the moment vriska was introduced to smash, i knew i had to start playing again. to have a luck-based fighter is such a nice feature, especially with how powerful her attacks get when you get a good roll!
vriska mains suck ass, her moveset is bullshit (100% RNG). I prefer a character that requires actual skill, like problem sleuth

This only just showed up in my recommended feed. I appreciate being credited as a muse; this is very good. There are a lot of good things here, I like all of the motifs. Being based on Frakture's version which I adore, Sburban Jungle for the right-panned pulse in the bridge, the hi-hats only starting after the intro like in the actual song, and it was thrilling to hear Black where I had it in the guitar duet.
oh my god, thank you so much! when i started making the solo section i wanted to add a fitting leitmotif, like how the actual official MEGALOVANIA smash remix does it, and then my mind immediately thought back to your cover. keep up making awesome things!
A fighting game with the Homestuck cast would be so fucking peak. I'm surprised What Pumpkin Studios never capitalized on that when all the other ones were coming out (like Multiversus and All Star Brawl) or at least announced one around that time. I guess it's good they're focusing on Hiveswap (hopefully) but even talk of a new game could have probably gotten the fandom sparked up again

I don't know why GaMetal and this are like the only remixes of this song I can think of that include that awesome Vriska riff from Homestuck for the song. The Vriska stuff adds a lot of charm to the song, even if I don't care for the character.

I expected a somewhat decent remix, maybe some mid-tier mashup, but i found a pretty good remix!

If i may make a suggestion for a different remix: a mashup of the four songs from Strife!!! (Dance of Thorns, Heir Conditioning, Atomic Bonsai, and Time on My Side). Just the beta kids strife themes. Maybe a bit of stuff like Sunslammer in there as well? Idk how well it’d turn out but I believe in you lol.
i actually had this idea tbh! down to the point of naming it 'Strife!' (well more specifically thought of combining showtime, aggrieve, beatdown and sunslammer but i think the songs from the strife album has some leitmotifs from there iirc? they also sound cooler and might work better as a [new remix] mashup)
