      THIS FOOD IS NOT NUTRITIOUS . A DOG WILL EAT ANYTHING IF IT IS HUNGRY. MAKING A STATEMENT LIKE "MY DOG LOVES THIS" IS UNBELIEVABLY STUPID.

    • @keepingupwithmarsha5155
      @keepingupwithmarsha5155 2 года назад +2

      @@golfinguna even the most expensive dog food is not healthy either because of how they make it and if you are only feeding your dog store bought food and you are not giving them any type of vitamins or probiotics. Your pet will have health problems. I had my last dog for 18 years and the vet always asked me what I was doing to keep my dog healthy. I don’t know everything and neither do the vets. My fur baby I have is going through the exact same thing and all they are doing is pushing out bills and prescription dog food that is not doing anything. I never had to deal with a fog with a sensitive stomach. My goal is to give my dog relief and keep him healthy and happy.

    • @Nelliescake
      @Nelliescake 2 года назад

      @@golfinguna not true, not all dogs anything, well street dogs obviously! I've had dogs all my life, healthy and with health conditions, so I've had to learn to deal with them. My dogs, except one for health issues, eat dry food and I have to keep on changing the flavor from beef to chicken because when they get tire of the taste they won't eat it, just drink water, they prefer to starve for days before eating it ...and they are adults, not puppies. This here is a nutritional recipe, and she is also including additional supplements her pup needs. There are a bunch of recipies from Veterinarians in RUclips, check them out and you'll see what I mean. This is definitively NOT STUPID, I'm sorry, but stupid is judging without having a clue about the subject.

    • @golfinguna
      @golfinguna 2 года назад

      @@Nelliescake There is nothing stupid in my reply and I do know what I am talking about simply because I have studied modern nutrition for many years. You believe what you want to. There are millions of people believing in the multi million pound food companies adverts and you tube videos and millions of dogs are suffering in their later years because of this. Dried dog food is junk it is not food it is a mix of dozens of different meats, vegetables, unproven supplements and additives, all dried at ridiculous temperatures until it becomes useless and dangerous. Nobody knows what is in the so called dog food yet these companies list their ingredients as if they know exactly what is in each mouthful. Clever marketing full of lies. If you are feeding your dog out of a tin or packet. It is pure luck that you have had dogs living into old age without any illnesses. People feeding their dogs processed foods should be held accountable for their actions. It is bordering on cruelty.

    Your dog is so so cute!! Food looks so awesome. Just add a little turmeric while cooking the meat. Turmeric is an excellent antioxidant and helps to keep the joints healthy. Also instead of dumping the vegetable water, cook the rice in it. That way all the nutrition of the veggies is retained and the dog gets it.

    I currently have my dogs one is a Chihuahua he’s eight years old and one is a Chihuahua dachshund cross known as a Chiweenie both on the Farmer’s dog it is a pretty expensive meal service however I’m switching them over to the DIY E program where I get the recipes and make it at home myself and they sent me a nutrient mix that I put into their dog food to make sure they get all the nutrients and vitamins that they need into their food as well. Thank you so much for sharing this video and as I said down below be careful using peas and keep some research on it as well as I’ve been told that it does possibly lead to heart issues and some dogs.

    I have a Coton de Tulear, I got her at 10 weeks. I weaned her off of that store-bought food immediately and already introduced her to cooked Table food. She is now 13 1/2 months old and three has been doing amazing on it. One day I couldn’t get to the store and I gave her some dry dog food and she wouldn’t eat it. She has a healthy coat and she’s very happy. I also cook her food by Coconut oil and I add turmeric rosemary and thyme to all her food because they’re medicinal. I gave her seamoss for five days and I’ll take a break for five days and so forth. I also add pumpkin, eggs and I drop the egg shells for calcium and I put that in her food as well.

