The drummer is absolutely amazing. One of the best I've ever seen.
Mark Hollis was an angel, he is now a real one, but he is missed so much
Such an incredibly underrated band, their contribution to the 80's music scene is immense!
Completely right. I just opened my own online record shop. Feel free visiting www.musicnonstop.nl and spot the treasures hidden everywhere.

Nunca haverá uma banda como talk talk ei maravilhoso 😘 inesquecível 😍 Marck hollies
this band is not underrated . they have fame and fans all over the world . top act from the 80s
@@DanyWildTV absolutely! Not at all, underrated!
@DanyWildTV if you randomly asked 100 50 year old people in the street to name their top 3, or even 5 bands that influenced the 80's pop scene, how many (seriously) would include Talk Talk?
there are so many fans that wants to travel back in time , thank u for understanding me , love you all!
You can travel back in time visiting my recently started online CD and Recordstore Music Non-Stop at www.musicnonstop.nl 😉
With Mark Hollis' death the world has lost one of the greatest singers/songwriters and performers of the universe. Thank you Mark, i will never forget you, you're a genius!!!!
Great reply brings tears to my eyes just watching Mark sing! Rip legendary musician!
@@cathsalazar9930 his voice gives me goosebumps every time XD
What a lead singer and the band is incredible, I'm so happy that I was able to enjoy the best time in music. And this band was part of it.

This is what good music is all about. His voice is absolutely amazing and the whole band is GRANDIOSE, every member of it is a star, the pianist, the drummer is awesome and in general. There's no band in the present with this incredible talent.
He has such a melody in his voice and also very passionate. Every member of the band is a star . Excellent band and awesome music. It's shameful that we don't hear this amazing music on this time. This is quality and beautiful music.
Everytime i listen to mark Hollis i get so sad he is no longer here i still love him and the songs he sang. Its so hard to believe he had brain cancer. Doctor's told him he had only five years but managed to live 15 more years until 2019.
I think they were more popular on the continent than in England
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Making songs is not as easy as we may think a lot of pressure.
Thankyou Mark Hollis for your hard work we appreciate all of it.
😢😢😢😢😢
❤❤❤❤❤
Mark even carries off triple denim - Talk Talk amazing stuff, perhaps the most under-rated top-notch band.
As a massive TALK TALK fan I thought I had seen every bit of footage ever... until this ! The spirit of TALK TALK will live on as this is the most amazing band ever!!!!! AWESOME!!!!
This gig tho is fire !!!! Talk Talk helped me through this year , Mark Hollis is brilliant and we are so blessed to have his etheric voice in these troubling times. This gig is my absolute fav , can't stop listening . Rest in Peace , Mark ❤
this is fucking great..i wish i had seen them live while he was alive...
Me too bro!......🇺🇸❤️👍💯
Talk Talk wasn’t anything I’d listen to as my 8 year old self in 1984 but now, I can’t stop listening. Thank you for the music Mark Hollis RIP…you are missed.
I totally understand 😊❤️I was 9

Same here. German. Born in 1974, noticed and liked the Such a shame song and video as a kid, then lived my life and forgot about Talk Talk and Mark. Since 2020 reunion with the music and felt in love 🤍 All these albums new for me. What a legend 🤍🙏

Rene - what a magical song.
Yeah. I didn't know it until this upload. Fell in love with it
TALT TALK, OUTSTANDING! I only wish they could tour today!
This band came from another galaxy !!!
40 year ago... always the best !
Après 40 années passées, je découvre à nouveau Talk Talk grâce à ses concerts uniques. Montreux était déjà super, mais alors là on frôle le génie ❤ ! Un grand merci pour ce live magnifique 🤩 !!!
hi Lee Harris in my opinion the best drummer of the 80's, He knows how to play, his presentation is unique and special, the master in playing drums. Musician blessed by God. Regards, Hug
Was he in any other bands?
Couldn't agree more! Lee Harris was absolutely the most energetic and exciting drummer that I ever watched in the 80's and since. He was also science fiction gorgeous back then!
Totally agree with that! Lee Harris was absolutely science fiction great!

Too right what a fantastic drummer awesome sensational
Love from a big fan from Sydney Australia 🇦🇺✅✅❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hands down the best "It's My Life" live I have heard. Mark was really into it this night!
He takes all the stage and what super intensity Mark forever this incredible voice
If time travel is a thing while I'm alive I am going back in time to this EFFIN SHOW OMGGG
YES sure. I think we must make this one the most free popular show on YT
I echo all the plaudits for this band. Incredible musicianship. I used to do solo cover gigs and over about 40yrs learned 400 songs. Despite how much I love this band, I haven't ever dared to try cover one. For one, the chord structures are on another level and then Mark's voice is an instrument in itself. Totally inimitable.
There will come a day you reach the level and dare to cover one song. That must be a goal to achieve. Good luck.

