I like how endora uses her powers to 2 send Samantha back in time to let her see what would've happened if she told Darrin that she is a witch b4 they were married & even though endora sent Samantha & Darrin back in time for the third time Darrin proved that he still loved Samantha & wanted to marry her even though she was a witch in bewitched season 2
Totally digging Sam's sailor style (?) dress. But this makes no sense. According to the marriage/ honeymoon episode, which I believe was the premiere, it was the first time Sam revealed she was a witch, but in this episode they are at the dating stage of their relationship. Was there more to this episode?
This episode Samantha worried that Darrin only accepted her being a witch because they were already married by then. Endora sent them back in time (wiping Darrin's memory) and made it so she could tell him when they dated so she could learn the truth. In the end it's proved he still accepted her before they married
Also, to add on to this, Samantha mentioned that she was about to tell Darrin the night he proposed, which also led to Endora sending them back in time
I guess there are different colorized versions; the one I watch on the website of my local TV station here in Canada is pretty convincingly colorized with better colors and none of the issues you see in this clip.
I've not seen this episode.. I've seen the one where she tells him she is a witch.. Where she makes his lighter work and where she moves the ashtray.. I'm guessing this has to be from the first series?
No, that was the very first episode. Samantha didn't tell Darrin until AFTER they were married. Later, Endora puts it in her head that Darrin never would've went through with the wedding if he'd known beforehand, and she sends Samantha back in time to prove it. Darrin did initially run out on her, like we see here, but he later comes back, and nothing really changes.
They looked so natural together, I just love the chemistry between the original Darrin and Samantha.
Same here
Dick York was awesome.
Agreed!

I like this episode and I Like it when Darrin says yells Will you Marry me?
Love this show. My favorite program ever!!!
The 2005 movie should have been based around their courtship
She would have been my perfect woman
Can you post the clip of Darrin yelling "Will you marry me?! Yes or no?!" That is one of my favorite moments in the entire episode 😂

@@rcd2000 Ahhhh. Ok. Thank you for taking the time to explain that👏👏

Samantha never did any of that. She was classy 😊
Witches 🧙♀️don't haunt houses 🏠🏡🏡🏠🧙♀️
Was this clip colorized? The inside of Darrin's mouth is pretty dark.
Yes, it was originally filmed in B&W.

Yes!
What is it you want to tell everyone, Sam?
samantha is a good witch. witches are good to me
"Witches are good, witches are dear" 🧙♀️
Sold
Darren was so one dimensional.
For Darren to go through everything that Sam's family put him through and not go crazy or not leave her, he's a G.
Darrin didn't deserve Samantha.
Of course he did. He made the show
@@betsyr4724 they both made the show!
I agree, Darren didn't deserve her..
I always thought Samantha told Darren this information on their wedding night. Oh well...
@@richardpatrick2852 That's what I thought, too.
