching rhythm or key changes are very much "show, don't tell" for musicians and speaks volumes to their skill and intent
