For a more competitive series, you might want to do 3v3. Moreso, you could have two separate teams of 3, i.e. Lads and Gents, play through ranked, git gud, and then have a skirmish between the two teams to see who got gudder. Also a tip: Rotation is key. Rather than having one person in goal the entire time, after a person goes for a strike, have them loop around back to the goal and grab boost while the current goaltender moves forward to the ball. You should be able to have a solid stream of offensive pushes while still having people available to save goals.
I know this is just a test so obviously won’t have everything figured out. Only recommend playing ranked which goes hand in hand with playing 3v3 instead of 4v4. Love the teamwork and competitiveness that comes with Rocket league though... potential for a great series 💪🏽
Rocket League is great to watch, especially when everyone is taking it seriously. I dont know what other trial games you're going to show us but this is an amzing first pick.
Not necessarily for this one but an idea: what if you have two teams to git gud? Then at the end of playing that game you have the teams play each other to see which it gudder? Just a thought.
Dear Achievement Hunters, I've played a fair bit of rocket league and I'm so excited for a git gud series in rocket league. I'd love to give you a couple of tips to help you out in gittin' gud :) - *Go into your settings and turn off camera shake* The game becomes so much smoother and control of the ball becomes almost instantly easier because of the fluidity in your camera. (Suggested by UnicornSpaceWhale) It's also important to add that you can customise your camera settings and a larger Field of View is often desirable to see more of the pitch at once. Play around with your camera angles and heights until you find something that's comfortable. A good place to start could be to search up what settings a pro player uses :) - *Boost is your best friend in rocket league* If you have no boost, you can't move fast enough and will easily get outplayed by your opponents. Having boost is a massive advantage to have so make sure you're not wasting it too much and go and get more ASAP. To make sure you're not wasting it, if you are going at maximum speed (ie there are streaks at the side of your screen meaning you're going as fast as possible), then don't keep using your boost. You will not go any faster and the boost will be wasted. Keep your eye on the ball, especially when you're going to get a boost cannister and you turn your camera lock off. It's really easy to miss an easy save because you were going to get some boost instead so watch out for that. - *If you don't have boost, FRONT FLIP FOR STYYLLEEE* To go faster when you are out of boost, double tap A while moving forward to front flip. This will gain you momentum fairly quickly and after 2 or 3 flips you'll be almost as quick as you would if you had boost. (Suggested by Edwin Stevenson): Flip diagonally forwards to gain slightly more speed and if you do have a little boost, make sure to use it just before you flip to gain even more momentum than just flipping. - *I'M STILL IN THE AIR because I'm aerialling* So this is a little more advanced and maybe something you should try out after you get into the series a bit. You may have noticed in a couple of your games that other players seemed to be 'flying' to reach the ball mid-air. This is a technique called aerialling and it is extremely effective in beating your opponents to the ball and scoring because of it. A very quick summary of it: Jump into the air using A, point your car upwards by pushing left stick downwards, and hold B to boost yourself upwards. Learning how to control this is hard and takes a lot of practice, but if you can, aerials will win you so many matches, especially at a lower level. - *Rebind your controls!* The default controls kinda suck and it can help to rebind them. By default, leaderboard is on RB and powerslide & air roll is on X. However, it can be very advantageous to rebind some of these. For example, it is quite common for players to rebind their air roll to RB and rebind the leaderboard to something else. (I have mine bound to LB and mic unbound). The reason for this is that when you are aerialling, you can roll at the same time as boosting, giving you even more flexible control. Of course, this is quite advanced so I wouldn't worry about it for a few episodes, but if you want to get serious about aerialling, then rebinding those controls is essential! - *Pinching balls (hehe)* Sometimes, a good way to move the ball quickly out of your half and into the opponent's half is to 'pinch' it off of a wall. This basically means hitting while the ball against the wall whilst it is is already touching the wall, causing it to 'pinch' sideways at an extreme speed. This can be a little unpredictable but often ends up well. You may want to just quickly youtube a clip of it to get an idea of what I mean as it's hard to explain without a demonstration. - *Goal keep sideways* If you ever find your self in goal and a ball is hurtling towards your car, turn yourself sideways on the goal line. This may seem counter-intuitive, but it allows you to more freely move to the position of the ball and block it. When coupled with the double jump (ie double tapping A), you can cover any point in the goal to quickly block any shot. You may need to practise a little to get your reactions up to speed, but this should be fairly easy. - *Play your opponent(s)* Sometimes, it's better to blow up an enemy than it is to hit the ball. If you see your teammate going for a shot and an opponent is sitting in goal, waiting to save it, go and blow them up :) It sounds