I didn't finish the dori quest but i still had the option to tell them the result of the investigation
am astrologist
I don’t get it. What’s the difference between Ending 2 and Ending 3? Someone, please explain it to me. 😭
Man, it's so much more depressing when we're the ones to tell him versus Alhaitham. Most people would probably pick the first option, right? I think Alhaitham knows how to break the news to him in a way that doesn't let Kaveh be stuck inside his own head. Like redirecting Kaveh's sadness/guilt/self-hatred away by arguing with him and teasing him. Honestly it's a good way to show how they care about each other despite all their intense bickering. Also for the love of god can we please get a Teyvat therapist?
If you don't realise Dori had especially stated to keep the information of Kaveh's father to ourselves, at begining I felt unsure which option to speak chose not to tell and as Alhaitham and Kaveh scene followed I realised it was right for me to not disclose something that is personal, and that Alhaitham breaking the news too him seems more right and also shows that they are close enough to share something that personal but also make one feel better after that oof- ISTG I LOVE THESE PPL THEIR SHIP FRIENDSHIP OR NOT I LOVE THEM AWOOO 0///0
@@10nsayantibiswas60 Oh, I didn't know the thing about Dori! I assume that most people would want to tell Kaveh the truth since it's only right for him to know, and it's not like we knew beforehand that Alhaitham would tell him. The first option isn't the "wrong" one necessarily (it's natural to pick it) but it ends the whole quest on a sad note which kinda sucks. I guess it's harder for the traveler to properly comfort him since we can't freaking talk and we're not as close to him? Idk :( Anyway, yeah you're right about Alhaitham and Kaveh's friendship being really likable. Like yeah they get into bitter spats and Kaveh wants to move out and everything, but in the next scene they casually talk about each other's habits and subtly show how much they pay attention to each other.
Lol, Raiden could've used the tevyat therapist. Though that may have been Miko...and if it wasn't she might have killed them
@@berryriirii8725 as another comment here puts it the flip side to choosing to just tell him right there and then is that he realized that he's not very different from his father. Sure having Al tell him and immediately distract him with philosophical bickering means things end in a funny way. However, it also means he didn't get to reflect on it all and so he just moved on without realising that going on the path he is on now will lead him to the same fate as his father anyway influence by Sachin or not. And so choosing to tell him ourselves meant that he now realized what's really wrong with himself and hopefully he could strive to change that moving forward.
We have Nahida as the resident mother figure of Hat guy and sub therapist/counselor the entirety of sumeru city (as shown in her 1st story quest being a compassionate and kind archon) -- which is saying a LOT since it seems that before her release we can imagine the state of so many ppl in need of therapy yet there seems to be nobody to help in such a field. The very least is Nahida approves of kaveh's wisdom, so I really hope the two get to meet and talk more one day
Kaveh’s dad was a real one tho. He basically saved Aaru village. And then saved a whole merchant caravan before dying to quicksand.
can someone explain how kavehs dad saved aaru ?
@@atharvakpatil ull get it after completing dori's quest , an old women will tell u that a man from 20years ago saved them. they were going through harsh time , yet he teached children and took care of sick people. and while saving the merchant caravan he actually wrote a letter to his child but it was lost (her damn son owned the letter but worked as a mercenary and ended up dying therefore lost the letter) i don't remember the details but his father did many good deeds to aaru village. if only kaveh knew..
And he also was friends with Aranara.

