Weeb is just for anime. Not for anything remotely Japanese. You're not a weeb for liking Mario or No Laugh anymore than liking Seven Samurai or Miyamoto Musashis writings. That's like saying you're a Metalhead because you're a musician and metal is music.
This is a huge misconception of the word weeaboo. Weeaboo applies to anyone with an unhealthy interest in Japanese culture, not just anime. Just casually watching anime doesn't make someone a weeb, neither does a small figure collection. No. Weeaboo as an insult started because Americans wanted to mock those who are obsessed with Japan BUT have a misunderstanding of the culture due to anime influencing their perspective on it. Just because I like Japan doesn't make me a weaaboo. There's a lot of Japanese enthusiasts who have never heard or watched an anime. Sort of like a Chinese man going to Texas dressed as a cowboy with a six shooter in his cow hide pouch because of Clint Eastwood. It was an insult to those who believed anime gave an accurate portrayal of Japan. And if we want to be even more accurate it only applied to non-Asians who wanted to be Japanese because of anime.

People can put any definition they want on Urbandictionary nowadays. I was talking about the original meaning. There are people who like Japanese culture without anime and the usual shit the west finds to be a stigma. So it's kinda silly to insult those people with this term when it's something that's been done for centuries. Weaaboos as an insult was aimed at anime fans who had the wrong idea of what Japan is. The people who think Japanese schools aren't a mentally stressful journey but eating noodle sandwiches on a clean school roof at sunset. That's the whole insult. If we want to use the nebulous and general insult of ANYONE then it's just a shit term that's more racist than anything. As if Japanese culture is bad or wrong to enjoy. People are just quick on shitting on Japanese stuff because popular culture demands it. The word is twisted more and more every time someone wants to insult another. Becoming an easy catch all term for people to abuse. The original meaning is still more appropriate and useful than

This game is the exact opposite of scary if you don't know what shitty outdated reference its trying to shove down your throat every 5 seconds. Other than that the original game was much more thought out and just seemed to have good comedic timing overall.

To be honest I do not actually think this game is bad and I am 26 years old. Talking primarily about the base game, the spooky mansion part.
However, It's definitively not worth much money and there are many games that are *better.* The charm doesn't really last as long as the game itself 'lasts,' but this game does have an endearing sort of charm. I'd pay 5 USD to play it once, maybe 10 once custom levels are done. I can be pretty stingy, though.
