Wealth is something differe t than most think... wealth is 't financial... it's based on assets bought via finances... finances can be seized and frozen, assets (unimpeachable ones) are what you need... (gold bars can't be located, frozen or otherwise seized) Highly expensive liquor appreciates in value and doesn't expire... art increases in value... etc. Just a few ideas
@@KEPSAGAMER Gold isn't edible so can plummet in value if there's nothing to eat. The storage casings of liquor can be damaged in say an earthquake causing everything to leak out. Nothing on earth is truly secure, and the more security you want, the more it's going to cost, a vicious thief of time and resources that likes to visit regularly.

I worked in the office of a trucking company. One of my drivers was an older black gentleman who was a pastor of a small "church". they rented a room in a school I think for a small amount each week. Curious, I asked him why he drove truck. He said "So I am not a burden to my people". His focus was on helping others like a true shepherd.
My father “tithed” to a checking account he maintained for gifting to those in need. He told me once that a church will let its neighbors starve. He also told me to never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. When you gift, you gift in secret so that it can be a blessing. Amen. Great message brother…
I heard on RUclips that most of the support people in hurricane areas were getting were coming through churches. Certainly not the government. I think sometimes they do come through for us, and we need to pray for all the churches to remain in the light.
People like to tell me that I’m sinning because I don’t go to a church every Sunday. ( the ones I’ve visited are worldly , coffee bars , gift shops and crazy loud music that I don’t know) and they tell me that I must tithe money to the church. Well, I studied what tithe was in the Bible. Step by step and in Hebrew culture and it’s not what people today think it is. I’m taking care of my disabled adult son right now. My credit is ruined and maxed out because of it. God is providing for us and I am so thankful for that. God is my priority and then my son who can’t take care of himself right now. I’m making a lot of sacrifices to make sure my son is cared for and I pray for other people. I appreciate your messages.
Thank you for taking care of your family. I just finished 7 years of caring for my mom with Alzheimer's until she passed away. I did have to get help after it became too expensive to do it at home. So many people don't even try and just outsource it. It breaks my heart.
I've taken care of adults with developmental/physical disabilities, I did that for about 7 years. I know a bit about what you must be doing for your son. It can be a hard job at times but worth it especially for your own kin. I left a church because of the way the church was run. Always having pagan stuff in the church like Easter egg hunts and trunk or treat. Every time you turned around they were having a bounce house carnival in the parking lot. What did it for me was 2 things...they chose to sing modern worship songs put out by bethel music which is affiliated with bethel Church in Redding California, that church there is known for promoting certain witchcraft disguised as Christianity. Angel cards, grave soaking, gold dust and feathers falling from their ceiling. If anyone can recall a few years ago there was a big to do in the media especially social media where a parishioner of that church had a daughter that died and they refused to bury her for days if not weeks if not longer than weeks because they were claiming that God was going to raise her from the dead and all it did was turn people against Christianity and calling Christians crazy. And when Churches choose to buy the worship packages I'm sure that money goes back to the church they created it which is bethel which does false teachings. The second reason I left the church I was at was when the pastor was sick or out of town he had us watch a video of a mentor pastor out of Texas by the name of Robert Morris, and if you recall I've heard any Christian news regarding him he had to resign from his mega church because it came out that he sexually abused a teenager years ago and as an adult that girl came forward and said that he did that. Well anyways the video that he played for us while he was sick and couldn't be there at the church was a video of Robert Morris and it was his teaching on the spiritual gifts and speaking in tongues, and it was basically saying you could teach yourself how to speak it and I already knew I already knew that that was false and that did it for me those two things bad worship music with ties to a false church and being forced so to speak to watch content that is not scripturally sound I got the heck out of there. It's okay if you haven't found a church yet just keep walking that path as a Christian and don't ever give up The Lord hasn't given up on you. I still haven't found myself a home church and I watch video content on RUclips that has sound doctrine/ teachings.
I've read the Book of Job so I don't trust God to set me up with my daily bread or things or a good life. That's simply not what God does and he tells Job this very clearly. God becomes quite annoyed with Job for thinking he is some kind of special worth being saved. And then God starts listing all of the things he has created so that Jobs understands that he is unsignificant in the bigger picture. God tells Job "Gird up your loins like a man". My life is my life and I have to do my best with it. If i die of starvation so be it. Accepting that reality is what the Book of Job teaches us. And it is probably the oldest and most significant book in the Old Testament.
@MartinMunthe I don't think that that is who God is. Now I can go back and read Job again. But God isn't one to abandon us or put us down like that. It could be very possible that Job was being prideful or arrogant, and God had to tone Job down some. I trust God, I've found myself in rough places, and I couldn't have gotten through it without him. God is always loving and caring, and kind. He does bless you with a good life, maybe not in the form of a ton of money and luxury in some cases. I hope that you put your trust in God again. God bless you.
Oh, you have no idea how you feed our souls! We live in very rural western Kentucky and good luck finding a church. The church is around here, predominantly Baptist, are nothing more than social clubs. We have tried many and have yet to find one that actually feeds people, feeds the flock. And that’s how my husband and I give. We give privately to those in need and we are blessed so much more than the people we help. The joy that fills our hearts, knowing that we have helped fellow souls in need and hopefully people will see Christ in us and want Him in them as well. I don’t comment on all of the teachings we listen to but they have all been blessings. And the other thing I’m grateful for is my husband has Alzheimer’s and he reads the Bible to us each morning, but he loves to listen to you. You speak to him despite his difficulties with his mind like you wouldn’t believe. You and your wife have blessed our household abundantly thank you and God bless you both.
My uncle couldnt afford to tithe sometimes, but he gave the church and its community his time. He landscaped, he fed people, he fixed cars, and that was his tithe. Not having money to give is okay, but your ability to give is not yet exhausted.