Kaveh : *Sad
AlHaitam : *I'll piss him off more so he can only think about hating me instead of the real problem
Kaveh doesn’t hate Alhaitham and I think Alhaitham knows that, since he knows Kaveh better than anyone else does. Kaveh’s just a tsundere
When you put it like that it sounds so bad. 😂 I'm a very introspected person and I'd be extra pissed if someone started annoying me to try to distract me from reflecting. Like f*ck off, dude.
I'm glad I chose to tell him the truth myself. 😆
Which doesn't bring Kaveh any close to resolving his internal conflict. Alhaitam is just a jerk for no reason tbh.
@@MusicLoverInTheSky based
@@kindlingking alhaitham approached this discussion as a scholar and made some really great points about how any scholar is equally likely to follow the line of research followed by sachin and get involved in a way Kaveh's father did. I don't think he was necessarily being any more of a jerk in here in fact he broke it to him in a way Kaveh is able to handle best. Just my opinion. It didn't look like the intention was to piss him off to distract him from the real problem. Both of them are jerks to each other for no good reason to be honest. Kaveh riles him up for no good reason just as much. Yet they do things that only close buddies would do for each other. Probably just their dynamics as broken adults who are developing as individuals i suppose..
Kaveh is a weird character. I feel like he's practically the main character of another story. Compare him to someone like Layla or even Tighnari and he seems way more fleshed out and well-designed. He reminds me of how hard they went on Xiao and Shenhe.
It's just a matter of life: tighnari and layla did face difficulties but those were not nearly as mentally challenging/taxing as the ones of the other characters you mentioned. After overcoming such great pain, of course the person coming out of it will be much different from everyone else.
@@mirko1019 agreed sis
Kaveh also has the most facial movement in the game, I've not seen anyone else in the game with so many expressions
@@mirko1019 I feel like it's because those characters are more or less very self-contained. Layla is a side character who just needs a nap, and Tighnari is an established leader. They don't really have any deeper flaws or emotional issues that the MC could engage with.
I totally agree story wise
But design?
Layla?
LAYLA?
She has more details than all standart five stars together
Alheitham trying to piss Kaveh off so, he is distracted from the mortifying ordeal of thinking he indirectly cause his father's death is such a gut punch.
"ex-best friends" indeed

@@Crystix don't sweat the details. they did anyway, bsckstage. i know. i was there. /j.
But we all know the truth its not Kaveh fault, it was Sachin
Right?
Way to make it look less insensitive. But no. Alhaitham is just that blunt.
I've never seen Alhaitham act so playful before and it's kinda cute. I'm glad this cheered Kaveh up

This event is basically a Kaveh Story quest. Couldn't be any better for a 4star. Good Layla and Faruzan moments, which is great! I'm glad they gave the four stars such good screentime and care!
Every Sumeru character was great in this event. 😊😊😊
@@Rommulo35628 yes, specially Nilou being the "waifu" she is
honestly, there wasnt a single character who’s role in the story wasn’t satisfying (except nilou kinda but honestly she kind of shines best on the sidelines) cyno and tighnari were very fun (they always have a good dynamic) kaveh got an insane amount of characterization, layla and faruzan got some W moments, wanderer got to be both snarky and rude while also displaying his softer side in his kindness to tighnari and his loyalty to nahida, alhaitham got to be as enigmatic and calculating as ever, and it was such a treat to see dehya and candace just spending time together and taking it easy on the sidelines

@@snowlondon8642 This was actually a huge character story for Wanderer, but he wasn't the main character in this narrative so it's easy to miss. someone mentioned a "teyvat therapist" being needed in the game and i just realised that the traveler is basically teyvat's therapist with the way all characters open up to the traveler in some way at some point
does the traveler need a therapist too? yes, they do. but so far they've comforted the most characters in the game
It’s interesting too because in We will be Reunited they were ready to leave this world with their twin, it just goes to show that despite all the friends they made they feel like they don’t truly belong in Teyvat and all their interactions are superficial. We can even theorise the name we give them is a fake one and Aether/Lumine is their real name they don’t tell people to avoid close attachments.
That’s just my headcanon tho…
@@Allthingsasian Its not really your Headcanon, we even see the Traveller's sibling calling Traveller by their real name, Aether.
I'm pretty sure only the Abyss, Dainslief, Lumine, and Paimon know the Traveller's true name.
@@Allthingsasian It’s not that they feel like they don’t belong. It’s just that canonically they know they will forget everyone once they leave the world behind. That’s why they always focused on finding their sibling. To a being that lives for millions upon millions of years, the scant amount of time spent in Teyvat is nothing.
I mean, by now it's pretty well-known that most of the time, the people who are the best trauma sponges for their friends/family usually are absolutely NOT doing well themselves and tend to focus on comforting and helping with other people's issues to avoid their own, so...

