Not really. This is a remix of the same theme as megalovania. Calling this a version of megalovania is not nearly as accurate as calling both this and megalovania remixes of dr andonuts rage. By no stretch of the imagination is homestuck in smash. Doesnt help that the same reason sakurai gives for not adding the likes of goku or iron man applies to homestuck.

For a lot of people Homestuck was the first place they heard Megalovania, for some it was the Earthbound hack and for some it was Undertale. I think all versions of the song are badass and all imply "Yeah, you're gonna have a bad time, kid."

I used to be in the Homestuck fandom during 2011-2014. It was such a wild ride, it was probably one of the very first fandoms that I felt at home with. First time I ever cosplayed was at Anime Expo as John Egbert. I was so scared because I didn't know anyone there, I also went alone. But! The Homestuck fans were so nice and friendly, I'm happy I was part of that. I hope that the new fans find just as much love and happiness in the fandom too, like I did! Like all fandoms, just be happy and don't worry if you think you're being "cringey" because... we all were cringey at some point, lmao. Take this from an older fan
Basically, for all the undertale people, this is what's happening. Jack is killing all the Derse dreamer's dream selves, then Aradia ascends to god tier and wakes up from her quest bed/cocoon, breaking the robot clone of her, fights jack and freezes him, where it then transitions to Vriska, also god tier, who kills Tavros who's trying to stop her from creating Bec Noir, also known as Jack, when he realizes she creates the paradox that makes him. Jack's the guy who was killing everyone in the first part. Or not. Homestuck's confusing, man.
So thank Undertale for making me find Homestuck. In homestuck terms, this was a very powerful moment here, Dream Ferefi and Nepeta and Tauros' deaths and the rebirth of Aradia man.

I first heard the Undertale version of this, after this I started to read Homestuck out of curiosity and I have to say, as soon as I came to this part I instantly fell in love with this version of this song. I will probably get so much hate for this but this version is 10 times better than the Undertale version. The Animation for it being one major part

Before I read homestuck, I thought this video was about an evil guy killing two innocent people and a main character transforms to a legendary butterfly thing who conjures a legendary butterfly spell. Some time later/before, in another place another girl awakens more casually into a more legendary butterfly thing, and goes to slay a bad guy minion (he's not really bad) and they were two edgelords fighting and all and until the girl kills him because she's beta sans undertale God damn

Funny thought here, in this flash Vriska went goes on to kill one of the more calm and (possibly) lovable characters in the series in one hit. Now with Undertale, we see this exact same song with a wild ass battle with one of the most lovable characters in the game, only to beat him with one hit. . .

For a lot of people Homestuck was the first place they heard Megalovania, for some it was the Earthbound hack and for some it was Undertale. I think all versions of the song are badass and all imply "Yeah, you're gonna have a bad time, kid."

I used to be in the Homestuck fandom during 2011-2014. It was such a wild ride, it was probably one of the very first fandoms that I felt at home with. First time I ever cosplayed was at Anime Expo as John Egbert. I was so scared because I didn't know anyone there, I also went alone. But! The Homestuck fans were so nice and friendly, I'm happy I was part of that. I hope that the new fans find just as much love and happiness in the fandom too, like I did! Basically, for all the undertale people, this is what's happening.
Jack is killing all the Derse dreamer's dream selves, then Aradia ascends to god tier and wakes up from her quest bed/cocoon, breaking the robot clone of her, fights jack and freezes him, where it then transitions to Vriska, also god tier, who kills Tavros who's trying to stop her from creating Bec Noir, also known as Jack, when he realizes she creates the paradox that makes him. Jack's the guy who was killing everyone in the first part. Or not. Homestuck's confusing, man.

I immediately started bawling my eyes out when i heart megalovania because I just realized homestuck may just be as good as undertale.
i have never been in the homestuck fandom before and i know very little about it, but all i have to say about this video is that it looks like something you would see in a fever dream.

also I find it funny how people are like "Undertale people are filling the comment section with sans porn and crappy shit" while I've only seen the Undertale fan base on this video say nice things about homestuck and how they should check it out. Now I'm in both fandoms so I can say this. GROW. THE HELL. UP. JEEEEEZZZ. Stop JUDGING people for something they like because a few people in the fanbase made something upsetting and got huge popularity points on it. Grow up already. Just learn to fucking respect each other. Damn.

In my opinion, Undertale fans keep ruining Homestuck just because Toby Fox worked on some of the music.
I love Undertale and Homestuck but, it's just that 1. people will over flood the comments about Undertale. and then 2. Homestucks will over flood the comments complaining about said Undertale comments. So I completely agree that people should grow up and just deal with it.
As a person who's never seen anything Homestuck, I have absolutely no clue what's going here.

Toby fox Made an hack rom of earthbound in 2009, 2 years before that thing, And then He remade song in undertale, 2015, Toby if The true owner. Everybody thinks that Pope approved homestuck song, but certainly not. Who comes first is toby.before say something, Discover truth before say it.
Funny thought here, in this flash Vriska went goes on to kill one of the more calm and (possibly) lovable characters in the series in one hit. Now with Undertale, we see this exact same song with a wild ass battle with one of the most lovable characters in the game, only to beat him with one hit. . .
This was the first thing that I ever saw about homestuck. I didn't know what was going on but it looked cool as hell. I started reading homestuck a couple of months ago and I have finally reached this part. It has been a long and very confusing journey but I am so proud of myself.
