    John 6: • Jesus Multiplies Food ...
    Our Summary Notes
John 21:1-14 (Jesus and 153 fish)
Peter along with Thomas, Nathanael, the sons of Zebedee, and two others went fishing. They went back to what they knew before Jesus and caught nothing. Until Jesus showed up unrecognizable and they caught 153.
Peter jumped in the water without question, parallel to when he asked Jesus if he should walk on the water, and Jesus was busy making breakfast with a fire and fish and bread. They did not ask Who He was, they knew it was the Lord.
John 21:15-25 (Jesus and Peter and John)
Do you love Me more than these? Refering to the fish or the other disciples?
Jesus asked Peter three times, Do you love me? Peter answered yes, I do love you. Peter replied with the 'philos', friendly affectionate love, Jesus asked about the Godly 'agape' love the first two times and then the philos kind of love. Jesus restored him and commissioned him to be a pastor for Jesus.
Revelation of Peter’s death, upside down crucifixion.
Peter asked about John, and a rumor spread that he would not die but John was the only one who died a natural death, despite being cooked in oil, he survived and wrote Revelation.
John finally reveals himself as the one who wrote these things; if everything were to be written down, there would not be enough space.
    Notes / Questions:
153 means fisher of men. God honors people’s calling.
