I remember when younger and working outside Maidenhead...there was a railway going around someone's garden and out to the road and back...However, never saw it in action...Another was at Runcorn 7" guage and about a mile long...again impressive. These miniature railway lines must take ages to do...and l admire the individual (s) who have that challenge...They are really incredible..and a marvellous way to relax...and to show others of steam..especially children. Thank you...👍👍👍👏👏👏👏

What a wonderful miniature railway despite the negative comments of others.
I had a railway for a number of years in a garden centre in Lincolnshire but not on this scale. It certainly conveys the idea of a journey which I think is an important aspect of the design of a railway.
    Congratulations to all concerned.

I believer the full length of the track is about 2 - 3 miles in real life, what that would be scaled up i am not sure. It takes about 20 minutes per full trip if you cover every inch of the track. Sometimes they have up to 4 trains running at the same time and you won't see them!

    • @jockellis