mean, but unfortunately, it's the way the game is designed and you should take advantage of it to try and gain an edge over your opponents. Even if you don't have enough momentum to blow them up, just bumping them is extremely disorienting and this will probably anger them, leading them to irrational decisions and may even lead to a victory ;) - *sdrawkcab yalp ot nraeL (Learn to play backwards)* Sometimes, you simply don't have the time to turn around and chase the ball, so playing backwards will save you time and may even get you a goal or an important save. Holding left trigger to reverse and backflipping like described in tip 3 is very quick to do and if you have ball cam on (pressing Y), you can easily keep track of the ball too. Just remember that boost will not work while you're backwards and will make you go forwards :D - *Have someone on the halfway line* When you are playing 3v3's make sure that if 2 people go to shoot, the other one stays a little further back (usually around the halfway line) in case it all goes tits-up. If all 3 of you go up to shoot and if doesn't go in (which does happen a fair amount), the enemy can easily get a clear on target and score before you can even get back to your goal. So make sure that you are aware of your positioning in the sense that if you see all your teammates go for a shot, you restrain yourself and hang back in case they miss. (Suggested by multidolfan69) It's also important not to chase the ball and to always watch where you are positioned on the pitch, especially if a teammate is already chasin the ball to set it up or clear it etc. - *Communication is the key* You guys are already pretty amazing with how you communicate with each other, but I wanna reinforce how important it is. If you can call out that you're going for a shot or that you're setting it up for a teammeate, they can plan acordingly and your team will be so much better. Call out what you're doing all the time. Even if it's not really that important, knowing where your teammates are and what they're doing can be the difference between scoring and getting scored on, so keep that in mind. - *Competitive isn't as bad as you think!* (Suggested by Teleport Atlas) It can help to play some competitve to try and figure out what skill level you're currently at and actually play people of similar skill levels. It's, arguably, the best way of actually gitting gud and it will help the series along nicely. And it's not the same as in other games where you should already by really gud before you try ranked play (like rainbow six). You can start off right at the bottom and play with friends (or co-workers ;) ) and git gud quite quickly. - *Your car does actually matter* (Suggested by Eyan Pell) This is a slightly touchy area in rocket league as there are many disagreements on which cars actually do provide an advantage (if any at all). It is generally accepted, though, that the Octane, Dominus and Batmobile have the best stats and hitboxes. However, there are many different cars all with their own feel so just play with what you feel most comfortable with. Personally, I paly with the Takumi or the Aftershock, but again, it's down to personal preference :D - *Analyse your opponents' playstyle* (Suggested by Master Crander) It's important to try and classify your opponents' strengths and weaknesses to press an advanteage against them and win more games. I've copied exactly what MasterCrander said because I think it sets out the basic types of people you'll go up against: "Grass: Think about a grasshopper. Very hoppy, a lot of mid-height shots and a heavy use of front flipping. Weaknesses: Low likelihood of aerials, poor ground work, sloppy movement Strengths: Fast, unpredictable, reckless Ground: This is usually the most technical and intensive of the 4. The ball stays very low with these players; they often settle the ball instead of keeping it bouncing or flying. Speed control is crucial to ground players. Weaknesses: poor air control, can get stolen from, limited height range. Strengths: psychological game, micro-plays, dribbling, play calling, scoring under pressure, dependable defense Air: pretty self explanatory. These players live in the air. Most plays are an air dribble or big hit around the top of the arena. Weaknesses: no boost = no help, air players are useless without boost, they can get outplayed on the ground, plays are large and flashy Strengths: able to save dangerous balls, fas" Big props to MasterCrander for suggesting this :D I think that's about everything that could help you at such an early stage and I look forward to the series and I hope others will agree with me when I say I'm really excited to see it in action. (As a side note to other youtube commenters, please feel free to disagree/add any other points, I think the community of rocket league is so great and Achievement Hunter can really use all the help they can get) ;) EDIT: I wasn't going to include this, but part of this list is inspired by a video by SubParButInHD and you should definitely go and check them out if you want tips on getting better at any skill level. After al the huge support and kind feedback on my post, I feel like you guys should look up their youtube channel to check their rocket league content as well as their twitch streams. I've also uploaded this comment to the ahievement hunter website in hopes of Achievement Hunter seeing it
That's some awesome tips! I've been playing for a while but will definitely look into some of these myself! Only further suggestion would be for them to look at the training exercises that are within the game, specifically designed by pro players to help with specific RL skills. GG man, good advice all round!
