The shoulder rest compartment is awful. You should move the violin down into that space and leave room for the shoulder rest beside the neck of the violin instead. Most of my students use bonmusica shoulder rests. One uses the Slipper rest. One uses Comford. None of those will fit in this poorly designed shoulder rest compartment. So disappointing. I could sell this to so many students if it actually fit their shoulder rests.
that shoulder rest is particularly big, it's so comfy, tho.. kinda! I've considered instead wearing the Bam backpack with this case, but it would certainly be an experiment I want to change a hightech bam case to this Jakob winter because Bam's is awfully weightful, and this one is only 1/4 the weight, but then the shoulder, it still needs an external bag, lol