The most important thing my dad ever taught me was the last time I ever saw him. For all the reaching and grabbing, callous running over folks he did to bootstrap from dirt floors to a fair bit of success, when I looked at him laying in that casket he wasn’t taking a damn thing with him. For the cost of our raising, there wasn’t much yield beyond what’s in that book you’re holding on your lap. That’s where the treasure is. Keep telling it my mountain brother.
God has put on my heart a vigilance against those who use His Son's name for profit. Even before I came back to Christ, I have always felt that no pastor should have a standard of living that surpasses any of the congregation. The idea that God needs our money seems to be folly... truly, the Almighty is powerful and He can make things happen without our hand. I left the Lord when I was young for this very reason, while my single mother and I struggled for most things, I witnessed pastors remodeling and expanding their homes. I was a fool for my bitterness, but I know that what those pastors were doing was NOT what Jesus had in mind. Thank you, DeWayne. You speak true. May the Lord bless you as you settle in in Kentucky.

One time we built a large hoop house to grow plants under. We used a ton of rope to tie that sucker down and make sure it didn't blow away in the wind. You know what happened? It snowed and the whole thing was smashed to bits. Didn't see that coming! You are making a very good point, we can try to prepare but we never know what will come. Last night I dreamed that I was about to go into a surgery and although the people in the hospital didn't even know what kind of medication they were giving me and seemed clueless, for once in my life, I felt confident in my heart that the Lord was by my side and everything was going to be okay. My hubby&I are recovering addicts, 3yrs sober. I literally was just telling my husband i needed to pray about our future&finances bcuz we've wasted so much time&now have nothing set back for retirement. I opened YT&this was what appeared!! God blessed us with a peach tree in my yard in minnesota. He showed me a lesson. The tree grew so ma y peaches it bent in half. It was crippled under the weight of its own fruit. See, God was showing me that too much fruit can be a burden if you try to keep it all. I agree with everything you said 💯%!

This video strikes a cord with me. I'm a prepper and have prepared for hard times. I have prep for not just myself but also my foolish neighbors. Maybe i'm the fool. One of my neighbors has three little girls. I could never sit here eating knowing they are hungry. I also live a couple of hours from the devastated Appalachian mountains. I have been delivering supplies over to the area and will be returning tomorrow with more. Some of these people have lost everything including their cars and jobs. I realize how blessed I am. I'm not a big church goer but God has always taken care of me. Every time I drop off supplies I think of the rich man who placed the gold coins in the offering plate and then comes the old woman that gave her last coin. I'm not rich but this makes me feel like I could be doing a lot more which I could but I am retired and we live on a budget. I want to help everyone over there but I do realize that's not possible. After watching this video that I feel God has placed before me that I should do more. I have already spent a lot more than I would ever tell my wife. Please pray for me about making the right decision. And pray for these people that have lost everything. I love your videos and your wisdom.

