If you want to be clever, don’t ask about that which has already been stated expecting an answer that varies from the original statement. “That which he prophesied, he failed to fulfill.” That is the statement: “That which he prophesied, he failed to fulfill.” My iPhone is suggesting the spelling of ‘fulfill’ may vary. But the meaning does not.

Jesus was using a figure of speech when He said three days and three nights when talking about the sign of Jonah. Jesus used much figurative language, hyperbolic statements, parables, comparisons when He taught and some things He meant literally. here are a few examples among others: the death by crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension back to heaven. Not everything is to be taken literally that is why so many people got confused. There are many idioms and figures of speech in the Bible.
