You use RTV to mate the oil pump to the block? There's a gasket made for that. I was planning on using both some RTV and the paper gasket made for it. All to insure I don't get another leak. And I bought a new Melling oil pump. Glad you covered the oil pump spring and that O-ring. I got all that with my new pump but was unsure where it all went.
as of yet im not sure as the engine is not running but stay tuned for when it is up and running, this mod is to raise the oil pressure relief limit so at higher revs hopefully it will have a higher oil pressure