I'm avoiding interacting too much on purpose. He stayed with us a few weeks back in October, but since he went off the deep end, I feel less safe having him around with my young children about. Goal is to get him back to work. He was an apprentice plumber, but scuttled his relationship with his former boss unfortunately...

I would really like to figure out how to give more and to whom but we're in such a financial pickle ourselves, we don't have anything extra to give. Just want to be out of this financial nightmare. But we keep praying and God keeps providing at the last minute. It's so crazy how many times he's helped us in the past year! Always at the last minute! God is real, and good!

I was into giving to the church I used to attend 10-15%Biweekly. I did think I was doing the right thing , now years later it has changed and I stopped giving to the church I used to attend . Now it’s is more to my family and others who do have need ., brings to mind of the Matthew 25.

You are so right about this money issue. Preachers are being paid thousands of dollars, riding around in brand new automobiles, and some either living in church supplied parsonages or very nice homes of their own whilst their members are struggling to make it week to week. The modern church is so far from what it was supposed to be it’s absolutely pitiful!!! Thank you for sharing Truth.

I love Gods word now, and being brought up in the Lutheran church, I learned good basics, saved by grace.. but lots of wrong doctrine.. got saved at 28 and have been learning so much more and lately even more! The Word is so incredible.. God is So incredible! Being sanctified is a journey.. I’m so thankful for continued revelation! Thank you for sharing the word!

I will share an epiphany I had with you Wayne. Forgiveness is the currency of the kingdom of God. Whereas currency here on earth places us in debt to human's will, forgiving people and their debts releases them to do the will of God. Sadly many people will not have fat bank accounts when they get to heaven. So far what I reviewed of your bible talks correlate with my understanding of scripture. Good work faithful servant. A Great Message of truth Duane, and these Church buildings I think are stench in God’s nostrils. He told what and how he desired His temples built in Exodus 20 to Moses in verses 22-26. Churches have too much for show in these days, loosing sight of who God is and as you said where His kingdom is which is in people. Building a building to please people and have them desire to attend and claim status of belonging to misses the mark of God’s desire totally.

I appreciate this. I run work for a large builder in Knoxville and I’m also a general contractor myself. I’ve come up from poor but I do ok now. I give what I can and do what I can in our church. Our church recently leased a commercial building and I am doing the buildout on it to make it a church. I’m charging but less than half of my fee, so I’m essentially giving back to the church quite a bit of money. God will bless me but that’s not why I do it. I’m giving back because I trust that the church will use what I have given to glorify God.

Thank you Dwayne. During the early days after i came to The Lord, I was seduced by that mindset you spoke of, concerning justifying being lazy instead of being responsible. I was fooled by the evil fleshly thoughts like; "If I trust God, i won't have to work to buy food.", " Food stamps is a wonderful blessing from God." , I told my wife. At the time we were struggling badly and we had turned to God but still were wading through bad doctrine. After the revelation of these ideas later being selfish and dishonoring to God, I felt worse than "an infidel" if you get the pun. Since I have started a business and The Lord has surely not ever let me down. Thank you for explaining the Kingdom of God, these videos, no joke Dwayne, always seem as though they fit perfectly with scripture I am pondering on that week, and never fail to edify my faith. The homeless, noble charities, soup kitchens etc need it more than churches, the kingdom of God is not a building its God's people, very well pointed out in this message. Glory to God.

I attend a small non-denominational church that meets on Sunday evenings. The pastor nor any of the staff take a salary. Every dime of the money that comes into the church goes back out in the form of relief and aid. We’ve given several hundred thousand dollars to places like Samariton’s Purse, Convoy of Hope and every January all of the money given to the church goes to the Pregnancy Care Center. Not all churches are money hungry and only want the finest carpets and furnishings. Our pastor has never preached a sermon about “tithing”. He says you should give whatever The Lord lays on your heart to give. And he always says you don’t have to give to our fellowship. He says to give wherever you want but don’t be stingy with what God has given you.
Dwayne, I'm a baby Christian. I was raised in the mormon religion (rely-on-gin) until the age of 16, when I left because of the way I was treated by the believing members. I turn 40 next month, and in the last 2 years my life has turn upside-down and right side up, 3 or 4 times over... I've finally found God, for myself. Wealth is something differe t than most think... wealth is 't financial... it's based on assets bought via finances... finances can be seized and frozen, assets (unimpeachable ones) are what you need... (gold bars can't be located, frozen or otherwise seized)
Highly expensive liquor appreciates in value and doesn't expire... art increases in value... etc. Just a few ideas
@@KEPSAGAMER Gold isn't edible so can plummet in value if there's nothing to eat. The storage casings of liquor can be damaged in say an earthquake causing everything to leak out. Nothing on earth is truly secure, and the more security you want, the more it's going to cost, a vicious thief of time and resources that likes to visit regularly.

