This video was incredibly informative! The detailed safety tips are super helpful, especially for someone like me who's just getting started with using an angle grinder. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
I used to use wire wheel a lot but then i threw it to trash when i found a better way.Wheels are loud, throw dust everywhere ,bristles fly and hit you in arms. For rust removal i use cheap and safe citric acid -as little as 4% will get metal clean in a day(increase concentricity for faster result 4% was enough for me to get large quantity of 10L for cheap ).You can buy it in a food store as food preservative e330.Its a powder form so you just add water. If you dig a hole in ground and put nylon sheet over you can make small pool for any shape. You can reuse it multiple times ,just add a bit more acid. Whats left of rust is easy to clean with kitchen wire and laundry detergent, spray with wd-40 to prevent surface flash rust. For paint i use ether hot gun for paint stripping or you can buy chemical paint remover.
1:03 No you cant ,it will screw up the bushings/bearings in hand drills and cordless drills, chuck will have play in it.Wire brush is worst attachment for the drill. I know from experience. IF you are going to do this use old drill or cheap one that you dont care about .
stupid people do stupid things. so all is simple ,let machine do the job, don´t push. and never put your body weight on it. just grab machine and hold it stable arms keeping only machine weight and machine will the job easy for you. done.
Exactly! Letting the machine do the work is the safest and most efficient way. No need to apply extra force-just maintain a stable grip. Thanks for the reminder!
