- Today we pulled the most OG skateboards we could find or have been sent. Can you believe this was what people had back in the day to skate on?? It definitely made me appreciate where we have come in this sport.

Penny Board, or a crusier board of similar size. Lords of Dogtown heavily inspired me to get one, and to this day I have never regretted it. That down low, carving surfer style is an amazing feeling, and to think THAT'S where it all started is just insane.
Or you could just make your own lol. Tons of tutorials on here (good ones too!)

SUPER SMASH BOARDS
The concept:
Super Smash Bros. On the Nintendo Consoles have been a staple of video game history since it’s inception. Take the very best of Nintendo’s roster and put them head to head in a ultimate smash battle.
For this game, SUPER SMASH BOARDS, the very best of Braille will be put up in a 4 way battle for ultimate supremacy.
How to play:
4 skaters will enter the arena and prepare for battle. This game can be either be played flat ground or full park.
Gabe, or announcer, will call out a trick and all 4 players at the same time must try and land the trick. (Might be a little hard to film but chaos is fun)
The LAST person who lands the trick will receive a 50% damage hit. Because they have received damage, the rest of the players are allowed to attack him with water guns, color powder, flour, etc.
The extra damage on the last player who landed the pervious trick will make it harder for them to continue landing the next tricks.
This continues and and the person to receive a 200% damage counter (each missed trick results in an additional 50% damage and more stuff thrown on them) is out of the game, essentially “player defeated”
LAST SKATER LEFT STANDING IS THE SUPER SMASH BOARDS CHAMPION!! Winner of the golden Fork.
Hope to see this played but we’ll see.

Aaron. I know you're around my age or older. Im 34. When i was 5 it was bumpers and banana boards. By 1998 (i was around 13) you had to have the symetrical board or you were laughed at. The evolution of boards and styles has been insanely awesome to watch from the 90s on. Gotta say I dig your guys vids because they remind me of a simpler time in my life. Great to see you got to create your own career working with what you love and live the dream man. Cheers to all you guys. And as sick as most you guys are skating(nigel is insane. Beachballs sometimes) ... I think Carlos in one of the best natural skaters i have seen and he makes it all look easy even when doing HUUUUUGE and technical tricks. Keep doing what you do boys and ride it hard for as long as you can. Original content like this is what made youtube great.

Last time I was on a board I was 19, I'm 32 now and you guys inspired me to get back into it. I don't know how long it will take me but I plan to work my way up to shredding mini ramps. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have a 1989 Rob Roskop board with the huge eyeball staring at you on the bottom. He even signed it. Old schools Indy trucks and some fat old wheels with 30 year old bearings. Its just around 10 inch wide and all the little groms from the skatepark always want to ride it and try to kickflip it.
Appreciated man............ I am looking out something more crazy like underwater skateboarding and all that stuff............... 🙂🙂

Had the FreeFormer when I was a kid! Got a chuckle out of the copers. We used to make ours out of pvc pipe. It would slide better than the store bought ones.

I have 3 skateboards from the 60's. One of them has metal wheels like that penny board. They are definitely older than most of the boards you showed here

Omg, I can't believe I'm seeing that board again. That yellow free former is quite literally the first board I ever had (i called it "the banana board" I guess cuz it was yellow) in 1988 I was 8 yrs old and my mom got it and a 70s huffy thunder board from a garage sale. I never really got into it, I was terrified of that thing and I broke the tail off the thunder board sticking it under the edge of brick steps on front porch to do wheelies and busted my head open covering the porch with blood, had to get stitches in my head. Didnt pick a board back up til I was 14 using my brothers hand me down sal barrier h street. From then I was hooked.
