IMO, Mario can’t solo fiction because of how many disgustingly strong characters are in fiction. But, his comp version, which includes Mario kun and Dr. Mario kun from the manga series, he is def a strong character
No, not really, but close. He beat manga Bowser, who defeated Manga Kamen, a character who sees his world as fiction. Also, jumped out the manga and beat the author.
chi chi trained gohan and goten when they were kids too cause she wanted them to be strong enough to defend themselves and she is constantly helping her dad on his works like despite being the most annoying character in the series she is still playing a signficant side character role in the mangaanime
My anime hot take: Blackbeard has failed to look impressive in any single fight he has been apart of. His fight versus ace was the closest thing to impressive he has ever accomplished. In impel down he as well as his crew were nearly one shot killed by magellan and were saved by shiryu who miraculously had the antidote. Marineford he showed his trump card by negating whitebeards devil fruit only to a few panels or chapters later pleading for his life, and only entered the war after everyone had been fighting for a long time already then after whitebeard was defeated sengoku one shotted his crew and they decided to run when shanks arrived. Against boa he and his crew left with koby after being confronted by an old Rayleigh who later admitted he couldnt beat teach anymore meaning blackbeard was unable to detect this or showed cowardice by leaving. Against law he took burgess with the strong fruit, van augur with the warp fruit, doc q with the sickness fruit and stronger with the pegasus fruit to take on one of the weakest crews in one piece whos only notable combatants were law, bepo and a former world noble slave, only to fail in capturing law. So in my opinion blackbeard just hasn't looked impressive at all.
I agree, but that's one of the reasons why I like his character. You can talk bad about his appearance, powers, feats, personality or everything else but in the end, he kinda won. I just like how persistent he's been. I just hope he gets fleshed out in the future

nit just konoha, early naruto felt like an actual world with all the villages, feudal lords etc but everything had to be about the sharingan and hidden leaf village like the hidden leaf was the center of the universe. zabuza mission with haku coming in and kakashi talking about his role and learning more about hidden mist was so cool. stuff like that.

That wasn’t a dream, it was in the dream world. Bowser was powered by a fragment of the dream stone, which contains multiple universe sized dreams inside of it. Dreamy Bowser also can wish anything he dreams about into reality. The dream stone is also a main factor that was going to merge Mario’s world with the dream world.

One complaint i have in naruto is how powerful naruto was through the series, during the chuuin exams naruto was taking our gaara the strongest sand shinobi at the time. While the previous generation of the ino shika cho was dealing with random no named sound anbu, while naruto was fighting gaara asuma and shinos dad was less than 50 miles away they couldn't step in to help. And then kishimoto expects the audience to believe that the hidden leaf lost 50% of its shinobi. Kakashi was chilling fighting kabuto, might guy was fighting no named anbu who he took out with 1 hit, he couldn't be sent instead of naruto and two genin, to fight against gaara

@mystery man Mihawk hasn't cared to fight Shanks for the current story. Shanks offered to fight when the two saw each other face to face during Jaya, and Mihawk said he's not interested in fighting a one-armed man. As far as we know, they still haven't fought since As far as the title thing goes it's me following a simple logic: if Shanks beat Mihawk the last time they fought, Shanks would have the title. The best assumption is that their last duel was a tie and the worst case scenario is that Mihawk won because otherwise Shanks would be the World's Greatest Swordsman. Shanks obviously showed more impressive feats throughout the entire story but regardless he doesn't have the title since they last fought. Banshoman is not over Goku. His strongest feat in the manga hardly scales to basic universal level. He got some neato hax, but people matching up Goku against him forgets how Hax works in Dragonball when they're used on Stronger opponents, to say, they dont. Some like to make the claim that Shinra is God, which No, he is not, he isnt even relative to a Simple "God of Destruction" which also does not really qualify for a true God either, even by DB standards, its just a title. To add a little extra information, Banshoman is a fusion, not just Shinra. If we were playing "Fair" we would make it go from a stomp to curbstomp by comparing him to Vegito or something along those lines.

