Juuso Lautamäki, bro, the brain does have 2 hemispheres joined by corpus callosum. Also, it wouldn’t be wrong to say both hemispheres are constantly in work, and an individual with left hand dominance will show more concentrated “activity” in their right hemisphere. And both sides of brain can perform each function. It’s just one side is better adapted to perform certain tasks.

Being right-brained just means you're more likely to use your imaginations (nature), how imaginative or creative you can be depends entirely on YOU (nurture). Feed your brains with more art, music, literature, etc and see the difference.
I’m very analytical and think this is to simple a way to assume such a thing. But before he mentioned which side of the brains my left thumb was already on top... it seems like a lot of nonsense to me lol
@@riabejoy3502 My right thumb was on top, and my dominant hand is my left. Then again, I do use my right hand for doing things such as holding a keyboard mouse, but I mainly use my left hand otherwise.
What about me who was once left handed but learned to write with right hand, but still chose to use the chopsticks with the left hand. I could still write with my left but it's out of practice so right has better handwriting. My left hand is stronger than my right, but my right hand has more control than my left. I also tend to mix up what thumb is on top since I don't have a preference. I'm just ambidextrous. I do tend to be a jack of all trades though...
no actually, i’m right handed and i put my right thumb on top of the other and i asked my sister who’s right handed as well to try it but her left thumb is on top and when i asked to do the opposite she said it’s weird and feels like something is missing and it’s just not feels right and the fact that my sister love to draw and want to be an artist explain everything, but personally i don’t think we can box the way other people brain works just by how they clasp their hand, right?
one thing i know is that this doesn't have anything to do with your dominant hand. We did this in class, everyone in my class is right handed and like 50% of the people had their left thumb on the top while the other half had their right thumb on top.
You have to rearrange your whole hand though. Otherwise your thumb is resting on a finger of the same hand. If you shift them all, its not uncomfortable any more but just feels like one would have to get used to it.
i understand that u have to shift ur entire hand and for me when there’s something i need to get used to its uncomfortable. maybe it’s just be but i don’t know about you
It comes down to the way you held your own hands If your right hand pinky finger is the farthest away from you, your left thumb will be on top of your right one If your left hand pinky finger is the farthest away from you, your right thumb will be on top of your left one
So when I meet someone new, I should ask them to trace a capital Q on their forehead with their finger and then ask them to clasp their hands together? Isn't that a little weird?
It's actually true , there r brains and it's scientifically proven. Don't knw if this video is true tbh , I logical stuff so my right thumb was over my right but still I don't believe it coz my friend's logically shit n his thumb placement is same as me .
There is, but having a certain personality doesn't mean you only use either your right or left side of your brain. We all use both sides of our brain when we're doing something like drawing, or something more analytical like a puzzle or something like that.
I have thumb to thumb, none over the other. But, I use my analytical side when I'm creative. A manager I had said that the combination of analytical and creative is unusual. It surprised me, as I saw it as self-evident that you analyze in order to be creative. "How have others solved this, and can I do it in my own way based on what I've learned from others?"
Art can be creative and analytical and math can be also creative and analytical and you need both. Example: A Artist needs to think if the logic of the painting makes sense (anatomy, lighting, perspective) and he also needs to make the painting interesting through his creativity. A mathematician needs to accurately solve the equations in a very analytical mode but needs to be creative enough to find ways to solve some problems.
B!tch SAME. I’m on my second non-published book with a whole lotta other ideas waiting on my brain, play piano and ukulele, draws, paints - basically loves anything with art lmao. @@santiagolerin dang me too (I also engaged in art activities when I was a high schooler)... 😅 but I tend to visualize or make an analogy or two when learning new things
Logically using this method to capsulated whether someone analytical or creative, than that mean anyone without any arms or any finger truly doesn't think in either way at all. Truly life changing
I see a lot of people got the opposite of what they were expecting. I think "creative" here doesn't imply an exclussively artistic expression but rather an intuitive or a cognitive mannerism; a visionary. "Analytical" simmilarly doesn't have to include what first pops into your mind, like maths for instance, but rather in a way a psychologyst may be considered analytical for their thoroughness.
Well, it's like he said, everyone is both and most jobs require both. So, just because you're a "left brained" engineer doesn't mean you're not creative, or just because you're a "right brained" artist doesn't mean you're not analytical. Both of those jobs can have those aspects to them. Visual and creative arts have a lot of analytical components, just as engineering requires vision and creativity.

Being right-brained just means you're more likely to use your imaginations (nature), how imaginative or creative you can be depends entirely on YOU (nurture). Feed your brains with more art, music, literature, etc and see the difference.

Try music. That one seems to work for me.
Creativity is like a colour wheel, it's not fixed.
that animation at the end made me want to buy the book. that is awfully good marketing
I’m very analytical and think this is to simple a way to assume such a thing. But before he mentioned which side of the brains my left thumb was already on top... it seems like a lot of nonsense to me lol
are you left handed?

Isn’t this just a matter of being left handed or right handed?
Yeah...that’s what I thought too.
I thought so too.
no actually, i’m right handed and i put my right thumb on top of the other and i asked my sister who’s right handed as well to try it but her left thumb is on top and when i asked to do the opposite she said it’s weird and feels like something is missing and it’s just not feels right and the fact that my sister love to draw and want to be an artist explain everything, but personally i don’t think we can box the way other people brain works just by how they clasp their hand, right?
I think it's genetical but not related to being right- or left-handed nor to how your brain works...

Art can be creative and analytical and math can be also creative and analytical and you need both.
Example:
A Artist needs to think if the logic of the painting makes sense (anatomy, lighting, perspective) and he also needs to make the painting interesting through his creativity.
A mathematician needs to accurately solve the equations in a very analytical mode but needs to be creative enough to find ways to solve some problems.