I worked in the office of a trucking company. One of my drivers was an older black gentleman who was a pastor of a small "church". they rented a room in a school I think for a small amount each week. Curious, I asked him why he drove truck. He said "So I am not a burden to my people". His focus was on helping others like a true shepherd.
My father “tithed” to a checking account he maintained for gifting to those in need. He told me once that a church will let its neighbors starve. He also told me to never let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. When you gift, you gift in secret so that it can be a blessing. Amen. Great message brother…
I heard on RUclips that most of the support people in hurricane areas were getting were coming through churches. Certainly not the government. I think sometimes they do come through for us, and we need to pray for all the churches to remain in the light.
People like to tell me that I’m sinning because I don’t go to a church every Sunday. ( the ones I’ve visited are worldly , coffee bars , gift shops and crazy loud music that I don’t know) and they tell me that I must tithe money to the church.
Well, I studied what tithe was in the Bible. Step by step and in Hebrew culture and it’s not what people today think it is.
I’m taking care of my disabled adult son right now. My credit is ruined and maxed out because of it. God is providing for us and I am so thankful for that.
God is my priority and then my son who can’t take care of himself right now. I’m making a lot of sacrifices to make sure my son is cared for and I pray for other people.

Thank you for taking care of your family. I just finished 7 years of caring for my mom with Alzheimer's until she passed away. I did have to get help after it became too expensive to do it at home. So many people don't even try and just outsource it. It breaks my heart.
I've taken care of adults with developmental/physical disabilities, I did that for about 7 years. I know a bit about what you must be doing for your son. It can be a hard job at times but worth it especially for your own kin. I left a church because of the way the church was run. Always having pagan stuff in the church like Easter egg hunts and trunk or treat. Every time you turned around they were having a bounce house carnival in the parking lot. What did it for me was 2 things...they chose to sing modern worship songs put out by bethel music which is affiliated with bethel Church in Redding California, that church there is known for promoting certain witchcraft disguised as Christianity. Angel cards, grave soaking, gold dust and feathers falling from their ceiling. If anyone can recall a few years ago there was a big to do in the media especially social media where a parishioner of that church had a daughter that died and they refused to bury her for days if not weeks if not longer than weeks because they were claiming that God was going to raise her from the dead and all it did was turn people against Christianity and calling Christians crazy. And when Churches choose to buy the worship packages I'm sure that money goes back to the church they created it which is bethel which does false teachings. The second reason I left the church I was at was when the pastor was sick or out of town he had us watch a video of a mentor pastor out of Texas by the name of Robert Morris, and if you recall I've heard any Christian news regarding him he had to resign from his mega church because it came out that he sexually abused a teenager years ago and as an adult that girl came forward and said that he did that. Well anyways the video that he played for us while he was sick and couldn't be there at the church was a video of Robert Morris and it was his teaching on the spiritual gifts and speaking in tongues, and it was basically saying you could teach yourself how to speak it and I already knew I already knew that that was false and that did it for me those two things bad worship music with ties to a false church and being forced so to speak to watch content that is not scripturally sound I got the heck out of there. It's okay if you haven't found a church yet just keep walking that path as a Christian and don't ever give up The Lord hasn't given up on you. I still haven't found myself a home church and I watch video content on RUclips that has sound doctrine/ teachings.

I had 50 in savings and 70 in checkings a few weeks back. I wasn't worried because God blesses me with my daily bread.
I've read the Book of Job so I don't trust God to set me up with my daily bread or things or a good life. That's simply not what God does and he tells Job this very clearly. God becomes quite annoyed with Job for thinking he is some kind of special worth being saved. And then God starts listing all of the things he has created so that Jobs understands that he is unsignificant in the bigger picture. God tells Job "Gird up your loins like a man".
My life is my life and I have to do my best with it. If i die of starvation so be it. Accepting that reality is what the Book of Job teaches us. And it is probably the oldest and most significant book in the Old Testament.
@MartinMunthe I don't think that that is who God is. Now I can go back and read Job again. But God isn't one to abandon us or put us down like that. It could be very possible that Job was being prideful or arrogant, and God had to tone Job down some. I trust God, I've found myself in rough places, and I couldn't have gotten through it without him. God is always loving and caring, and kind. He does bless you with a good life, maybe not in the form of a ton of money and luxury in some cases. I hope that you put your trust in God again. God bless you.