Vegito, due to being physically/Ki wise stronger than Buuhan, was unaffected by the candy beams Imobilizing effect, and was still just as much in control, and just as strong, despite being a candy on a molecular level. Goku being hit by Hakai, which is existence erasure in Ki form, Managed to withstand it due to being stronger than the God of Destruction that it came from. Hit's stopped-time pocket isnt a "Hax" ability, Jiren breaking out of the time-pocket dimension of stopped time is a speed feat, if it was a Hack, he wouldnt have been restrained for the first few seconds, since it wouldnt have been able to affect him in a way that it intended to. It's more in line with stuff like a Ki blast. If you're physically stronger than the Ki blast hitting you, you'll tank it if your durability surpasses the Attack Potency of the attack hitting you, if you're faster than stopped time, you'll be able to break out of it, also knowing that Jiren was not even at full power yet at this point, is evidence that he wouldnt have broken out of it instantly, since he had to power up a little to become fast enough to do so. It's consistent throughout the series. There's no Plot armor to it, its a consistent passive ability that stays true throughout all the universes we've seen so far in the DB Multiverse, since DBZ. We cant just exclude actual abilities just because it would be Less fun for the fictional matchup of 2 different characters from 2 different series. Like Giorno with GER. Giorno himself isnt even city level, even with the stands physical abilities, yet with his hacks, he can beat a ton of anything between Planetary to Universal level opponents, simply due to them lacking this DB passive ability of Hack resistance based on power. Giorno matchups wouldnt be fun if we said "Since he isnt even city level, his hacks should not be able to have an effect on Naruto". Abilities are abilities, and none will be excluded in a VS debate. If a character does not have chakra, Genjutsu abilities from a Naruto character wont affect them. Its all based on which 2 characters are fighting.
@@kamixakadio2441 it is plot armour. If an ability gets countered, there has to be a proper explanation to it rather than "he just got stronger". Considering that an actual ability is like saying that Natsu from fairy tail has the passive ability to power up through power of friendship every time he is about to loose. It doesn't work that way. Not a single character in the series will name this as a separate ability or somehow rely on it. Am example of an actual passive from DBZ would for example be the Saiyans ability to power up when they survive after being on the brink of death (forgot what it was called). It is properly explained and was even used as a tactic at some point. The hax resistance on the other hand is just a magical safe card that pops up anytime a character that is important to the plot is about to be defeated by a hax ability. Also, it is pretty common that some traits of the world of a character gets left out for the sake of the debate. Otherwise bleach characters would solo 99% of anime verses because you can't see or interact with shinigamis without reatsu while they can still interact with you, so there would be next no characters who would be able to fight back vs bleach characters.
@2_e28k Hit vs Goku disproves your whole statement. That whole fight was about who would power up faster. Goku kept overpowering Hits time break every time it seemed like Hit finally got the advantage. We see this happening mainly to plot important characters. Even after Goku overpowered Hits time break, Hit could still keep up with Goku so the power difference wasnt big. Also an example of why this "passive" is inconsistent is Killin and Gohan VS Guldo in the namek Saga of dbz. They were clearly stronger than him but they did not overpower his timestop. So yea, this is an asspull just like Natsus power of friendship.
Paper Mario isn’t mainline Mario. Comfirmed from the entirety of the 5th Mario and Luigi game. But the fight between Sonic and Mario is DEFINITELY a conversation. Since the White Tanookie Suit is infinite it’s gonna be hard for even Super/Hyper Sonic to harm him since they’re both invincible. But the fact that Sonic’s forms are time limited really puts him at a disadvantage. Especially if you want to have Comic Book Sonic vs Paper Mario. That’s just a straight nonsensical brawl when you think about their feats.
Imo in the shanks vs mihawk debate, mihawk is the superior swordsman, like there is no debating that, he holds the title for to it and has been was rival with shanks in swordsmanship when shanks had his sword arm, but when it comes to who is stronger honestly both of them we don't have much to work with since both of them don't have much screentime but shanks does have conqueres haki, were as mihawk i am pretty sure doesn't have conqueres, so it could be debates that shanks does have the upper hand due to conqueres but i would wait for me to make my conclusion

Wait wait wait, they did build on shikamaru's character in the arc of him avenging his sensei. So i dont understand why they didnt build on the other characters. Than on the war arc we coudve had some badass fights instwad of naruto saving everyone again. Neji death couldve expanded more, madara shoudve been the final villian wouldn't mind if he absorbed kaguya and learned the uchiha stone tablets secret with his sharigans special ability that they hinted on having to do with time. Obtained a new form with kaguya like powers and boom god like madara vs the hockake and team 7. Which they probably have to seal him.and ends with the final battle of sasuke vs naruto. And caps with naruto married and becoming hockage. Which next goes to boruto that leads to the otsutsuki clan trying to find kaguya. 1. Side characters/clans getting more screen time 2. Better ending for madara 3. Better ending to cap off naruto's journey.