People have to learn to take bad news at some point in their life, you won't always have someone nice and caring at your side to break things down for you.
That's why IMO the first option is the best one, besides most people preferred to let Alhaitham tell the news simply because they wanted to see them interact, which is pretty twisted in a way.
@Brurhh I think I'm not "most" because I felt, it wasn't my right to tell him. Alhaitham knew him better so it's better if he told it instead
@@ForMeItsElis late but super long reply here but kaveh was someone who took endless blows of “bad news” with no one who was truly there with him (and if there were, their presence was brief). His father died and his mother fell into depression and soon left him alone, then the whole fallout with alhaitham happened which probably left him all alone all over again, and then that whole palace of alcazarzaray thing in which he asked no one for help and stayed homeless for over a fortnight, drinking his life away in the tavern until alhaitham found him and took him in. Believe me, he KNOWS what it feels like to not have anyone to “break it down” for him, and all he did was blame himself for everything.
IMHO, he needs someone with him-someone like alhaitham-to ground him to see the reality of the situation, but not in a way that leaves him depressed afterwards. You could even argue that alhaitham is a necessary presence in his life, albeit he could be a little nicer sometimes. He essentially tells kaveh over and over again to not make trouble for himself. Heck, it even troubles ALHAITHAM-the man who apparently “doesn’t care” about things that don’t affect him-that people make troubles for themselves.
Alhaitham, being the polar opposite of kaveh, can help kaveh realize things just like how kaveh can help alhaitham realize things. I feel that the longer these two stay with each other, kaveh will grow to have a stronger sense of self and hopefully learn better self-preservation skills, while not letting his guilt decide things for him all the time.
I just wish alhaitham didn’t rub salt in kaveh’s wounds by bringing up “mansions” and “money” all the time, though. It kinda gives off a weird power dynamic-kaveh insults alhaitham’s social life (which obviously doesn’t affect alhaitham), but alhaitham insults Kaveh’s financial situation in return, which _does_ affect kaveh and has him in a chokehold. Frankly, it’s hard to watch their arguments considering how insensitive and rude alhaitham may come off sometimes (if not most of the time), but there are moments where I appreciate what alhaitham tells kaveh, because they are true, and kaveh realizes this himself. Of course this doesn’t mean that kaveh should give up chasing his ideals and wanting a better place for everyone, it’s just that kaveh shouldn’t be so self-sacrificing all the time and figure out better ways to approach things-preferably in a way where he _doesn’t_ harm himself.

This is very true! I didn't expect his character would be this deep and complex compared to the rest playable characters. Correction:
Ending 2: Just Kaveh & Alhaitham having a lover's quarrel and then flirting in the end😌
I did a little bit of a “ignorance is bliss” move and didn’t tell Kaveh about his father. He already felt guilty and upset, I didn’t want to make it worse.
Imagine my surprise when Alhaitham tells him instead. I’m happy he did; it wasn’t the Traveller’s place to dig into Kaveh’s past and then drop such huge information in his lap.
Alhaitham also managed to cheer him up afterward, so I see it as an absolute win.
I chose the first option and thought it would better if I told him, I nearly cried cause I felt like I just said "hey it's your fault your dad died." so I warned my brother and he ended up with Alhaitham telling Kaveh and it was so much better. I'm glad one of us got Kaveh to know without causing unnecessary pain.
The hard truth is bound to cause pain. Having a distraction (Alhaitham) will only delay the thoughts and healing process that lay only behind it. Kaveh may be a doormat for doing good things despite it being detrimental to himself, but he isn't a weak person. That's why either option is okay, and that you could trust Kaveh with the truth.
@@snowparodyi guess either way, it's still better to just let Alhaitham say it because, no matter how much they don't want to admit it, they are close, it's not the Traveler's place to dig up his past and drop the bomb like that
Honestly as lore reader, I do like number one because it makes Kaveh realise his action. It makes him NOT to walk the same path.
Is it sad? Yes, but he will grow better as person and who knows, he might get pick as Sage.
Even Haitham admits he makes good Sage, he just needs to fix his habit of helping others too much and priorities that is important.
+1
I think letting Alhaitham tell him makes him heal better. In the first one he completely falls to his own guilt again, while in the second one he thanks Alhaitham, in his voiceline about him he says he would never thank Alhaitham for anything and yet this time he does. It's a very telling sign of progress imo
Yes, I did tell him the truth. Kaveh is a very kind person but not weak.
@@susanafuentes8673 Honestly realising your own flaw and let other tell your flaw can have huge difference. I guess it depends on the person.
@@susanafuentes8673 Agreed. Alhaitham may be a troll, but he's Kaveh's Ex-Bestfriend. He knows him better than ANYONE in Sumeru. He would know how important this information about *why* his father went out into the desert would be to Kaveh, but would also know him well enough to not allow him to wallow in his guilt and self loathing. Hence... he bickers with Kaveh, and then teases him, to get his mind off of his guilt. Not sure if he realized what he did in the last bit, but... it was much better than just telling him straight, like how the Traveller did it. Sometimes the blunt truth is far more harmful than telling it gently, or redirecting their attention to something else.
These two are an interesting pair, and I think Alhaitham is a lot more caring to Kaveh than most like people think. Understandably, of course... but I read somewhere that someone thought the reason why Alhaitham is so cruel to Kaveh isn't because he actually *wants* to be. He just knows that if he was kind to him straight up, it would scare Kaveh off. The boy doesn't accept kindness from others, even when its just common decentcy.
BUT its also obviously entertaining for Haitham to piss Kaveh off. 😂 The little smile he wears whenever they're bickering is truth enough for THAT, lmao!
i love how this shows that kaveh is a big nerd just like alhaitham lmaoo calling their little squabbles academic research 💀 i feel like a lot of fanon thought he was just an artist but completely forgot that he is a disciplined scholar, he's a lot more book smart than people give him credit for
That's so true! Alhaitham's character story says that he likes having Kaveh around to debate with, and people tend to blame Alhaitham for starting arguments, but in this ending, it's obvious that Kaveh also likes to argue. Alhaitham even said he did not come to the Akademiya to have that conversation but Kaveh says it's an important "scholarly" debate lol
Now I'm so glad I skipped Dori's quests and focused on main quest instead. I've got to see Kaveh and Alhaitham together, they can't live without teasing each other 😂
Although I missed on some lore I learned from this video
They have the same conversation at the end, even if you do Dori's quests. Just don't tell Kaveh about his father and the dialog with Alhaitham will take place.