William Clarke Yeah I definitely agree with using the in-game training, I just tried to refrain from mentioning that as it's not especially Achievement Hunter's style to train off camera. Usually, they try to just git gud by playing the game like in rainbow six and PUBG. Thank for the support though and hope to see you on the pitch ;)
As someone who also plays Rocket League, I think you covered some basic points really well. There are some more advanced stuff, but for now this could work for them as beginners.
"We're gonna try a Git Gud in Rocket League" *scores once less than a minute into the let's play* I mean it is Michael tho so it's possible it was pure luck
i think he intentionally avoids that phrase now. i have vague memories of him in either rocket league, or some other game where being "still in the air" is a possibility, almost saying it and then stopping himself.
This is the Git Gud I've been waiting for! I really hope you guys continue with this. A couple things that would help from the very start, rebinding your controls, and fixing the default camera settings. As a goal for Gitting Gud, I'd like to see you guys try to get to Gold level in Ranked play, it's still far from the Pros at Grand Champ level, but still takes some skill to reach. I mean, this is just Git Gud, not Git Gr8. Either way, keep up the great content guys, ill watch the series regardless of the game you choose to stick with.
Wolfram42 assuming you arent playing with keyboard and mouse (I dont know those controls) the main thing is getting boost off of B or O and onto X or Square, and move the Air Roll/Drift to LB/L1. This helps allow boosting while drifting or air rolling while flying. As for camera controls, you want to crank up the FOV, add a bit more distance behind the car, the rest really comes to personal preference. I always cringe when starting an AH Rocket League video because their camera feels like its wayyyy too close. Still my top pick for Git Gud though.
I think the voting should be with Likes rather than views or a combination of both. A largely viewed video could have only a few likes but a different one could have small views but lots more likes.
gotta comment and like and view, and maybe even view again. I think it's a tie between BF1 and Rocket League, but, since EA is the devil I don't want to give them any more publicity. RL all the way!
This game is addicting. If you guys decide to play again you'll have a much smoother experience if you turn off camera shake and put camera stiffness at maximum (1.00). You could also try different camera orientations if you didn't know.
This was the most invested I've been in a LP in a long time. It legit felt like I was watching my favorite sports team. The next Git Gud Tryouts are gonna have to be really goddamn good to beat this one in my mind. It's got every single qualification that the guys talked about for a Git Gud series
I don’t think they should do this by views. I think it should be likes. I want to watch all of them to see which one i want them to do and then like based on that. But i don’t want my views to post a vote for all of them. I know my views won’t make an overall difference but i would love to have more control over what they do and i think voting by likes would achieve that.
Maybe they dont know, but G2 Kronovi and G2 Rizzo (two fan favorite pro player) are in Texas I think! maybe they could contact them and do a collab? like they did with NoahJ! That would be great! Upvote so they can see it!
World Of Cubing I think they were Overrated too (I am a a Kaydop fan since day 1), but they finished 4th at RLCS this year, and they lost again Gale and C9 (was pretty obvious that they would loose). That performance actually changed my mind on G2! They are pretty good for a pro team!
I do hope this is the next GitGud or at least they do a series of this game, because this is one of the tryouts that doesnt involve constant shooting and killing. So you cant transfer skills from Siege or PUBG to this
Git Gud! Nothing else you've played in this series up until now was this entertaining. Play until you can dribble the ball whilst flying, and score. I know I'm too late for my views to count, but this game should git the gig.
