Love my 12.4
Love my 30” 12.9 revo but I had to get rid of that Victory tip. Glazed over wayyyy too fast. Switched to the Kamui athlete and it’s about the best tip for a CF shaft I’ve found. Great content as always Brian, keep up the good work!

I have really considered getting a torrified maple shaft. Just because I am against the gloves and carbon. Always keep a sack of hand chalk in my cue bag. The looks are priceless. Someone walks by and notices a fine dust all over the table😅😅😅
I still have the poker channel, but I had some other projects that took priority, so I haven’t made a lot of new post recently FXBilliards has a new MasterClass coming out in two weeks

Hey Brian. I’m looking at getting the Revo break shaft. Would it be okay to throw it on a p3 butt to save from buying the bkrush full cue?
There are characteristics of the BK rush butt, that might improve your break. But you could put that shaft on her P3
Do you adjust the weight in your cue butt forward/back? I left mine in the center for now but I also like my teammate's back weighted cue
I almost never adjust the weight because I play with 19 ounce which is the default weight for most high-end cues. But if I did adjust it, it would be in the back.
@@FXBilliards Thanks for answering! Yes, I meant if you would move the internal weights forward or backward within the butt. I also keep my cue at 19oz but I know the internal weights can be moved to adjust the balance of the cue.
I have a opportunity to buy a "used" Becue Prime, either12mm or 12.5mm for 300.00 ea, uniloc joints, that would fit my Lucasi Or a Revo 12.4 5/16x18 that would fit my Purex for 400.00 Wanting to try carbon just because, beginner but determined to improve. What you think? Thank you.
Since I’m all predator all the time I would go with the Revo and that $400 shaft is going to hold his value much better in the long run.
where did you see revo shafts available for 30 inch?
Predator sells them on their site but they might be out of stock.
Is there a way to try out these cues and give back if you don't like it. Or do you have to purchase and just be stuck with it imor try and sell it if you don't like it. I am split between this revo or a cue tech. I have not been able to try either. I have never use MD carbon fiber shaft.
I know Ozone Billiards offers 30 day return to allow you to try a cue. They have always given me good service. Hard to find Predator equipment in stock to try out at a local billiard shop in some places, but I have been able to demo Cuetec equipment in a local shop, and markup wasn't significant. Plus they can usually do a tip swap for you on the spot or with short turnaround. Also, at major tournaments (APA or BCA) they often have vendors there that will let you try out equipment. Hope this helps.
I think it would differ from retail to retailer, but if you walked in a place and told them you wanted to take some shots with one I don’t think it would be a problem. The issue is once you chalk up a cue even one time it becomes used.
I believe Pooldawg has a return policy if you don’t like it.
the upside to the CF cues is their resale is very strong. You could buy one, play for a year, and get back 95% of your money. Trying them is tough, though, as Brian said they don't let you chalk them when you try out a cue unless they have floor models for testing. Basically means you don't get to test the LD properties as you'll miscue anything but a center ball hit

You can break with anything you like.You might not get the best results. And you might lose a tip on the cue you wish to play with...but you can break with it. Soft 11.7mm is not the best option for breaking hard but a know a ton of "old school" pros who show up with one cue in their bag and break with their playing cue.
