I like those black neons because they are beautiful and interesting. Also they are not expensive and perfect little fish for learning. White Cloud minnows are also my favorites.
Your white clouds put every other ones I've looked at to shame. Yours are so vibrant and the yellow fins really set them off. Gorgeous, gorgeous! New tanks and new fish, yes please. Species spotlights...plants or fish, yes please. 👍💕👍
I have to say that one of the things I appreciate most about your videos is that you don't do those annoying, waste of time, "fancy" intros and outros. I love that you just say hello and then get right into your topics! I'm looking forward to seeing what you have for sale. I'm looking for some small, but not nano, schooling fish for a couple of my tanks...
I'm a Floridian so a new tank for the cute lil flagfish would be awesome to see. There are many great plants in the southeast as well. I love watching your videos, sooo much knowledge. Thank You.
I once had a thirty gallon tank that I put a small Horseface Loach in that I never saw again until I broke the tank down. I found him buried in the gravel and he was at least four times bigger. I had just assumed he died or was eaten. I love how the fish room is coming along. So many beautiful tanks and fish. Always enjoy your videos and appreciate you sharing all your knowledge.
To say the least, I'm very impressed! Your fish look great, your white clouds are amazing in color! Loving the way things are looking. Thanks Rachel...
Love the Florida Flag fish. I tried breeding just one pair in my outdoor tub a couple years ago with no success. But their coloration and spangle was drop dead gorgeous when I retrieved them in the fall. Great fish! A species only tank would be great to see.
I loved seeing the results! I love seeing the trigonostigma espei's! That pop of orange is gorgeous. The Leary White Clouds are stunning. Makes me want to add a new tank!!!!
Yes to the purple oil cat display tank!!! I love seeing those fish. I totally understand how you can not know you have Kuhli loaches. I was sure all mine had died and yesterday I saw 3! They are elusive. Your white clouds are gorgeous. I love that fish. I have them outside in my summer tub.
I adore the white clouds. Im getting ready to set up a 29 with these and some blue tiger shrimp, with a few bamboo shrimp. Im sooo excited! Finding accurate shrimp info is very difficult so thank you!
Those Fl flag fish are so cute! Wow the difference in the white clouds are amazing! I love my regular white clouds but those are really pretty! And corys! 😁so cute! It was nice to see you on Saturday. The bio orb was really gorgeous ! When I got home my legs were dead from walking around there all day. I don’t know how you made it in those boots lol.
Wow it’s crazy to see the regular white clouds vs yours! I have poor quality gold white clouds. I got them super cheap back when I was starting my first tank so I’m a little attached to them. Even breeding outside this summer they still develop a lot of dark scales. I didn’t end up with many though because of water nymphs, for better or for worse....
Hey Rachel! I just want to thank you for producing such top quality videos and that I've learned so much from you and your channel. P.S. When you smile it makes me smile!
Love your fish room ,your such a pro .Looking forward to purchasing some of your beautiful fish . I enjoy watching all your videos. Take care and thank you.
Love the update! I grow both HG and MC on a window sill just in a basic propagator (tray with a lid)... if left it works its way outside the lids but they help reduce watering. I would guess you don't need to do anything to yours. I do find the MC in particular melts when you first plant it and looks a bit sad, but then goes crazy so I expect if you ignore it that it will soon look awesome... just like your underwater plants :)
Your tank stock looks amazing! The Florida flagfish deserve their own tank and they are very personable once settled in, everything looks fantastic as always, also great video!
It took maybe 6 weeks for that white fuzz to disappear from my mansanita. I kept wanting to try to remove it myself, but I had so much moss and stuff on the wood I was afraid of screwing it all up. Fortunately it did finally go away! lol Your line of mountain minnows are soooo pretty.
my very first fish in my own tank were zebra danios and florida flags ... loved them both and soon went to two tanks :D they deserve their own show tank my thoughts from the UK
I vote for a flag fish habitat tank, and a series of videos on the CPD breeding project, they're a lovely fish. 😊 Your line-bred White Clouds are beautiful. It must be so satisfying to have your time and patience rewarded with such a gorgeous line. 😊
Yes, yes, try then outdoors 1 more time and yes. Ok I think that covers all your questions. Love all the different topics you cover. New fishroom set up looks so amazing!
I love those white clouds! When my health improves and I'm able to set up my tanks again I'm doing a dedicated wc tank for sure, it's a shame I'm on the wrong side of the atlantic to get any of your special guys.
