One time in school my teacher told us to bring in a video of us doing our talent for extra credit. I dont really feel like I HAVE a talent, so I just brought in a video of me getting a Perfect on Extreme difficulty for a song in one of the old Project Diva games. Nobody in my class was supportive and my teacher kept giving me irritated looks full of judgment while my video was playing for the class. And when it was over she moodily said "I guess that counts for something, alright I'll give you the extra credit. But next time, bring a shorter video and make sure its actually about your talent, not you just playing a video game." 😂 Stuff like this takes practice sure, but if tou are just good rhythm wise then you will have an easier time than others, and that is kinda the definition of a talent, isnt it? Something you are more geared toward naturally than others? Im proud of this dude, but even more than that, I'm proud of his camera man singing along and cheering him on and supporting him the whole time and getting the rest of the crowd hyped up too.❤ Thats a real friend right there.
You should've pulled up the game and made her play the exact map you did. Rhythm games are hard and take a long time to actually get good at. Even naturally talented people have to put in the effort.

@@Magica39curry Ah, that's the thing. Thumbs are always easier initially, for the exact reason you stated, but once you start getting to the hard songs the difficulty increases exponentially. When you start off with 4 fingers it may be harder at first, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Think of it like typing, if you're just starting off it may be tempting to use two fingers because there are less mistakes and thinking about positioning that way, but then increasing your speed gets harder and harder, so better to use more fingers. Additionally, if you play piano or some similar instrument that uses multiple fingers to play different notes, then it's even easier to use multiple fingers on pjs.

i didnt do exactly this but during covid in online school we had this thing to replace science camp that was basically a bingo board or whatever and one of the slots was a talent show on flipgrid so i recorded myself playing a rhythm game for it (like 5 times lol)
If I did this, no one would bat an eye. Which on one hand, is a good thing cause nobody would make fun of you or talk about it the next day, but on the other it’s discouraging knowing that no one would really care. Anyway good job!