Other people and bands have tried...they also said the same thing..they couldn't quite figure it out, a unique sound these guys had. Talk Talk had it nailed down.
Always assumed his vocals were heavily produced, manipulated back when I could only buy the albums/cds and couldn't simply find gold like this on the internet. It's a headrush to see/ hear it coming straight out of him. This band spoke to me when few others did.
your voice will carry me forever ... you're still here
Giu hyde Me too 🙏🏼
THE BEST 80'S VOICE, rest in peace Mark ......
Talk Talk is one of the best bands ever, what a unique and infectious sound they created. Rest in Paradise Mark Hollis...
Rest in paradise MISTER MARK HOLLIS;we 'll see you later;dont stop your music!!
so much better than those 80s bands that just stood on stage moping. Talk Talk had energy, innovation, musicianship!
This live performance is so good.
He had such a beautiful voice.
Un Grande Artista che ci ha lasciati troppo presto 😔💔
Still one of the most interesting bands in history of rock/pop music. The development and change in their music was unique and in all periods of the band's creative time they released great songs - in many different ways. Thank you Mark Hollis for your great work!
Totally agree an amazing band still listen to them today.
Best underrated 80's band, love them and i still listen to them now
Word! Absolutely agree!!!! Thanks and RIP Mark Hollis - but don´t forget Tim Friese- Green´s work !
Great band and unique in all of the different musical styles they have very much in common with Japan who I also like
I think one of the top 10 nowadays nobody can hold a candle for them
I could watch this everyday.
I do watch every day. He, they are so Missed...
Me too, everyday i watch and hear TT and the sublime voice of Mark. God bless him
So true!!!!! 🙏🏻❤🌖🌜
The best live Talk Talk concert ever. It cant be better of this. Absolute perfection.
You have to watch live in Montreux

This looks fresh and up to date. Brilliant band. Should have been so much bigger
What a great musician.
I love how clearly you can hear Mark's voice in this, especially during 'Hate'. Amazing. Wish I had a time machine
2021-07-05 - still listening.. what a remarkable band. So timeless and good. I wish there would be a machine for time traveling back to the 80ies
"I wish there would be a machine for time traveling back to the 80ies"...ooooh yessss, please
This is the next best thing, I guess...

Iconic band and awesome set list 😊❤️🎼🌹
What a concert, not sure what the Germans were expecting but after the first song they knew it was going to be the best one of their lives, unless they saw them again in 86!
Truly blessed to have seen them live...incredible band
Mark Hollis...we WON'T FORGET YOU!
Mark Hollis genius
Mój osobisty geniusz
He was......sadly missed.
Such a Shame is a genius song. Can't believe America missed the mark on making that song more mainstream. I could listen to it on repeat for days.
RIP Mark Hollis, Talk Talk flat out ROCKED !! Thank you
I saw Talk Talk live back around this time, they were awesome..!
RIP Mark
I can't believe the mind of mark hollis. Pure brilliance. Loved his last album. Blows your mind. Mark you are and always will be with me in my heart and soul. You are a dream
Happy People. No cell phones
And lots of cocaine
Wow, the time I've wasted not listening to Talk Talk
Mark you are the one and only.
Amazing concert.
My all respect and tribute.
I grew up with his songs! This voice and this talent will never be forgotten! R.I.P, Mark!
Kind of reminds me of Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry, vocally.
Wow!!!!! What an emotion!!!!
Mark had such a distincive voice. Instantly recongnizable. RIP.
Unbelievable great performance. Such a Shame is such a life learning experience. These are true musicians.
DAS ist/ war LIVE- Musik.
DAS ist eine Band!
DAS ist/ war ein Sänger!