After watching them all so far, this is still by far my favourite of all. You all sound like you're having a great time, it has some brilliant funny moments, and it has great potential for ranked matches being a nice easy way for you guys to track how gid you have gitten
That save by Jeremy was actually nice. Watching you all run into eachother is giving me flashbacks to everytime I try to play this game with a friend tho.
yes... but my big thing is they don't even know how to fly. most of them dont even double jump... they are legit playing this game at like 40% capacity.
RobertUOW 40%? They can jump and drive (sorta) and a couple can double jump. That's more like 5% lol. You still have dribbling, air dribbling, aerials, backboard usage, bounce reading, wall hits, drifting, dunking, ceiling shots, team rotations, kickoff mechanics, doinking, half flipping, and much much more.
I think they need to play 3v3's and get someone in there to increase the skill level. They are really playing at the bottom tier and wont be improving any time soon because of how gradual the improvement gradient is in Rocket League.
Pulling someone else in that is better doesn't make you better because Rocket League is a muscle memory game, not a watch and learn game. Frankly it will hinder there progression because they won't be partaking in the action as often because the better player will be doing most of the work. And like aidanrooney95 said, its git gud not git carried.
Honestly thought it would be much worse. Honestly would like to see lads and gents separate teams, different videos, in rank, and compete at the end of the month. I mean if they play rank and get to like gold 1 and end goal is plat 2 I think it would be a successful git gud. But rlcs champs should be ideal lol
Unless they play like 300 hours they wont be getting gold anytime soon. Your average player hits gold skill level around 300 hours of play, plat at 5-600, and diamond at 800. They normally don't spend more then 200 hours on a game and with all the games they play it will make learning even harder.
yeah wickerman im gold 3 with 150 hours this dude is exaggerating a little. but at the same time saying they would be able to get to plat is a bit much lol i think a reasonable "good" level would be gold 1, maybe upper silver for them
I totally agree with many of the comments on here. Most Achievement Hunter fans will watch whatever content they put out, it is nice to give us and instant feedback to them though before committing to a series. The first comment I saw on here by Rix raised a good point I agreed with, where I felt you weren't really getting a strong representation of rocket league challenge from your opponent's. However this game needs a learning curve and dropping you "In the deep end" with harder opponents isnt fun and training wheels are recommended! To clarify I dont consider myself an amazing player at all. But I have played this game for a long time and the best part of this game is it's evolution. Your abilities open up gradually and keep it refreshing. Run - Jump - Fly . That teamed up with Achievement Hunters glam and glitter! Sounds like a perfect recipe for a git good series to me.
Wow the team is surprisingly coherent already. Jeremey the goalie, Michael the striker, Ryan the assist machine and Gavin the distraction. Perfect team already
As someone who loves this game, grab the Octane or Dominus guys. Take some time to learn flight controls and learn to toggle between ball cam and normal. Ball cam is great for when you are surveying, like when Jeremy is in goal. Ball cam is terrible for when you are getting close to the ball and need to dribble or make a fine tuned shot.
I'd love to see them do git gud in this, but I'd also love to see them just play this. Either way, i desperately want to see them play more rocket league, this is fantastic
Wow! This video hyped me up so much! What a great team and just amazing! I love these videos! Roosterteeth is such an amazing company and I swear each of the channels have their own way of making amazing content. With Michael being the fan favorite for me, Gavin at a close second, Jeremy right behind him, and Ryan in last but not least. I absolutely loved this video and I'm definitely going to get this game! Stay awesome, all of you!
Perfect game for a git gud series. Easy controls, everything can custom from the controls to the camera. The game is simple and very difficult to git gud, skill wise. I'd love to see more of Rocket League, and not to mention this is also an esport, you'll get quite the viewers.
I would've loved to see a git gud in this but they stomped the first two games which I hear were noobs, and did pretty well in the 3v3's as well. Though they could have gotten better there isn't much room to improve
There is sooooooooo much room to improve. They haven't even started to learn air hits yet which is a big part. They will also learn to rotate better instead of having a "goalie".
I'd love to see two teams of three both trying to Git Gud at the same time. Each let's play shows a couple of games from each team. Then after a set amount of weeks they play each other to see which team got the gud-est.
This gets my vote! Please continue this series :) . Some people here say it's hard to watch, but as a RL player myself I must say that I never had that feeling. It's fun to see you play football together, and as beginners you are doing quite well!
