I'm constantly looking forward to the next episode of whatever mess they get themselves into, and what they're gonna turn it into. 10/10 channel.
You said it's not the most exciting thing, but putting in Quality of Life things like a new carpet or headliner is probably one of the most gratifying feelings when you're working on a car. A fully fitted interior really takes the car from "project car that you're driving" to "car that you work on"
Like to see more of the same. Guys having fun working on their stuff... and explaining while they go so I get entertained AND educated. Great stuff everyone!
Would be good to see a tool breakdown - what do you need for the basics, when is a tool worth buying and what are the nice to haves that just make your life so much easier (hydraulic strut compressor, looking at you!).
And by "worth buying" I don't necessarily mean it's cheaper to buy the tool than have someone do it for you. How much do you value your time and what tool will give you that back. You can get by without an impact gun by my god does it make a difference just getting stuff off!
I got one for you my dude. Those extendable breaker bars. Ufff I'm dead. I got a normal 18" breaker bar first before I got the extendable. Oh! My! Gosh! Getting the oil plug from our honday Odyssey. A breeze. Bolts for the brake caliper. EZPZ. I never knew how great those were until I actually got one and used it on those maintenance items. You get the leverage you need for those hard bolts as well as the accessibility needed to reach them. Win win.
Another thing: when you do a project like this, make sure you check if the axle nut on your car is a one-time-use nut. Some brands use TTY (torque to yield) nuts, so if you re-use it you're pretty much guaranteed to have an issue with it coming loose.
Yep I agree, except on my VW Golf GTI it's a big axel bolt instead of a nut. Had to replace it as well when I changed my wheel hub bearing. Then torqued that thang to 150 ft-lbs 😂
Have you ever thought of releasing an unedited version that shows the install without any cuts. It would be cool to see the whole process. Love the content!

I'm absolutely loving the feel, the editing, the sound, everything about these videos. Thanks for taking time during builds to explain what the parts do and how they work
I like that you show the project over multiple episodes, instead of rushing us through all of it in only one or a few!
BigTime is big cozy. The music, camera work, and the way Jobe explains stuff is such a vibe. 🤘🤘
I'm not a car guy, just a diy guy. Found these guys out of nowhere on donut and loosely followed. Since BigTime became a thing, I've seen every episode. It's not like they're showing you how to do the things, but the personalities, energy, and excitement are so entertaining to watch. I'm constantly looking forward to the next episode of whatever mess they get themselves into, and what they're gonna turn it into. 10/10 channel.
I actually loved the shots of the suspension links on the trash cans. You guys are killing it. Love the videos you guys make.
I love the feel of these videos. Makes me feel like I'm just chilling in the garage with some homies.
Would be pretty cool to see a budget friendly series! Such as budget street car build / drift
You mean high/low??? 😂
Road racing or a rally build would be super cool!!
buy a $500 crown vic, 5 speed swap and LSD swap or weld the diff. it's all you really need to start. hell some people do good with the automatics too.
You said it's not the most exciting thing, but putting in Quality of Life things like a new carpet or headliner is probably one of the most gratifying feelings when you're working on a car. A fully fitted interior really takes the car from "project car that you're driving" to "car that you work on"
I simply love the pure emotion in the videos. Just a guy doing what he loves. Keep it up guys. Love
That shot of Jer talking through the window WAS siiiicccckkkk.. but man, the naked foot brake bleed- LETS GO
What shot y'all talking about? 👀
I feel so trolled. I watched this video 3 times looking for that shot. Jobe even mentions it but where is it?!?!?!
@@chaparmusic @bobbyshawhan 'We Bought a Semi Truck' at like 4:17
@@Antnerd Oh, thank you!
It is indeed a sick shot.
20:11 😂
The music in this episode was on point.
My favorite part was when Michael Scott was singing “goodbye Toby, goodbye Toby”
It was too loud tbh
too loud imo and it sounds like stock tutorial music
I'm so happy you had the balls to leave and do what you love!! This channel is amazing! Congrats guys !!!
THEM DAWGS 20:12
Have you ever thought of releasing an unedited version that shows the install without any cuts. It would be cool to see the whole process. Love the content!
Idk why I’m happy while seeing them happy 🥹🫶🏻❤
Zach is probably the best car guy on youtube. He could narrate paint drying and it would still be captivating.
I love the in-depth nature of these videos in comparison to donut. I have some clutch and brake bleeding to do in the near future and I never thought to use a magnetized brake bleeder bottle or loop the bleed line right back into the reservoir. Thanks for sharing your tips
Man these are the type of videos that inspires me to work on my car! Though I dont have a drift car or anything. Still a lot more happier just watching and learning!
Shoutout to all my brothers who have a Kei camper van project
Donut uploading at the same time as you guys, still want to watch Zach install some basic mods!
For anyone who likes cars but doesn't have a garage. I highly recommend a 1:10 scale rc car. The amount of stuff you learn about cars is so immense. One day I will have a 1:1 car :)
You could get 10 1to10s for way cheaper. That’s basically the same thing right? :)
donut and big time uploading at the same time, both about project cars? there had to be some communication about this haha. don’t worry, i clicked on this video first!
Same
A lot of channels release at this scheduled time. Ain't no conspiracy
Can you give us some details like what products you use to clean parts
I unsubbed from donut. Was a long time coming. It's big time.
You’re projecting
Really enjoyed this. Made me want to do programming again for fun. Casually building something because I enjoy it. Love watching you guys. Never stop.
Your the first person ive seen on youtube put in new carpet, i did it years ago as one of my first mods on my project car, also got my carpet from the same company. Fun video. Take care
5:37 what are those light pucks. I need them in my life
As somebody that lives in Michigan and works on cars. It looks like CGI was in play when you were taking your control arm bolts out that easily. That's wild to me. I'm jealous
Ohio shadetree checking in: Can confirm, dry area mechanic work is the stuff we dream about. Live in Temecula 2001-2002, I thought I was working on new cars when they were 15 years old. Not even surface rust on stuff, it all looked new with extra dirt on it.
Only in dreams in MT
3:20 why is jobe soo blue 😭
That’s due to color correction whoever color corrected this video over saturated it. That’s why he looks that way.
this mf think they walter white
@@smokincold971 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m glad your car is going back together. I’m glad you fellas are doing well so far. Keep doing your best and I’ll keep watching!
I like that you guys are each doing your own passion projects but I want to see more of you working together on stuff and featuring in the same videos. Either way keep it up, BigTime is awesome!
Like if you like chocolate milk