R.I.P. Mark.
bravo dirt biker :-)
Great live performance talk talk supertopclass unique and Very beautiful many thanks mark R. I. P. You're the greatest timeless FOREVER ! ! ! NEVER FORGOTTEN ! ! !
Excelente banda, besos al cielo para Mark Hollis. Gracias por compartir!
Talk Talk had absolutely no competition in the 80's UK!
Drummer Lee Harris is one of the most underrated drummers of that time. Love watching him play
Lee always gave everything in his performances. Good to have a video showing a bit of him snd Paul rather than just focussing on Mark.
Yes he's phenomenal. Shame on me - when they came out in 82 or so, I thought the drumming was so tight they must be just like the Human League, Depeche, who all used drum tracks. Eventually I saw them live on TV and it was a jaw-dropper.
Paul Webb is a fabulous bassist. Marvellous!
My Big Sis had the hots for Lee Harris back then 😊
This was the best lineup of TalkTalk, in my humble opinion. :-)
Lee was on fire!!
- Talk Talk - My Absolute Best Group - FOREVER !!!
Yayyyyy I’ve found a new talk talk concert..
That’s my evening sorted!
Love it when I do too!
The superbly tight rhythm section, which never gets shown, and probably are the reason you tapped your foot listening to your radio in the Sierra!
Drummers and bassists, we all really should salute you.
I wonder how much weight the drummer lost in this concert
Amazing TalkTalk presentation at Rockpop, Dortmund 1984, very good. A show of presentation, they play their musical instruments very well and sing even better. Saudades, Abraço.
Ging richtig gut ab damals, war ne schöne Zeit 😏😎
Love Marks voice so much. Awesome band. Rip ❤😢
One of the most underated bands in music history.
Indeed...
They are considered being underrated? U can only call them fantastic! Otherwise you are making a fool outa yourself
I lived through the 80s, I can tell you that it was one of the most recognized and outstanding bands in the world, both by critics and by the audience
@@kpmonday7952
I do agree. They were one of the most outstanding bands in the world.
Well, during the 80s I was in my twenties too, and, unfortunately, noticed that bands like Kajagoogoo and Culture Club were more recognized than Talk Talk.
Mark Hollis and the boys are dearly missed in todays music world.
@@xII_RoyalTI_IIx Says The Fool. They are WILDLY 'underrated'. Best to keep quite and keep UNINFORMED opinions to yourself.
I love this guy where ever he is!
Talk Talk is a one-of-a-kind band, their music stayed forever. An extraordinary band, icon of the 80s. Way ahead of its time. RIP Mark Hollis. Thanks for all Talk Talk
best
Dortmund was a very appreciative crowd....
I discovered the whole work of Talk Talk maybe 15 years ago, the genius of Mr. Hollis blew my mind and since then I've loved their music. Elegant and simple in its complexity and harmonies. They are the best synth wave pop band from the 80s. I dreamed about their comeback any day, but when Mr. Hollis left us, I was very sad but thankful for his amazing work... 👏👏👏
Completely right. Thanks for the nice works. One of my fav uploads indeed.
Si nos quedamos con las ganas de verlo retomar lo q empezó! Descansa en paz!😇🙏✨🎧🎹🎸🎤
RIP legend, you will not be forgotten. Much love from cold Finland! This music will live on
It all comes back…what a unique voice!…and those basse lines…epic!
yep indeed this concert is becoming a classic one in the meantime on the channel
Got it!
@@Musicnonstopnl Ty’s for posting this fab gig!🇺🇸👍
Talk Talk is the champ of the 80's i miss Hollis 😥
Great, unbelievable voice. Such feeling in each word. You feel it in your heart. It makes you wish you could have put it in words like he does, even though that's how you feel. Great!
Quelle performance, incroyable !
Fantastic! Brilliant concert.
Just an Epic voice and band and will always be the transcendent group I know they are xxxx classic
I just saw this for the 1st time on a Facebook post for a Mark Hollis page. At 28:20 ish when Mark and Paul are laughing together, wow I love that !! I wonder what they are laughing about ?? What a fabulous performance. I saw everyone live !!! Even Hendrix!! and I cannot believe I never saw Talk Talk. The greatest ! And so much fantastic music, lifechanging, yet to come after this performance.
They are laughing because Mark Hollis stop the song and it is not really ended with him
I dont know why they are laughing but but the bassist is clearly saying "fuck off" :D
They 're laughing because Paul suggested as greeting : "Well, fuck off..."
Me too saw Hendrix but very sad not Talk Talk which kills me when I hear & see these awesome live gigs! Pure legendary musician Mark Hollis is & will always b!...........👍❤️💯🇺🇸🔥
I am one of the very lucky women who have seen and heard Them perform live, twice, in '84 and '86. They are still my most favourite band ever. My 2 sons are named Mark and René. So sad that Mark Hollis has left this world, he had such a beautiful voice.
wonderful live
MARK HOLLIS, CADA VEZ QUE VEO UN VÍDEO TUYO, ME PONGO MUY TRISTE.

excellent performance, Lee Harris gives a show on drums. He's a drum master. And he is, in my opinion, the best drummer of the 80s. Hugs, Miss you