A better strategy than having someone in goal is good rotations. When one of your attackers is low on boost they go back for boost/defending and the person in the back moves forward. One person should be on the ball, one ready to receive a pass and the third in a defensive position (usually near mid field if on attack).
I fully understand for the first time the pain of watching them play a game terribly, them thinking theyre pretty good, when everyone else sees how bad they are.
Semi-pro tip: You'll need to learn how to fly to git gud at this game. Go into your controls and change the boost button to the left shoulder button. There are other ways to accomplish the same thing, but you want to be able to roll and boost at the same time while in the air. The default button layout is butt for this.
Achievement Unlocked: Two Gud - Win a perfect game in one round Achievement Unlocked: F**K IT! I'M OUT! - Win a game by forfeit in the last 30 seconds.
Being 2 years into playing RL and Diamond rank, I am feeling 3 things watching this.... Excited to watch AH play my favorite game, Nostalgic for the days when I first played RL and the matches were like this, but mostly cringing with the level of play this is versus what Im used to now
Having watched all the Git Gud tryouts, this still very much has my vote. I love Rocket League and it'd be nice to have a non-FPS/TPS as the next series! P.S. You could still do 2 teams of 3 in this and have them running simultaneously to see who reaches a certain rank first!
Even if you guys don't do a git gud for this, some let's plays would be great! It's so fun to watch
I don't know how this "vote with your views" is going to work. If other AH fans are like me, they will watch every video no matter what. :)
if they do a good one (like ark) i'll just open a back tab and put it on mute and on a loop
Jake Coburn well, r6 is really boring to me so I just ignored it. I’m sure rl will be the same for some
whats fucked up is i would have watched all of them, but i really want to seethis as a series so now i cant watch their content for a month
Every video with pure hatred to lindsay
Odin Leqacy Boo on hate.
I love how everyone just waits when the ball goes in the air instead of going up for it 😂
Not necessarily for this one but an idea: what if you have two teams to git gud? Then at the end of playing that game you have the teams play each other to see which it gudder? Just a thought.
Please do Git Gud in this game with this exact crew. One of the most entertaining games with the four best AH members is a match made in Heaven.
they need to play 3v3 though for a proper competitive experience
They definitely need 3v3, maybe two 3v3 teams. Just keep Alfredo out of it. He drains the humour.
Dear Achievement Hunters,
I've played a fair bit of rocket league and I'm so excited for a git gud series in rocket league. I'd love to give you a couple of tips to help you out in gittin' gud :)

Big props to MasterCrander for suggesting this :D
I think that's about everything that could help you at such an early stage and I look forward to the series and I hope others will agree with me when I say I'm really excited to see it in action.
(As a side note to other youtube commenters, please feel free to disagree/add any other points, I think the community of rocket league is so great and Achievement Hunter can really use all the help they can get) ;)
EDIT: I wasn't going to include this, but part of this list is inspired by a video by SubParButInHD and you should definitely go and check them out if you want tips on getting better at any skill level. After al the huge support and kind feedback on my post, I feel like you guys should look up their youtube channel to check their rocket league content as well as their twitch streams. I've also uploaded this comment to the ahievement hunter website in hopes of Achievement Hunter seeing it
World Of Cubing Holy shit, an actual critical comment that is supportive and gives good feedback. Plus 1 for you bud
Celldweller99 Thank mate :D Rocket league is just one of my favourite games ever and I'd love to see them git gud in it
That's some awesome tips!
"We're gonna try a Git Gud in Rocket League"
*scores once less than a minute into the let's play*
I mean it is Michael tho so it's possible it was pure luck
To be fair, that shot wasnt good at all and shouldve been saved
Yeh it’s not as if they’re playing against noobs, oh wait.
Connor Bivens they really aren't that good, they have a very long way to go
But this game is boring and it sucks
I’m waiting for Ryan to say “I’m still in the air!” someday in Rocket League
In the first rocket league episode he said that.
i think he intentionally avoids that phrase now. i have vague memories of him in either rocket league, or some other game where being "still in the air" is a possibility, almost saying it and then stopping himself.