Oh, you have no idea how you feed our souls! We live in very rural western Kentucky and good luck finding a church. The church is around here, predominantly Baptist, are nothing more than social clubs. We have tried many and have yet to find one that actually feeds people, feeds the flock. And that’s how my husband and I give. We give privately to those in need and we are blessed so much more than the people we help. The joy that fills our hearts, knowing that we have helped fellow souls in need and hopefully people will see Christ in us and want Him in them as well. I don’t comment on all of the teachings we listen to but they have all been blessings. And the other thing I’m grateful for is my husband has Alzheimer’s and he reads the Bible to us each morning, but he loves to listen to you. You speak to him despite his difficulties with his mind like you wouldn’t believe. You and your wife have blessed our household abundantly thank you and God bless you both.
My uncle couldnt afford to tithe sometimes, but he gave the church and its community his time. He landscaped, he fed people, he fixed cars, and that was his tithe. Not having money to give is okay, but your ability to give is not yet exhausted.

The most important thing my dad ever taught me was the last time I ever saw him. For all the reaching and grabbing, callous running over folks he did to bootstrap from dirt floors to a fair bit of success, when I looked at him laying in that casket he wasn’t taking a damn thing with him. For the cost of our raising, there wasn’t much yield beyond what’s in that book you’re holding on your lap. That’s where the treasure is.

God has put on my heart a vigilance against those who use His Son's name for profit. Even before I came back to Christ, I have always felt that no pastor should have a standard of living that surpasses any of the congregation. The idea that God needs our money seems to be folly... truly, the Almighty is powerful and He can make things happen without our hand. I left the Lord when I was young for this very reason, while my single mother and I struggled for most things, I witnessed pastors remodeling and expanding their homes. I was a fool for my bitterness, but I know that what those pastors were doing was NOT what Jesus had in mind.

One time we built a large hoop house to grow plants under. We used a ton of rope to tie that sucker down and make sure it didn't blow away in the wind. You know what happened? It snowed and the whole thing was smashed to bits. Didn't see that coming! You are making a very good point, we can try to prepare but we never know what will come. Last night I dreamed that I was about to go into a surgery and although the people in the hospital didn't even know what kind of medication they were giving me and seemed clueless, for once in my life, I felt confident in my heart that the Lord was by my side and everything was going to be okay. I must be on the right track. Praise God! Thank you for these videos.
My hubby&I are recovering addicts, 3yrs sober. God blessed us with a peach tree in my yard in minnesota. He showed me a lesson. The tree grew so ma y peaches it bent in half. It was crippled under the weight of its own fruit. See, God was showing me that too much fruit can be a burden if you try to keep it all. I agree with everything you said 💯%!

This video strikes a cord with me. I'm a prepper and have prepared for hard times. I have prep for not just myself but also my foolish neighbors. Maybe i'm the fool. One of my neighbors has three little girls. I could never sit here eating knowing they are hungry.
I also live a couple of hours from the devastated Appalachian mountains. I have been delivering supplies over to the area and will be returning tomorrow with more. Some of these people have lost everything including their cars and jobs. I realize how blessed I am.
I'm not a big church goer but God has always taken care of me. Every time I drop off supplies I think of the rich man who placed the gold coins in the offering plate and then comes the old woman that gave her last coin. I'm not rich but this makes me feel like I could be doing a lot more which I could but I am retired and we live on a budget. I want to help everyone over there but I do realize that's not possible. After watching this video that I feel God has placed before me that I should do more. I have already spent a lot more than I would ever tell my wife. Please pray for me about making the right decision. And pray for these people that have lost everything.

I would really like to figure out how to give more and to whom but we're in such a financial pickle ourselves, we don't have anything extra to give. Just want to be out of this financial nightmare. But we keep praying and God keeps providing at the last minute. It's so crazy how many times he's helped us in the past year! Always at the last minute! God is real, and good!

