Not really. This is a remix of the same theme as megalovania. Calling this a version of megalovania is not nearly as accurate as calling both this and megalovania remixes of dr andonuts rage. By no stretch of the imagination is homestuck in smash. Doesnt help that the same reason sakurai gives for not adding the likes of goku or iron man applies to homestuck.

This video was my introduction to home stuck and believe it or not I somehow pieced together from this that Tavros was some evil genius who owned a robot dog (bec) and Vriska was his sister. I think I was close enough.

I used to be in the Homestuck fandom during 2011-2014. It was such a wild ride, it was probably one of the very first fandoms that I felt at home with. First time I ever cosplayed was at Anime Expo as John Egbert. I was so scared because I didn't know anyone there, I also went alone. But! The Homestuck fans were so nice and friendly, I'm happy I was part of that. I hope that the new fans find just as much love and happiness in the fandom too, like I did! Vikingrush Finally someone I can relate to. Undertale may have brought me back to this, but I also came back for the feeling of nostalgia that this melody gives. For a lot of people Homestuck was the first place they heard Megalovania, for some it was the Earthbound hack and for some it was Undertale. I think all versions of the song are badass and all imply "Yeah, you're gonna have a bad time, kid."
So thank Undertale for making me find Homestuck. In homestuck terms, this was a very powerful moment here, Dream Ferefi and Nepeta and Tauros' deaths and the rebirth of Aradia man.

with the way sburb/sgrub works... aradia's dreamself was always on a bed, but aradia always being "dead" meant she never needed to be asleep. so, if all of her "living" selves died, she would automatically god tier?
Basically, for all the undertale people, this is what's happening. Jack is killing all the Derse dreamer's dream selves, then Aradia ascends to god tier and wakes up from her quest bed/cocoon, breaking the robot clone of her, fights jack and freezes him, where it then transitions to Vriska, also god tier, who kills Tavros who's trying to stop her from creating Bec Noir, also known as Jack, when he realizes she creates the paradox that makes him. Jack's the guy who was killing everyone in the first part. Or not. Homestuck's confusing, man.
I first heard the Undertale version of this, after this I started to read Homestuck out of curiosity and I have to say, as soon as I came to this part I instantly fell in love with this version of this song. I will probably get so much hate for this but this version is 10 times better than the Undertale version. The Animation for it being one major part

I used to be in the Homestuck fandom during 2011-2014. It was such a wild ride, it was probably one of the very first fandoms that I felt at home with. First time I ever cosplayed was at Anime Expo as John Egbert. I was so scared because I didn't know anyone there, I also went alone. But! The Homestuck fans were so nice and friendly, I'm happy I was part of that. I hope that the new fans find just as much love and happiness in the fandom too, like I did! For a lot of people Homestuck was the first place they heard Megalovania, for some it was the Earthbound hack and for some it was Undertale. Basically, for all the undertale people, this is what's happening.
Jack is killing all the Derse dreamer's dream selves, then Aradia ascends to god tier and wakes up from her quest bed/cocoon, breaking the robot clone of her, fights jack and freezes him, where it then transitions to Vriska, also god tier, who kills Tavros who's trying to stop her from creating Bec Noir, also known as Jack, when he realizes she creates the paradox that makes him. Jack's the guy who was killing everyone in the first part. Or not. Homestuck's confusing, man.
