I laughed so hard at all of your inserted photos of what these ridiculous Channel runway looks reminded you of. You really hit the mark! I, myself, could not look at these outfits without being taken right back to nursing school, where we had to wear white stockings under our knee length uniforms. I have an older, frumpy friend who went to church last week wearing a shapeless, below the knee dress with socks and combat-type boots. My first thought was that her outfit looked hideous, and my second thought was that, if she was tall, skinny, 18 years old, and on a runway, people would pay thousands for that outfit. Aren't we human beings silly?!