I miss having a massive swarm of white clouds in my 130 gallon fully planted tank. Flag fish are aggressive with anything smaller than themselves but they do make really good single species tank.
Oddly enough, I was looking at a 20L this week at Pet Co. ! I may have to steal that idea for the flag fish. I was gonna do Shell Dwellers, but as a floridian, those Flag Fish have enourmous appeal to me! Can't wait to see how they grow!
Things are looking great! Love the white clouds - I have the long fin variety myself. I wouldn't mind adding some Flag fish to their tank. So many goodies as usual!
Every time you post one of these update - tank tours, all I can say to myself as I sit here watching is..." but wait...there's more!" Tank after tank of pure goodness! I think you should just build ALL the tanks - flag fish, CPDs and of course the much beloved purple oil cats :) By the way, I was wondering what the clump of plants is behind the least killifish at about 12:30 into the video? I love how it looks with all the roots - and need to hunt some down. Great update!
Jordanella Floridae is definitely one of the best fish out there for tub season. Mine flourished outdoors in a planted tub. They are so well adapted for life in a tub I really suggest something bigger than a 20gallon for a large colony. Your going to have a couple males try to become dominant, and they really need room to establish territories, or they may fight to the death once they start getting into breeding mode
I had a Flag Fish years ago when I was very inexperienced. I tried putting him in my 10 gallon community aquarium. He was very territorial and wreaked havoc. He was beautiful though. I rarely ever see them for sale.
honestly, Rachel this really makes me nostalgic for my planted tanks i used to run when i was married. thanks for these videos! I really want to see a polyepterus tank tho!
Please try breeding the barred pencilfish! I have been trying to breed mine with no success as they are picky when choosing partners. I'd love to see if you can breed them.
For the penjeng (if I spelled that right) I would think (with 0 experience) that simply keeping an eye on them and if you see any unhealthy signs (yellowing of leaves, die back etc.) then just add a light dose of liquid fertilizer and monitor the change... I really don't think thare could be much else to it, except maybe some trimming later on.
with the plants on the rock, i wonder if some water with a little bit of excel in a spray bottle would help?? idk, i'd try it if the plants aren't doing well, but they seem to be doing alright. and your longfin white clouds look so vibrant!
Wow - lots of cool updates!! I would love to see more about the new Florida spot fish, I like the idea of the plant spotlight, and I would love to see a display tank for the purple oil cats! I’ve been hearing so much about the cpd’s on various RUclips channels, and I’m looking to get a few to see what they are like. So I think doing a cpd breeding tank would be awesome!
The flowing water stone display might benefit from an enclosure trapping some extra humidity. I have a 20 gallon shrimp tank with a big miniMatten, ( yeah I know, Jumbo Shrimp..) that has become the media for all of my Monte Carlo's heavy growth, It's sending up big mounds of aerial leaves but the tank has a full plexiglass cover and it's quite humid. Also, MC likes to collect mulm, it grows better when it can have a bit of detritus mixed into the roots, maybe try watering it with your other tank's mungy water.
I'm a huge sucker for white clouds every since your spotlight on them. I finally got long finned ones from The Clash and have them in a 20 long, hoping for babies! 💕
Nannostumus Marginatus are pretty tough to breed, as an analogy. I had a 15G with a colony of 8 N. Rachel everything looks fantastic oh my God you do such wonderful thing it's amazing to me that you can have no so many tanks and keep up with them even with your knee and everything oh my God you are just a miracle worker as far as I'm concerned I have a hard time with one tank LOL which I plan on changing it soon it may just end up being a terrarium I'm disabled and it's getting to be a little tough to handle a tank and it's a 55 in then I just don't want to deal with it anymore so that one fish is gone I'm thinking it's time for plants LOL anyways please take care can't wait to see what's next I mean whatever you do it's always great to watch please take care and God bless can't wait to see what's next
Purple Oil cats seem like Hara Jerdoni. you never see them except at feeding time. Mine all hung out under a heavily moss thicketed coconut shell. I love Moth Cats but not enough to not see them except after lights off.
I'm still in awe of the O. woworae, that sparkly blue is stunning. I never paid much attention to the Oryzias species before, they're mostly rather drab.
Since US native fish are so rare in the aquarium world. Maybe do a display of a biotope or a habitat of the Florida flagfish added with plants, rocks, gravel or sand and other fish that may also be living with the Florida flagfish.
Please Set up a dedicated tank for the Florida flag fish, I have 8 to 10 of them, but no babies so far. I would love to see what you for them. I'm getting on the waiting list for some of those Panda Cory's. They are so beautiful!!

