They moved to Tolyatti then when the famous Igor Krutoy gifted Diana a Moscow flat, they now live there. Oxi.. q vídeo é esse? Ce ta chocado com essa voz, mano? Eu to achando normalzão rsrs. Talvez por eu "dublar" a minha voz e por ser contralto, qlq contralto faz esses nuances, ainda mais um lírico disfarçado como esse kkk tem nada de chocante. Particularmente eu não gosto, ainda que o grave seja confortável pra mim, quanto mais grave a nota mais suave eu gosto de fazer para não perder a feminilidade. Essa cantora aí me lembrou a cantora Cher que encorpava mais a voz masculina em algumas de suas músicas. Mas claro, isso é questão de gosto. Se vc gostou ta tudo bem 😉👍

Diana era sua única filha após 12 gestações fracassadas, você pensaria que ela a teria amado? Sua nova mãe adotiva, Irina, trabalhava no orfanato e a filha de Irina disse que se Irina não adotasse Diana, ela O faria quando tivesse idade suficiente! :) ASSIM Irina a adotou em 5 anos. Diana mal conseguia falar, então eles a levaram a um fonoaudiólogo que descobriu que Diana tinha uma ótima voz para cantar - o resto é história. Greetings from Scotland! This is 15yo Diana singing in an amazing Russian project "You are Super" for abandoned/disadvantaged children because Diana spent some years in an orphanage when she was 3yo.
She is a natural dramatic contralto (so VERY low) which is rare in females but exceptionally rare in someone so young!
Diana was born way over in the far eastern side of Russian in Arsenyev, 160 km northeast of Vladivostok.

Diana's birth mum beat her badly, broke her collarbone and tried to drown her, then threw her out in the cold - at 3yo!!
Diana was her only child after 12 failed pregnancies, you would think she would have loved her? A passing relative took Diana to an orphanage because they thought she was retarded (she cried continuously - not surprisingly!)
Her new foster mum Irina worked at the orphanage and Irina's daughter said that if Irina didn't adopt Diana then she WOULD when she was old enough! :) SO Irina adopted her at 5yo. Diana could barely speak so they took her to a voice therapist who discovered Diana had a great singing voice - the rest is history. Irina and her family are immensely proud of her of course and Diana loves them. They had to leave Arsenyev (way over in the far east of Russia) to escape Diana's horrible birth mum who would not stop being horrible to her. They moved to Tolyatti then when the famous Igor Krutoy gifted Diana a Moscow flat, they now live there. It makes it easier for her to study at GITIS International, the largest and oldest theatrical State Institution in Russia. She is an inspiration to us all.
Not only has Diana survived this evil, she has excelled and thrived. Some story eh? When I have a bad day I think of Diana's story and how lucky I am.

Diana was born in May 2003 in Arseniev in the Far East of Russia. She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to her had 12 pregnancies, only Diana survived ... and she did not love her child, abused her cruelly and tried to I drowned. During 2008 to 2012 Diana sang around 40 songs, including at competitions.
Diana's mother became her daughter's manager. Everything that has to do with Diana's singing training, performances, competitions, looking for sponsors is organized and coordinated by her mother Irina Ponik. She took extra sewing courses too. Since then, she's been sewing all of Diana's stage costumes, because all of these things consume the family budget. She accompanies her daughter on trips and captures her life in photos and videos with the persistence of a visionary.
After winning a competition in Moscow, Diana's mother was offered to leave the girl in a boarding school for gifted children. She refused and in 2012 her family moved to her hometown of Toglyatti, much closer to Moscow. Diana lost her fear that the woman who gave birth to her would kidnap her.
Diana's voice, her perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm were extraordinary even as a little girl and so she impressed with her talent in over 50 national and international competitions. Her confidence grew, her voice continued to develop ... until one day she was asked to compete in more distant competitions so that other children could have a chance to win.
In 2017 she went to Moscow, at the Russian 'The Voice Kids'. Next day, a huge scandal broke out in social medias. People demanded for Diana's participation in the competition.
A door had closed but a new door opened:
In 2018/19, Moscow hosted the 3rd season of a unique international competition instead of "You are Super", especially for adopted and orphaned children. The winner of the season (Diana) will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to RUclips and soon she had millions of fans.
Diana won also a scholarship to the College of Music. Igor Krutoy gifted her a small apartment in Moscow. So, she could start her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskoy (She died of Covid-19 in October 2020).
The break of voice made Diana’s voice even darker and deeper. She has mastered this time very professionally and has worked hard to bring back the lost high notes and has expanded her vocal range, currently from C3 to D6. Her genres are folk-rock, folk-pop, jazz, soul, blues, soldier songs and Diana-stile… tradition meets modernity.
She loves to sing in French, but also sings in English, German, Arabic and Spanish... but only phonetically.
But she is not only a great singer and storyteller, but also a humble, intelligent and hardworking young woman. She also gives charity concerts. She loves her family and her fans. They are 'friends' to her and they are very supportive of her. Diana is grateful that they helped improve her home studio and also supported her future plans. 2020 Diana graduated from high school a year earlier, as an external student and now, she is a student at the Russian Institute of Theater Arts (similar to Juilliard). She is already composing songs and we will definitely hear her own song soon.
She will only take part in major competitions if invited. Such competitions require a lot of time, effort and strength. Oxi.. q vídeo é esse? Ce ta chocado com essa voz, mano? Eu to achando normalzão rsrs. Talvez por eu "dublar" a minha voz e por ser contralto, qlq contralto faz esses nuances, ainda mais um lírico disfarçado como esse kkk tem nada de chocante. Particularmente eu não gosto, ainda que o grave seja confortável pra mim, quanto mais grave a nota mais suave eu gosto de fazer para não perder a feminilidade. Essa cantora aí me lembrou a cantora Cher que encorpava mais a voz masculina em algumas de suas músicas. Mas claro, isso é questão de gosto. Se vc gostou ta tudo bem 😉👍