Also Monika from DDLC, if you’d make the argument that she can only code the DDLC universe which is a fair argument, but she does not have an existence outside of DDLC (Other games) which means she is DDLC. She can easily code the fabric of reality to erase the concept of anime. She also survived being erased. If you put her character into the recycling bin on your PC, and empty it. Reload the game, she survived, sang a song, and generated a piano to play on. Flumpty actually has more powers than Monika, and Saiki. To be honest Flumpty I’d able to most likely solo all of video games (With a few exceptions) He has a huge list of powers, also he has presence beyond the fourth wall. In the dreams of the creator (Jonochrom) However, Monika AND Flumpty, solo. Monika has infinite AP, since she was able to erase Yuri and Natsuki, without a trace left behind. And created an entirely new universe, bending and transcending reality, time and space. Flumpty literally states “Hi! I’m flumpty, I’m an egg, I’m immune to the plot and can transcend time and space! Also I’m coming after you, you can figure out the rest, have fun!”
If count Touhou in, Mario would most likely not have a chance to beat all Characters in this Universe. Reimu alone uses Abilities, that can put Mario in his place. The highest Mario could defeat might be Stage 4 Bosses. But even if, even some lower Stage Bosses might potentially nerf their own Power due to the Spellcard Rule System. Basically a Rule for all Challengers of Danmaku to only use powerful and meaningful attacks, but also not impossible to Dodge. Okina for example uses the ability to close the door on the back of their opponents, making them completly weak. If Mario tries to get on Okina, he will most likely lose all his power ups and strenghts by just the door on his back to close.

One complaint i have in naruto is how powerful naruto was through the series, during the chuuin exams naruto was taking our gaara the strongest sand shinobi at the time.
While the previous generation of the ino shika cho was dealing with random no named sound anbu, while naruto was fighting gaara asuma and shinos dad was less than 50 miles away they couldn't step in to help. And then kishimoto expects the audience to believe that the hidden leaf lost 50% of its shinobi.
Kakashi was chilling fighting kabuto, might guy was fighting no named anbu who he took out with 1 hit, he couldn't be sent instead of naruto and two genin, to fight against gaara

As far as the title thing goes it's me following a simple logic: if Shanks beat Mihawk the last time they fought, Shanks would have the title. The best assumption is that their last duel was a tie and the worst case scenario is that Mihawk won because otherwise Shanks would be the World's Greatest Swordsman. Shanks obviously showed more impressive feats throughout the entire story but regardless he doesn't have the title since they last fought. I don't even think Mihawk is stronger than Shanks as it doesn't make any sense with what the story shows, I was just explaining that Shanks couldn't have beat Mihawk in their last fight (which probably happened a long time ago) otherwise he would be the World's Greatest

Banshoman is not over Goku. His strongest feat in the manga hardly scales to basic universal level.
He got some neato hax, but people matching up Goku against him forgets how Hax works in Dragonball when they're used on Stronger opponents, to say, they dont. Some like to make the claim that Shinra is God, which No, he is not, he isnt even relative to a Simple "God of Destruction" which also does not really qualify for a true God either, even by DB standards, its just a title. To add a little extra information, Banshoman is a fusion, not just Shinra. If we were playing "Fair" we would make it go from a stomp to curbstomp by comparing him to Vegito or something along those lines.