Thanx for the update! Would love to know more about the processes involved when you line breed those gorgeous fish 😁 Would also be cool with a native only tank, if that is possible...

Would love a spotlight on the big plant (octopus?) you pointed out in your sand aquarium!
I would love to see a video on the pogostemon stellatus. Its of my favorite plants. Tough as nails and grows fast.
I like those black neons because they are beautiful and interesting. Also they are not expensive and perfect little fish for learning. White Cloud minnows are also my favorites.
I’d love to see a delhezi update
I wanna see you a little more
Your white clouds put every other ones I've looked at to shame. Yours are so vibrant and the yellow fins really set them off. Gorgeous, gorgeous!

👍💕👍
I just cant believe the color on those oil cats. A display would look great.

Glad to hear you're thinking on doing new species spotlights. I have missed them in your repertoar
Me too!!
I love white clouds, I started with 10 in my outside tubs, I probably brought in close to 100
I put 4 year old white clouds that had never bred for me in an outdoor pond last spring.
Now there are 1000's !
Hmm strange, mine only breed indoors and not in my tubs outside. ruclips.net/video/A5yVAoARiT0/видео.html
I'm a Floridian so a new tank for the cute lil flagfish would be awesome to see. There are many great plants in the southeast as well. I love watching your videos, sooo much knowledge. Thank You.
Yes Please! I love seeing fish and wildlife in their natural environment! Super excited to see what you come up with.

Your white clouds are gorgeous, I'm local and would love to purchase some when available!
Ive never been a fan of fish but found your channel and i am fascinated now, beautiful creatures, UK.
New tank. Maybe a us only tank? Add some least killifish, pygmy killifish, or bluefin killifish
I loved seeing the results! I love seeing the trigonostigma espei's! That pop of orange is gorgeous. The Leary White Clouds are stunning. Makes me want to add a new tank!!!!
YES ....please make a dedicated display tank for the purple oil cats....would be so awesome any not many other people do that! So cool
My CPDs used to be so shy. But now they come to the front with my sparkling gourami 😊
I'm just gonna say Yes to everything. Your minnows are beautiful. I'm a total newb and i learn so much from your channel and others like it.
i am glad it is helpful! Thanks for your support
Nano fish are looking great, especially the yellow trim white clouds. Hope to see you at the AE!
i will be there! At Aquaflora for most of it, and at Oase doing a demo sat at 11. I will not be at the youtube booth
Good morning!
Watching this with the auto-captions on and it’s hilarious ... white clouds = ‘to nick these alpha noobs’ 😂
Hahahahahaha
Love the purple oil cats, definitely need a display tank for them 😍
The white clouds are so cute! Thank you for sharing your tanks with us :)
Blue shrimp playing with an air bubble... Very cool
I adore the white clouds. Im getting ready to set up a 29 with these and some blue tiger shrimp, with a few bamboo shrimp. Im sooo excited! Finding accurate shrimp info is very difficult so thank you!

Yes. For they species spotlight on the plant.

Love your fish room ,your such a pro .Looking forward to purchasing some of your beautiful fish .
I think you'll love the Flag fish once they color up. I can attest to them being fantastic algae eaters and easy tub breeders.
Hey Rachel! I just want to thank you for producing such top quality videos and that I've learned so much from you and your channel. P.S. When you smile it makes me smile!
That was one of the nicest comments I have gotten! Thank you for making me smile!
It is so cool to see a Centromochlus catfish getting some love! They are really underappreciated, in my honest and unsolicited opinion. :)
Love your fish room ,your such a pro .Looking forward to purchasing some of your beautiful fish .
I enjoy watching all your videos. Take care and thank you.
thanks Diane!

Great video!!😊 But those orange eye blue tiger shrimp kind of gave me the chills. They look so cool but so scary!😍
Yes Rachel....would love to see how you breed/success with the Nannostomus Espei’s. Love those fish! 😄Steph

