Forts is a physics-based RTS where foes design and build custom bases, arm them to the teeth and blast their opponent's creations to rubble.
Build an armoured fort in real-time and arm it to the teeth. Collect resources, develop your tech-tree, unlock advanced weapons to target your opponent's weak points, and feel the satisfaction as their fort comes crashing down.

Really nice game against Firework, I thought you were completely dead but you came back. If the game was just a few minutes longer you would have won.

In this tournament EtaN was basically an anime protagonist.

There were two amazing sniping moments that got me laughing hard
1. Matteo kills Gruetze's core through repeatedly sniping nearby plasma lasers 2:28:40
2. The deciding match of the finals where EtaN pixel perfect snipes Noha's cannon through a tiny gap 4:05:35

When Noah managed to kill that sniper mid-launch and prevented the 3rd Nuke from firing - I love how it can be such small things that change the whole game

hey incursus, if you put two energy shields at a right angle, it will reflect incoming lasers---right back where they came from! This arrangement is called a corner cube reflector, and it has a lot of real world applications.
I like 2 minutes of testing on this like a year ago, and for whatever reason it didn’t work.
It costs way less and takes less place/reflection (no pun intended) to put a shield directly facing the laser....
But yes, it works.
I just tested it right now in sandbox, but it's a bit unstable, the laser will never be reflected in a straight line, as both your fort and the target are both perpetually tangling due to tensions here and there, plus weapons recoil (even when well built, that just Forts physics).
@@ipatchymakouli415 I feel like I have heard that lasers actually create a small force on energy shields. I might be wrong though.

id like to see 2 player matches on bigger maps like tundra for 2 players, if such exist. could be a whole tourne with big maps. would be a whole different game.

But don't give up to early, it's easy to get better in Forts. Look for some tutorial like the ones from SynergyGaming.
Or join lobbies with good players, you have seen in stream/videos... the most don't bite and help newbies, when they ask for help. Or join the discord servers, or watch replays and look what the others do in detail, or or or ... gl&hf!

Watching EtaN play is honestly so boring. He does the same thing pretty much every time and just gets away with it. Correct me if I'm wrong but did he not make an AI do exactly this same shit too? Honestly so sleeper.
Winning does not mean you lash out, sometimes you HAVE to take the safe route, you have to rely on core damage to win, because they are PRO, which mean no one is gonna go easy at anyone and every decision matters as much
@@ED_667 That's all irrelevant to what I said. Sure it's great he's always winning; but I'm still of the opinion that it's really boring to watch.
@@sethturnbull554 I know what you mean, it's the difference between playing to win no matter what and playing to win because you enjoy the game. Like comparing Mango's flashy Falco to Hungrybox's campy Puff. Also i think its tiring to see spook every match their not banned..

You have to do it by the book when it comes to pro match, sure it is boring like parking the bus in football but if you want to win then he has to do it. And because he takes no necessary risks or do fancy stuffs, he gets away with it every time with a Victory
