Thanks a lot for this video. I have been looking for a case that stay a bit higher to carry by bike. I have a child´s chair on the back on my bike so it doesn´t fit a violin case on my back, but theorethically, these cases from Gewa would be high enough. Do you have any experience or feedback from customers about riding a bike with these cases?

Good question! We haven't had too many musicians asking us about violin cases for bike rides, so we don't have the best answer. But theoretically, yes. They were designed for sitting down. So imagine sitting in subways, busses, etc. The case would be higher on your back, so it would be more behind your head. Theoretically, that should work better for bike riding as well. This video by Gewa also has a few shots of musicians carrying the case on their backs: ruclips.net/video/Wot_uYKVGu8/видео.html

Great question. You don't want to pull it. It slide to one side (I believe it's the handle side). So try sliding the sheet music pouch toward the handle. The button will slide towards a wider opening, and you'll be able to remove the pouch.

These cases are advertised as fitting 3/4 violins. In practice, how secure is a 3/4 violin within it? Does it offer much protection for a 3/4?

The neck strap is adjustable. So it'll adjust to hold the 3/4 violin at the neck and the bottom bout. Many new & modern cases have been featuring a minimal design. So the case doesn't touch the violin much. Only secures the violin at the neck and bottom bout. So a 3/4 and 4/4 violin are equally secure in this case.

These cases are they weather resistant in the fact if this case was left in a hot car for a long period of time would the fiddle still come out without any heat damage........
