He had a bit of a rough time constantly being compared to Mike Trout (even though Mike entered the year before Bryce), who's a generational player up there amongst the greatest to ever play. Harper has still managed to win a RotY, two MVPs, and has compiled 42.5 WAR before he's hit 30. He's likely Cooperstown-bound even if he isn't inner-circle, and something like his epic playoffs output this year really helps cement the legend, especially if they win. If the Phillies do, it's on his back. His brand and image are really built for this stage, moreso than Trout, and as a Nats fan, it's been very fun watching him tear it up this year.
@@jeffhenderson5995 For real, he isn't even overrated. You can't compare anyone to Trout, and I feel like it was just unfair that people did compare them. If they win this whole thing after starting the season 21-29 and firing their manager, then being the last team to qualify for the postseason plus having to play mostly road games (never a home field advantage since they are the lowest seed) then yes, absolutely.
