Hi guys, my episode 2 reaction is here! : ruclips.net/video/glNQ0GBfntY/видео.html This is the original (slithly longer) version of this reaction where I kept all of my thoughts and even decided to drink everytime I'd see something too sexual cause I'm a dumbass! Enjoy! (or not) 🙃 ruclips.net/video/EbNmLQif8f4/видео.html
I believe the line “mental illness is sexy” is to show that her team doesn’t have her best interest. What I took from this is that Jocelyn is hurt, traumatized and numb all at the same time and she is looking for an escape and freedom with tedros despite him having other intentions and I think it’s gonna be a volatile course of self destruction and manipulation as both of them play chess with each other
I really like your thoughts on this. And yes I also believe that her team is exploiting her because she's clearly not ''doing fine'' as they keep repeating. They're afraid she'll have another mental breakdown not because of her wellbeing but because of their bag. And I also see the whole ''looking for an escape'' but I still feel like it's happening too fast. Some stuff could've been taking out of the first episode for more character development and backstory. And I also feel like having her and The Weeknd go this far in the first episode when we didn't get a chance to know much about either of them isn't the best story telling. I also doubt that she'll play chess with him. He'll 100% manipulate her into another mental breakdown... Basically, the whole show feels like it was written by the Weeknd and not competent screen writers! Episode 1 was a giant videoclip with dialogues! ;;
@@Anais_Frenchy agreed I wish they had more character development in the first episode like the euphoria characters. And I feel the same about the dialogue I feel like she’s gonna have multiple breakdowns until she fully hits rock bottom I’m honestly worried for the character but still not enough to be like omg because of the missing development
I forgot about that... 6 episodes is def not a lot but it's possible to do a well written 6 episodes series. It's been done before. And so far, that 1st episode is making me nervous for the rest of the season. That being said, I'll still watch it on Sunday because 6 episodes isn't a big commitment! XD
@@Anais_Frenchy yes it’s not a big commitment agreed! Ima give it a try but if it doesn’t go good ima ditch it. Also I feel like maybe they could’ve just made the episode longer or just show us five mins of backstory like euphoria
I mean how can I know if I don't like it if I don't watch it! 😅 That's the whole point of "reaction video" isn't? I show you how I felt while watching the show. 😋
"i stand for women rights" but i will also boil a women down to her looks as her whole existence lol no way both of these things happen in one video wtf
It may sound like that and yet if you refer to 09:08 - 13:13 : ''Who is Jocelyn'' and what I say after 21:01 are a pretty good indication that it's not the case. If we refer to Euphoria, we got such an interesting view of Rue and Jules in the first episode. We even got a little backstory and we got to see them do weird and interesting stuff. Outside of the obsessive and useless nudity and over-sexualization, what did we see of Jocelyn in this first episode that really tells us who she is? Everything felt fake and performative. She's playing a role in her own life but we barely get to go deeper. So I'll repeat my questions once again: Who is she? What is she fighting for? What's the conflict? Etc...
@@Anais_Frenchy you have such harsh comments already for the show and actors in episode 1 can the plot fucking develop at least every potentially great story doesnt knock you in the head off rip lol
@@LBreezy24 I am hard because the names that are attached to this project have given us so much better before (Euphoria season 1) and so yes, I had expectations and so far the show doesn't meet them. I'll see if things get better as the story goes on but if it doesn't, then this show is a miss and that's it. It is what it is! :/

@@Anais_Frenchy I also feel like they rushed it because they only got a six episode arc I feel like they should’ve had 8-10 episodes

this a movie genre, erotic thriller, i know sometimes nudity can trigger the audience, but it is common on that cinema genre.
Don't like it then don't watch it... Simple as that. People always find something to complain about.