Sergeant Spoon No dip Sherlock. Everybody knows he constantly avoids saying it. And when he fucks up and says it, it’s hilarious.
What do you recommend for keybindings and camera controls?
Wolfram42 assuming you arent playing with keyboard and mouse (I dont know those controls) the main thing is getting boost off of B or O and onto X or Square, and move the Air Roll/Drift to LB/L1. This helps allow boosting while drifting or air rolling while flying. As for camera controls, you want to crank up the FOV, add a bit more distance behind the car, the rest really comes to personal preference. I always cringe when starting an AH Rocket League video because their camera feels like its wayyyy too close. Still my top pick for Git Gud though.
Git Good tip for Gavin:
double tap A
Gears and Games and lock on to the ball
Also boost is a thing. I don't think I saw him boost at all
I think the voting should be with Likes rather than views or a combination of both. A largely viewed video could have only a few likes but a different one could have small views but lots more likes.
gotta comment and like and view, and maybe even view again. I think it's a tie between BF1 and Rocket League, but, since EA is the devil I don't want to give them any more publicity. RL all the way!
Damn, you guys had fun playing this. I really enjoyed this one. Keep it up
This game is addicting. If you guys decide to play again you'll have a much smoother experience if you turn off camera shake and put camera stiffness at maximum (1.00). You could also try different camera orientations if you didn't know.
After watching all of the tryouts, I cast my vote for this, Rocket League as the next git gud.
I want to see them play this more and care about it whether or not they do it for get good I want to see more of it from them
Maybe they dont know, but G2 Kronovi and G2 Rizzo (two fan favorite pro player) are in Texas I think! maybe they could contact them and do a collab? like they did with NoahJ! That would be great! Upvote so they can see it!
Personally, I think Kronovi and G2 are over rated but yes I love the idea of a collab with a professional player that would be fucking amazing
"Overrated" 😂 as they have to actually be good to make a professional team. K then.
Erik Horyza when you try to be edgy on the internet
That would be amazing! They could get a lesson on aerials and basic tips. That would be dope!
I do hope this is the next GitGud or at least they do a series of this game, because this is one of the tryouts that doesnt involve constant shooting and killing. So you cant transfer skills from Siege or PUBG to this
I think they could've easily ended the Git Gud series after that 1st match. :D
Also to everyone in the U.S. Happy Thanksgiving.
xXGamerDudeXx13 dude they suck
LOL. especially Gavin. :D
They are doing this to find out what the audience wants to see
When they say get gud I wanna know how much because if u really wanna be good at this game then your gonna have to play for like 500-1000 hours
At that skill yeah they’re pretty good
Git Gud! Nothing else you've played in this series up until now was this entertaining. Play until you can dribble the ball whilst flying, and score. I know I'm too late for my views to count, but this game should git the gig.
Sooo much room for improvement! I vote for Rocket League.
After watching them all so far, this is still by far my favourite of all. You all sound like you're having a great time, it has some brilliant funny moments, and it has great potential for ranked matches being a nice easy way for you guys to track how gid you have gitten
I’m pumped for this, but they should try ranked. Might lead to more close games
That save by Jeremy was actually nice. Watching you all run into eachother is giving me flashbacks to everytime I try to play this game with a friend tho.
Maybe try 3v3 Competitive Playlist!
Normally I wouldn't comment on a video like this, but every time you guys play Rocket League it's gold, so please, more of this.
play the introduction... seriously... legit step 4 or 5 of the introduction training says "LEARNING TO FLY"
Training is debatable, helps some but not many being a player with 900 hours of RL I think I know wat I’m talking about.
yes... but my big thing is they don't even know how to fly. most of them dont even double jump... they are legit playing this game at like 40% capacity.
I played the entire introduction and I'm still shite at all that stuff
RobertUOW 40%? They can jump and drive (sorta) and a couple can double jump. That's more like 5% lol. You still have dribbling, air dribbling, aerials, backboard usage, bounce reading, wall hits, drifting, dunking, ceiling shots, team rotations, kickoff mechanics, doinking, half flipping, and much much more.
This one is my vote for the actual git gud series, love this one!