Vegito, due to being physically/Ki wise stronger than Buuhan, was unaffected by the candy beams Imobilizing effect, and was still just as much in control, and just as strong, despite being a candy on a molecular level. Goku being hit by Hakai, which is existence erasure in Ki form, Managed to withstand it due to being stronger than the God of Destruction that it came from. Hit's stopped-time pocket isnt a "Hax" ability, Jiren breaking out of the time-pocket dimension of stopped time is a speed feat, if it was a Hack, he wouldnt have been restrained for the first few seconds, since it wouldnt have been able to affect him in a way that it intended to. It's more in line with stuff like a Ki blast. If you're physically stronger than the Ki blast hitting you, you'll tank it if your durability surpasses the Attack Potency of the attack hitting you, if you're faster than stopped time, you'll be able to break out of it, also knowing that Jiren was not even at full power yet at this point, is evidence that he wouldnt have broken out of it instantly, since he had to power up a little to become fast enough to do so. It's consistent throughout the series. There's no Plot armor to it, its a consistent passive ability that stays true throughout all the universes we've seen so far in the DB Multiverse, since DBZ. We cant just exclude actual abilities just because it would be Less fun for the fictional matchup of 2 different characters from 2 different series. Like Giorno with GER. Giorno himself isnt even city level, even with the stands physical abilities, yet with his hacks, he can beat a ton of anything between Planetary to Universal level opponents, simply due to them lacking this DB passive ability of Hack resistance based on power. Giorno matchups wouldnt be fun if we said "Since he isnt even city level, his hacks should not be able to have an effect on Naruto". Abilities are abilities, and none will be excluded in a VS debate. If a character does not have chakra, Genjutsu abilities from a Naruto character wont affect them. Its all based on which 2 characters are fighting.
@@kamixakadio2441 it is plot armour. If an ability gets countered, there has to be a proper explanation to it rather than "he just got stronger". Considering that an actual ability is like saying that Natsu from fairy tail has the passive ability to power up through power of friendship every time he is about to loose. It doesn't work that way. Not a single character in the series will name this as a separate ability or somehow rely on it. Am example of an actual passive from DBZ would for example be the Saiyans ability to power up when they survive after being on the brink of death (forgot what it was called). It is properly explained and was even used as a tactic at some point. The hax resistance on the other hand is just a magical safe card that pops up anytime a character that is important to the plot is about to be defeated by a hax ability. Also, it is pretty common that some traits of the world of a character gets left out for the sake of the debate. Otherwise bleach characters would solo 99% of anime verses because you can't see or interact with shinigamis without reatsu while they can still interact with you, so there would be next no characters who would be able to fight back vs bleach characters.
@2_e28k Hit vs Goku disproves your whole statement. That whole fight was about who would power up faster. Goku kept overpowering Hits time break every time it seemed like Hit finally got the advantage. We see this happening mainly to plot important characters. Even after Goku overpowered Hits time break, Hit could still keep up with Goku so the power difference wasnt big. Also an example of why this "passive" is inconsistent is Killin and Gohan VS Guldo in the namek Saga of dbz. They were clearly stronger than him but they did not overpower his timestop. So yea, this is an asspull just like Natsus power of friendship.

Paper Mario isn’t mainline Mario. Comfirmed from the entirety of the 5th Mario and Luigi game.
But the fight between Sonic and Mario is DEFINITELY a conversation. Since the White Tanookie Suit is infinite it’s gonna be hard for even Super/Hyper Sonic to harm him since they’re both invincible. But the fact that Sonic’s forms are time limited really puts him at a disadvantage.
Especially if you want to have Comic Book Sonic vs Paper Mario. That’s just a straight nonsensical brawl when you think about their feats.

Wait wait wait, they did build on shikamaru's character in the arc of him avenging his sensei. So i dont understand why they didnt build on the other characters. Than on the war arc we coudve had some badass fights instwad of naruto saving everyone again. Neji death couldve expanded more, madara shoudve been the final villian wouldn't mind if he absorbed kaguya and learned the uchiha stone tablets secret with his sharigans special ability that they hinted on having to do with time. Obtained a new form with kaguya like powers and boom god like madara vs the hockake and team 7. Which they probably have to seal him.and ends with the final battle of sasuke vs naruto. And caps with naruto married and becoming hockage. Which next goes to boruto that leads to the otsutsuki clan trying to find kaguya.

To be honest Flumpty I’d able to most likely solo all of video games (With a few exceptions) He has a huge list of powers, also he has presence beyond the fourth wall. In the dreams of the creator (Jonochrom) However, Monika AND Flumpty, solo. Monika has infinite AP, since she was able to erase Yuri and Natsuki, without a trace left behind. The highest Mario could defeat might be Stage 4 Bosses. But even if, even some lower Stage Bosses might potentially nerf their own Power due to the Spellcard Rule System. Basically a Rule for all Challengers of Danmaku to only use powerful and meaningful attacks, but also not impossible to Dodge.
Okina for example uses the ability to close the door on the back of their opponents, making them completly weak.
If Mario tries to get on Okina, he will most likely lose all his power ups and strenghts by just the door on his back to close.