I was into giving to the church I used to attend 10-15%Biweekly. I did think I was doing the right thing , now years later it has changed and I stopped giving to the church I used to attend . Now it’s is more to my family and others who do have need ., brings to mind of the Matthew 25.
I believe giving is also more then just money. It is also your time and services to others as well in my opinion

You are so right about this money issue. Preachers are being paid thousands of dollars, riding around in brand new automobiles, and some either living in church supplied parsonages or very nice homes of their own whilst their members are struggling to make it week to week. The modern church is so far from what it was supposed to be it’s absolutely pitiful!!! Thank you for sharing Truth.

A Great Message of truth Duane, and these Church buildings I think are stench in God’s nostrils. He told what and how he desired His temples built in Exodus 20 to Moses in verses 22-26. Churches have too much for show in these days, loosing sight of who God is and as you said where His kingdom is which is in people. Building a building to please people and have them desire to attend and claim status of belonging to misses the mark of God’s desire totally.

Man this was a good video! A couple of things I do is 1) a big garden, and I take some to the church and give to members in the community. 2) I love fitness and since I'm a veteran I offer free boot camps for the both youth and families if they want to get fit at the beginning of the season. 3) I previously had the meme coins but I 100% understand what you mean.

I appreciate this. I run work for a large builder in Knoxville and I’m also a general contractor myself. I’ve come up from poor but I do ok now. I give what I can and do what I can in our church. Our church recently leased a commercial building and I am doing the buildout on it to make it a church. I’m charging but less than half of my fee, so I’m essentially giving back to the church quite a bit of money. God will bless me but that’s not why I do it. I’m giving back because I trust that the church will use what I have given to glorify God.

Thank you Dwayne. During the early days after i came to The Lord, I was seduced by that mindset you spoke of, concerning justifying being lazy instead of being responsible. I was fooled by the evil fleshly thoughts like; "If I trust God, i won't have to work to buy food.", " Food stamps is a wonderful blessing from God." , I told my wife. At the time we were struggling badly and we had turned to God but still were wading through bad doctrine. After the revelation of these ideas later being selfish and dishonoring to God, I felt worse than "an infidel" if you get the pun. Since I have started a business and The Lord has surely not ever let me down. Thank you for explaining the Kingdom of God, these videos, no joke Dwayne, always seem as though they fit perfectly with scripture I am pondering on that week, and never fail to edify my faith. Ye know I don't make nothin up if I did it would be the awfullest mess ever was if we open our mouth and god fills it will be perfect sometimes I read somethin god give me and it's the way god give it to me ive seen thangs in some of my writins n though bout changing it and then a though would come to me that's the way god give it to me gods way not Gary's way my biggest fear bout servin god was I knowed he would won't me to carry his message I never usta like talkin to people that's the reason I hated school so bad I wootin go in a restaurant n order food fer myself or my kids and I was kinda mad at myself over it I wootin afraid of nobody but I felt like everbody was bedder than I was and I was ashamed of myself because I wonted to go in restaurants with my family n my little babys n watch them eat one day I thought I'm goin in there and ordering food fer my kids if they kill me but ive always been kinda assumed around people till god saved me now I love yalkin to people I thank mabe God will give me somethin to say that will get some sinner person to thank bout god I pray ever day lord let me say or do somethin to touch some sinners heart its a lot bedder felt in the heart than herd in the ear I could tell you I love you a hundred times a day and don't get me wrong that's a good thang to tell the people you love but I they fill it in their heart they know you love them big difference and now I love everbody you know im just human n I love my kids more than anythang but god but I love you if I hated anybody I wootun be a child of god when god saved me he tuck that old heart full of hate and give me a brand new heart full of love it dont have no hate in it satan has tryed to make me hate people but god won't let me he won't let satan in this heart to destroy it god bless you I love you but god loves yo u more

I attend a small non-denominational church that meets on Sunday evenings. The pastor nor any of the staff take a salary. Every dime of the money that comes into the church goes back out in the form of relief and aid. We’ve given several hundred thousand dollars to places like Samariton’s Purse, Convoy of Hope and every January all of the money given to the church goes to the Pregnancy Care Center. Not all churches are money hungry and only want the finest carpets and furnishings. Our pastor has never preached a sermon about “tithing”. He says you should give whatever The Lord lays on your heart to give. And he always says you don’t have to give to our fellowship. He says to give wherever you want but don’t be stingy with what God has given you.

Dwayne, I'm a baby Christian. I was raised in the mormon religion (rely-on-gin) until the age of 16, when I left because of the way I was treated by the believing members.
I turn 40 next month, and in the last 2 years my life has turn upside-down and right side up, 3 or 4 times over...