    Thank you for your recipe! I cook for my little guy, but he will only eat it if it's freshly cooked. In the past, I would make a batch, put some in the fridge, some in the freezer, but he won't touch it. So, I'm cooking every day. That's okay, I don't mind. I do add some homemade chicken broth to make the food a little more wet, which he likes, and it provides more hydration. Thanks again for your video!!

    If you want something green for your dog either switch to green beans or broccoli both have a very good amount of fiber in them and if you look at peas they sometimes are related to heart issues with dogs I don’t ever ever feed my dogs peas once I found this out. I made this for the first time tonight. Thank you for the recipe. My only problem is one hour a 250 and the vegetables were still hard as a rock. I had to cover it all and turn up the heat to 350 for another 45 minutes. The carrots are still a little hard but maybe they will soften more as the mixture cools. My dog’s vet also prescribed Science Diet low fat I/D. What a ripoff for a fairly small can of stew that heavily processed ingredients. I love this because I was able to make basically a MUCH better stew out of organic ingredients. I see other people were talking about peas and bone powder. I didn’t see these items in the written recipe anywhere. Should I have added them? Thanks.

      I used the bone meal powder to add calcium to his diet . It’s great for his bones and joints as he ages . My dog loves peas and I really wanted to incorporate a green veggie . Add a green your pup likes doesn’t necessarily have to be peas . Some dogs like broccoli etc

    Thank you so much for this! I too have a shih tsu but she’s a senior 14 years old - loved her whole hearted grain free petco brand food, I would put a teaspoon of grain food from time to time, until one day last month she had bad diarrhea for about six days, took her to vet, a big vet bill later she was prescribed hills prescription diet food & it’s really expensive & with COVID shipping problems not always available at stores. Do you know why this hills id food is vet prescription only? Because the vet gets credit $$ by the company for prescribing it to you. And it’s made with global meat byproducts! Doesn’t seem very wholesome.
    At first she ate it up for about one month. Today she is tired of it & won’t eat much of it but still loves her snacks. So I know she is hungry for something else. I will have to try this recipe. What about putting in some ground up raw kale or spinach? Thanks again 🙏🏼💕🙏🏼

    I am currently giving my 9# poodle 2.5 mg of Pepcid ac about 30 minutes to 1 hour before each feeding (hidden in a treat ) only twice a day. I have to cut a 10 mg. Tablet into 4 pieces with a pill cutter (her vet is okay with me cutting the tabs). My dog has problems like your dog. I am currently spending 3$ per can for Science Diet ID for sensitive stomachs. I will try your recipe when I have exhausted my supply. The doctor also gave her 3 doses of Pancur? In case she had a parasite and a steroid shot and Vitamin B12 shot. The Pepcid has really helped. You might try this if you think it would be of additional help. Thanks for posting the video.

      Hill Science is not real food it is processed food that really doesn't do anything positive for any type of dog's diet or issues. All allergies are food-related or environment-related. Check out RAW diets or pre-cooked RAW diets. Also, rice (any kind) attributes to inflammation in their system as well. Diets that are grain-free are best with whole real proteins.

      Hey thanks for watching! My dog is 14 pounds and after consulting with a vet tech they recommended that I give him one cup (8pz) of homemade food a day along with a bowl of sensitive grain free dry food sitting out throughout the day in case he needs something to munch on .,.usually he eats all of the wet food that I make and munches on the dry food whenever he gets hungry in the middle of night 🤣! he also gets a snack in the morning and in the evening so that pretty much hold him over for the day. If your dog is 26 pounds I would recommend maybe giving him 12 ounces of food but also have another option for him throughout the day in case he gets hungry but if you do not want to mix dry food and homemade food I recommend you giving him a cup in the mornings and a cup in the evenings

      Just a heads up, this recipe isn't proper for puppies. They need more calcium and whatnot. I recommend you try instinct frozen raw for puppies. Unless you really put in the research for puppies, you could do a lot of damage to them as they grow. The raw diet is optimal for dogs, anyway.