Agree on the males being aggressive. Had to return my male to the LFS as he was bullying everybody! l have 4 females in a 55 gallon. Very active fish!
honestly, Rachel this really makes me nostalgic for my planted tanks i used to run when i was married. thanks for these videos! I really want to see a polyepterus tank tho!
i have a 220g polypterus tank! :) I call it my big boy tank.I would love to upgrade them, but its going to take a LOT of planning so won't be fast.
@@RachelOLeary none of my boys were big, polyepterus palmas an then ropefish, which didn't count! But I do love me a lungfish
Me too!! They are so ugly they are cute
Happy Thursday!! Safe travels this weekend....my husband and I are going to the Pa. Renaissance Fair...have a great day ! 💗
Going to have to give summer tubbing a try - next summer. Envious of the green house
I love your white clouds!
Yes on the octopus plant
The flowing water stone display might benefit from an enclosure trapping some extra humidity. I have a 20 gallon shrimp tank with a big miniMatten, ( yeah I know, Jumbo Shrimp..) that has become the media for all of my Monte Carlo's heavy growth, It's sending up big mounds of aerial leaves but the tank has a full plexiglass cover and it's quite humid. I know this is in your tank room, but is the room itself warm and humid enough to support moss growth on otherwise exposed, damp piece of wood without water flow? Also, MC likes to collect mulm, it grows better when it can have a bit of detritus mixed into the roots, maybe try watering it with your other tank's mungy water.
I'm a huge sucker for white clouds every since your spotlight on them. I finally got long finned ones from The Clash and have them in a 20 long, hoping for babies! 💕
Summer tubbing, had me a blast
Nannostumus Marginatus are pretty tough to breed, as an analogy. I had a 15G with a colony of 8 N. Marginatus and they were always breeding but the youngsters were also always getting eaten by the foraging adults. The tanks should be thick with floating water sprite, Water Hyacinths and should have a thick hedge of established Rotala Rotundifolia. Needs a ton of thick roots/hiding areas for the slow moving and fragile fry. I'm a glutton for tetra breeding punishment. Some species will breed and have fry make an appearance despite the odds of living in a community tank.
Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your show.
Please Set up a dedicated tank for the Florida flag fish, I have 8 to 10 of them, but no babies so far. I would love to see what you for them.
I'm getting on the waiting list for some of those Panda Cory's. They are so beautiful!!
Yes purple oil cat dedicated display tank!
I'm playing catch up on a few videos here, so I'm behind and don't know if everything is inside now (?), but what I see is lookin good! Love those purple oil cats wiggling away! Mm maybe a display. God those WCs are gorgeous. Disappointed re the Blues, was looking really thinking of stocking a tank with those when you got them in! Ah well. Maybe it is not meant to be...big sigh. So, those yellows w/the stripe are gorgeous too. I think you should try some indoor breeding projects maybe. And maybe a some smaller displays, I can't remember where the 20s are. Have fun at I forgot which one, the fish show this weekend. Mine will be spent deciding on a new substrate/method to reset my RCS tank soon. Enjoy! Looking forward to seeing what develops with the Fla Flags.
There's so much to choose from. Oil cats, flag fish and I love your white clouds!
I definitely think a dedicated display tank for the oil cats is a must! I would love to see how you would design a tank for them.
I love and appreciate the updates, especially on the hillstream tank (easily my favorite tank) but maybe next time kill the lights on the other tanks so the glare isn't so bad. It made seeing all your hard work very difficult. Thanks for all the great content!
20 long habitat for the flagfish! Love me some biotopes. 😁
Now I’m just super curious about the black darter tank... really really wanted to see them, they are still my favorite fish XD
I love the flag fish! So cute!
Thanx for the update!
Would love to know more about the processes involved when you line breed those gorgeous fish 😁
Would also be cool with a native only tank, if that is possible...
What are those tabs that you have stuck to the glass? Fish look great. I have your white clouds going for a couple of years now. Have them in tubs outdoors in the summer and overwinter inside. Excellent line of fish!
The sand tank is looking great just now
i say do the 20g long but set it up as a hone aquarium with 3d printed decor that is biodegradable so over time u can change it
I just got me some Florida flag fish myself they are amazing fish. And your right your white clouds are super legit 👌💪 Great Video. Loved the update 👍
The flag fish will be gorgeous when they mature. A tank for them and some of your other native species would be great to see.
Agreed - would love to see Regional tanks of native plants and stock
great little update :)
They are great algae eaters. I have 3 females and a male. when the males color up they look amazing.
Jordanella are awesome my favorite pond fish
White clouds are my favourite fish I just started to breed fish and iv made a fish room and iv started with white clouds platys and Longfin zebra danieos I want the Longfin white clouds but they are hard to get
You could try growing some lichen on the giant rock tank thing penjing? tank. I think that would look amazing to see lichen growing all up the rock
Didn’t realize how close I was to you twice this month. I went to Hanover and Scranton.
Love your fish room.
Hanover is about 45 minutes. I am in North York
Obviously I'm gonna pick you setting up a new tank! lol
I'm gonna have to save up to buy some fish from you! Excited that you're selling again!
I’m in bed with a fever and chills. Watching the fish is so relaxing. I need a live feed of one of the tanks lol. Instead of iPanda it’ll be iRachel
Feel better!!
When I started my hobby I debated on what fish to choose; US native fish or those from the pet stores/local fish stores.
The native fish were hard to come by or not allowed to be caught.
That fuzz on the wood looks like a giant koi!
Would love to see CPD breeding series!
I want to know how your surprise goldfish are doing! Love the progress you are making ok your fish room
stay tuned! their tolerance to temps buys me some time!
