This is the hardest i have heared him sing this song, so much pain, ego and couage. So bold, his eyes and facial expressions are telling really deep thoughts that the lyrics are shadowing. I dont mind him replacing Lisa- she was perfect there is no denying that-but the lovely ladies did the job as well. Perfect preformance.

One of the things about him besides his amazing vocals and guitar skills is the way he emotes. Every ounce of what he is feeling, he shows in plain sight for all to see. That's a true artist. He can make us feel his emotions.
I think a perfect version of this song would be an amalgamation of this version and the version with Lisa at BBC. I prefer his vocals without the added effects but liked the intensity of Lisa's vocals as well as the inclusion of more instruments in the other version. Vocally I think he's gotten better with time and have loved the Korea 2012 concert and other live versions where he's by himself. I don't know if I've ever heard a singer who basically straight up yelled as part of the song and it sounded so good.
agreed; whenever he yells parts of the song, holy shit. the genuine emotion that comes out from him negates any of the typical annoyance id have with other artists for yelling their lyrics. i just want to yell along.
