Hi there from the UK. I enjoy your videos. Thank you. I had a similar power steering leak and after much pain it turns out to be from where the reseviour feeds the pump. The bit where the tube comes apart about half way up. I had had it apart previously and when I refitted it it wasn't all the way home in its seal. I spent a lot of time searching around the pump itself not realising this was the issue. Maybe yours is the same especially as I suspect you have removed yours before also? Hope this helps you. I was very interested in your quick jack set up as I have to remove my gearbox next to tackle the RMS so thanks for that.
Thanks for the tip. I suspect that as well. There's a collar AND oring that goes there. The collar seems fine but I think the oring needs to be chunky so they mate with a loud "clunk". I bought a whole other set of orings and used a thicker one. I'm trying to figure out a way of testing it before putting it back in the car. Thanks for watching!
You think if you weld a longer platform plate on the motorcycle jack you can lower the engine and transmission with just the one jack?
That's a great question. I would be concerned with balance issues. Unless you put some casters on the extension it might tip.
