    Yesterday, I made up my mind to go jogging regularly. Yesterday is the first time I jogged, I felt out of breath several times during my jogging, so I stopped to take a breather. Sometimes, jogging is a great way to help us take a load off after work.

    Hello, dear teacher Bob!
    There is a saying that if you get a job that you love, then you won't have to work a single day in your life. It looks like you've succeeded!
    Thank you so much for your lessons!
    Have a great weekend!❤ ❤❤❤

    Hi Bob,
    Thank you for this new video which teaches us some very useful phrases as usual.
    Seeing people on paddle boards and kayaks, I wonder if it's possible in summer to rent a boat for several people to go for a few days or a week on the waterway and thus visit this beautiful Canadian province?
    This exists in France where you can stroll for hundreds of kilometers on all the rivers passing through the locks and visit the whole of France and why not fish if you want. 😃💛👍⛵️

    • @bobsshortenglishlessons
      @bobsshortenglishlessons  Год назад

      It's possible to rent boats for that purpose, but not usually on our river. The water is quite muddy. There is a larger river near us where they do that, it leads to a lake. You'll see where it flows into Lake Erie in my next video on my larger channel tomorrow. 😎💃🍇

    In the videos, the water seemed to be stagnant or moving slowly ,I always felt that it is a boring river, but in this video being some people on river made me good feeling about that.

    Hello Bob, do you remember my comment about the kayak tour with you a few months ago? I think, it must have been around the time of your vineyard video on this channel. Because I still think it would be cool if you took us on a tour 😘. (Maybe one day.) But I quess, you need a waterproof camera for that first 😅. Anyway, thank you for the new phrases and the beautiful view of the river. Have a wonderful day, Bob, and don't forget to take a break every now and then if you can. 🛶🚣❤

      That sounds great, Bob. I would love to see you kayaking in a lesson, but as always only if you can find some time. If not, that's no problem at all. A big thank you in advance, sir. (You are awesome.) 🏞🇨🇦🥰

    It would be cool to take a load off sitting on the banks of this river and fishing. Although I don’t know if fish are caught there? 🤔

    • @bobsshortenglishlessons
      @bobsshortenglishlessons  Год назад +1

      There are fish in the river. Most people who catch them don't eat them though. They do what is called "catch and release". They catch the fish and then return it. 😎💃🍇

    Is the meaning of "to take a load off" is the same as " to let my hair down"?

    • @bobsshortenglishlessons
      @bobsshortenglishlessons  Год назад +1

      They are related, but slightly different. "to take a load off" makes me think of someone sitting on a couch. "to let your hair down" makes me think of someone dancing and having fun! 😎💃🍇

    I don't know if it is available in your area but I found three Turkish websites in Canada, turkishmart, turkishbazaar and lazbakkal where you can find rose jam. If you can't find rose jam, maybe you can use these websites. After eating the jam, I would love to hear your comments about whether you liked it or not. ☕🍽️❓
    When I saw the people in the river, I realized how wide it was. In the videos, the river looks narrower than it is because there are no objects to scale it. I had a similar situation with the scaling when you showed the tree that had fallen down in the storm across the river. I didn't realize how huge the tree was until you showed it a second time in another video with a man trying to cut it down for firewood. 📏◾◼️🫢

    Hi Bob
    You didn't reply to the posts for two days, So I think I should post mine
    The last minute of the video you posted is like a dream I had about 3-4 hours before you posted it.
    Yes, anyone can have such dreams ( The human soul flies in the world of sleep and travels to places and worlds that it cannot reach in the waking state.)
    About two weeks ago I had another dream about you but that had nothing to do with your videos.
    I hope you visit my dreams again sometimes!

    • @bobsshortenglishlessons
      @bobsshortenglishlessons  Год назад +1

      Hmm. I don't personally use that phrase. I would say, "to get something off your chest" which means to talk to someone about something they are doing that is bothering you. 😎💃🍇
