I cried when she spoke about her nervous breakdown from work. I've never help a job longer than a year (and that was a small part time job). I know how hard it is to find a job where you won't have breakdowns. That was the only job I've ever had that I didnt feel panicked before coming to work. I left it to push my limits and earn more income but I'm struggling.

Autistics need support but when we are given the support we need society benefits greatly. I have never dated or been in a relationship. Its the hardest difficulty for me as an autistic.

This is an excellent video in many ways. One thing that is great is that people watching this video can see stimming behaviours among the panel members and how these behaviours are allowed and accepted. So, when I see other videos that recommend the use of ABA to stop stimming because it is described as 'stimming at any level or anywhere is bad or harmful and must be stopped or suppressed," I reply with a couple of URLs to info that is from the autistic vs the allistic perspective. I often point to this video. Lots of parents are looking for basic information to understand stimming and what they should or could do about it.

This was awesome. Watched the whole thing. I'm an uncle to a couple little guys on the spectrum, and it's really great to hear about the richness of these folks' lives and intellect as adults. This is the kind of interaction that stops ableism in its tracks.

I am so glad the segment on work was included. I am going through a similar experience to Nathalia. Also, being recently diagnosed, it's very helpful hearing all of the responses from the panelists. Thank you for sharing this video.
