I hate it when I start listening to JB later in the evening. I end up staying up too late and not falling asleep because the music is in my head. A blessing and a curse.
I remember 14-15 years ago at the Railhead lounge in Las Vegas they had Boulder Blues on Thursdays. I saw Anthony Gomes, Walter Trout, and others, but one Thursday night they had this guy named Joe and I was blown away! Every time he came back the crowd got bigger and bigger! I've been a fan ever since!
I've listening Joe since 2010, even then time it was clear that he would go far. Every year since then, his voice has gotten better and better, as has his guitar skills. It is clear that a person works very hard and skills are given to him at the cost of incredible efforts. I sincerely wish him more health and strength. Я слушаю Джо с 2010 года, уже тогда было понятно, что он далеко пойдёт. С каждым годом с тех пор его голос становился лучше и лучше, как и мастерство игры на гитаре. Видно, что человек очень много работает и умения даются ему ценой невероятных усилий. Искренне желаю побольше здоровья и сил ему.

The DVD is made. Currently offered as gift with certain level PBS donation during PBS rebroadcasts. Joe has done this before. Will eventually be available to everyone retail. I like how they handled no audience. They showed clips of crowd applause from past venues around the world so there is no dead air between songs and it sounds like a Joe Bo concert!

Joe really knows how to put on a show! He probably won’t like this, but he looked beautifully elegant at the Ryman, And absolutely dazzling in my eyes!
Incredibly authentic blues. It definitely has a Blues Hammer vibe to it (the origin of ALL modern blues). Joe is a true blues guitar god, no one else need apply.
Pretty slick. He can play guitar. Doesn't move me. Hendrix plays Stockholm, that moves me. Johnny Winter, Santana, terry Kath, they move me. Sorry, I'm a child of the sixties, that music was the balls. Nothing from today has the same soul. Mostly I have gone back to listening to classical music and jazz, again, jazz from the great old days. Music today is just industrial. Someday there will be another Renaissance, a movement with balls and guts and creative fire. Joe is a fine player, enjoy him. I'll hope to see something truly inspiring again in my lifetime. Okay, there is victor Wooten, he has the magic. I hope to see a whole generation of musical genius again someday.
LOVE this guy's work - just incredible. I now have so much JB merch its become a little silly - I go thru the closet and have to decide which JB shirt to sport since there are over a dozen in there now! And I have 5 Blu-Rays now but hey - its the best way to see a show IMHO!! I wore the shirt from this show out the other day and got a TON of head turns!