I think they need to play 3v3's and get someone in there to increase the skill level. They are really playing at the bottom tier and wont be improving any time soon because of how gradual the improvement gradient is in Rocket League.
shan_rocks they don’t rotate and that’s what bothers me
Agree with 3v3 but definetly not getting someone better. This is Git Gud not Git Carried
Please, gods, make this series. Rocket League Let's Plays were amazing, and I've wanted more for a while
Good luck with that lol
5:42 that was an amazing save by Jeremy
Honestly thought it would be much worse. Honestly would like to see lads and gents separate teams, different videos, in rank, and compete at the end of the month. I mean if they play rank and get to like gold 1 and end goal is plat 2 I think it would be a successful git gud. But rlcs champs should be ideal lol
Unless they play like 300 hours they wont be getting gold anytime soon. Your average player hits gold skill level around 300 hours of play, plat at 5-600, and diamond at 800. They normally don't spend more then 200 hours on a game and with all the games they play it will make learning even harder.
TheChemizzle That seems a bit too many hours to me. I'm solid plat at 200-250 hours. Possible diamond at 300+.
yeah wickerman im gold 3 with 150 hours this dude is exaggerating a little. but at the same time saying they would be able to get to plat is a bit much lol i think a reasonable "good" level would be gold 1, maybe upper silver for them
I totally agree with many of the comments on here.
Real early this time, wanna thank my mum my dad and my crippling sense of loneliness
13:16 Jeremy just hits the ball and just goes back slowly like an action film.
Need a collaboration with rizz and sizz
Joey Tomosky I would love that
yesss! haha have them teach AH that would be hilarious I bet they would be up for it too. I bet Kronovi would too.
That would be amazing like a 2v4 private matc
How about the Rizzle Sizzle Jizzle? 😂
Joey Tomosky wasssssup brother man YEAAA BOIIIIIIIIII
i love how well they work together in this video, hopefully they won't be such monsters to each other during the raids after this series
Yes continue this series!
Wow the team is surprisingly coherent already. Jeremey the goalie, Michael the striker, Ryan the assist machine and Gavin the distraction. Perfect team already
Anyone know when the next git gud might be coming?
It would be cool to see a git gud in all the games they tested, but this is the one I want to see most and first.
I don't need to see anymore this is it
If this is chosen please turn camera shake off and make the camera higher and or wider. Also probably play ranked 3s
This is my favorite group together and I forgot how entertaining this game is.
For the love of god please turn off camera shake
I love the way that Jeremy is a defensive force and there are two strikers
Watches five minutes PLEEAAAASE AREEEIAL
This is by far the best Git Gud tryout.
Git Gud Assassins Creed multiplayer
As someone who loves this game, grab the Octane or Dominus guys. Take some time to learn flight controls and learn to toggle between ball cam and normal. Ball cam is great for when you are surveying, like when Jeremy is in goal. Ball cam is terrible for when you are getting close to the ball and need to dribble or make a fine tuned shot.
The only thing painful about this video are the elitist's comments. AH, great video, I was entertained.
3v3 ranked is where the skilled players will start showing up, and that's the best way to make this a Git Gud series
I just want an Ark series people would love that shit
I'd love to see them do git gud in this, but I'd also love to see them just play this. Either way, i desperately want to see them play more rocket league, this is fantastic
Get gud vote for this
I forgot how much I love watching AH play this game.
It’s a no from me
I love watching them play this game whether im watching with focus or using it as background noise to my work, would love to see some GitGud on this!!
You guys seem to already be good at this game, but still excited to see the other games trying out
Actually they're pretty much bottom tier. A single grand champ could 1v4 them with ease.
They are pretty bad actually, there are a lot of things they don't do at all that are basic mechanics in the game.
They're still a lot better than they were though haha.
I don't care if this is the next get good series, but I do want to see more of this game. It's so fun to watch, in my opinion.
You all need to play ranked. Also, maybe check out the "Why you suck at Rocket League" series on RUclips..
Please, PLEASE, do more Rocket League. It's intense, it's funny, and most importantly, it's not a shooter.
Switch out gav and Ryan in videos so you can play normal instead of chaos
Git Gud Dead by Daylight would be cool.
Perfect game for a git gud series. Easy controls, everything can custom from the controls to the camera. The game is simple and very difficult to git gud, skill wise. I'd love to see more of Rocket League, and not to mention this is also an esport, you'll get quite the viewers.
Play fifa 18
I would've loved to see a git gud in this but they stomped the first two games which I hear were noobs, and did pretty well in the 3v3's as well. Though they could have gotten better there isn't much room to improve
Magic Man Bro here you are again saying this 😂 search up Pro Rocket League it takes 3000+ hours to be close to top tier
Dudeg6 Shut the fuck up, loser. Not being top tier MLG champs doesn't mean they aren't good. Stop harassing people with your elitist bullshit.
There is sooooooooo much room to improve. They haven't even started to learn air hits yet which is a big part. They will also learn to rotate better instead of having a "goalie".
They have so far to go. I'm a Rocketeer and see obvious improvements to be made for competitive 3's. This would be a great Git Gud.
I'd love to see two teams of three both trying to Git Gud at the same time. Each let's play shows a couple of games from each team. Then after a set amount of weeks they play each other to see which team got the gud-est.
This hurts to watch lol but still funny to watch as well ❤️ would love for them to make more
The team dynamic is so good this game! Would love to see more!
I remember being at this level. Waiting for the ball to stop playing in order to hit it.
This gets my vote! Please continue this series :) . Some people here say it's hard to watch, but as a RL player myself I must say that I never had that feeling. It's fun to see you play football together, and as beginners you are doing quite well!
Also, the matchmaking system is excellent, so you'll mostly play tight and exciting games!
I'll vote with my view and my comment too: THIS NEEDS to be a series. I play this game a ton and I have to say, they did well for their first time!
I think I'd like to see rocket league out of the 4 options but if you do you guys absolutely have to do the ranked mode
Instead of the amount of views to decide the series it should be the amount of likes
This is my go-to game right now and glad to see you guys still playing it on and off. would be fun to see a vid of trying to climb the ranked ladder!
A better strategy than having someone in goal is good rotations. When one of your attackers is low on boost they go back for boost/defending and the person in the back moves forward. One person should be on the ball, one ready to receive a pass and the third in a defensive position (usually near mid field if on attack).
I feel like there isn’t enough for the random hilarity that pubg or siege has for this to be a good one for git gud.
I didn't think Rocket League would make a fun git gud series but this video proved me wrong. This was tons of fun!
I fully understand for the first time the pain of watching them play a game terribly, them thinking theyre pretty good, when everyone else sees how bad they are.
I think we definitely need to see the other ideas before we jump to conclusions on this one
I wasn't sure about Rocket League for a GIt Gud series, until I watched this. I'm convinced. Go for it.
Semi-pro tip: You'll need to learn how to fly to git gud at this game. Go into your controls and change the boost button to the left shoulder button. There are other ways to accomplish the same thing, but you want to be able to roll and boost at the same time while in the air. The default button layout is butt for this.
i absolutely love this, I really hope this becomes the first game they choose to play for the git gud series.
Achievement Unlocked: Two Gud - Win a perfect game in one round
Achievement Unlocked: F**K IT! I'M OUT! - Win a game by forfeit in the last 30 seconds.
Being 2 years into playing RL and Diamond rank, I am feeling 3 things watching this.... Excited to watch AH play my favorite game, Nostalgic for the days when I first played RL and the matches were like this, but mostly cringing with the level of play this is versus what Im used to now
Jeremy's save in the first game was outrageous.
Fast paced & intense, definitely entertaining to watch this
Michael, Ryan, and Jeremy show some good potential for becoming pretty decent/good at rocket league.
Jeremy at the pro level you are epic in casual play. Those power ups add some wildly great carnage to this fun game
We need Ark, Payday 2, More Hitman, More 7 days to die, More Sky factory, This content just keeps getting better hahaha
That bip bop boop had me rolling 😂😂👍
This definitely has an intense feel. Would love to see this as a Git Gud series. But you guys seem pretty good already
It's not easy to watch this when every mediocre move is "SOOOOO GOOOOODDD" haha
SO far this is my favorite Get Gud candidate
Having watched all the Git Gud tryouts, this still very much has my vote. I love Rocket League and it'd be nice to have a non-FPS/TPS as the next series!
P.S. You could still do 2 teams of 3 in this and have them running simultaneously to see who reaches a certain rank first!