at this point I'm too lazy to finish the quest 😭
Kaveh story is so sad and heartbreaking I felt bad for him even his “roommate” Alhaitham felt bad for Kaveh about Kaveh father passed away
Why wouldn’t Alhaitham feel bad for him? They have a bad current relationship but they were still best friends at one point and Alhaitham’s not a robot. He also knows what loss feels like because he lost both of his parents and his grandmother, which is something he relates to Kaveh over; not having a family.
Alhaitham is a kind person who cares about his friends in his own way, and he showed that long before Kaveh was added to the game. They might have forgotten how to communicate properly, but they still used to be best friends in the past, and they still are friends right now despite their differences in worldview. Alhaitham is not one to hold grudges, seeing as he didn't hold one against Siraj who tried to kill him in his story quest, so it's safe to assume that despite their past misunderstanding, Alhaitham wouldn't just forget their friendship and let Kaveh suffer, seeing as he knows the pain of loss himself and knows, as Kaveh's former best friend, that Kaveh is a very emotional person who tends to be ruled by his emotions.
You think with suneru having free health care, they'd have therapists
I don't want anyone to be sad 😭😭😭😭😭
I'm glad Alhaitham cheered Kaveh up
It really shows they are friends deep down
Whatever you chose it doesn't matter. In the end he learn the truth anyways, there are no correct or wrong, good or bad ending.
For those who chose option 1 be proud that you sympathize him by telling the truth. For those who chose option 2 & 3 be proud that you empathize for him to not hurt him. It just proves that you guys are kind human beings with a good heart. It's a matter of perspective on how you take the endings, and remember those are your own perspective. Just as Nahida said every perspectives are part of the truth. Whether they are positive or negative perspective, it doesn't decide which truth is the correct one. And just like Alhaitham said, sometimes being correct means nothing at all. In the end, these are just stories written by story writers that could have ended in any situation and doesn't give us any benefit whatsoever. I mean if they're lazy, they could've ended the lore right there when we hide the truth and Kaveh would never know the truth in his entire life lmao. So it's actually nice of them to create another scenario that eventually lead to the same conclusion and ending.
So let us learn from this quest and remind ourselves to respect each other opinions, and not let opinion differences creates conflict which honestly is the sad reality of the internet right now. I believe by starting there, we could have more peaceful conversation with each other and try to reach on a solution or conclusion that can satisfy both parties instead of pointing fingers who are right or wrong. Peace out.

This is before I didin't know abou't the second ending when I looked it up, which I really wanted this ending and to hear between Alhaitham and Kaveh in the Japanese dub (I can't find it anywhere aside from english).

While the conversation with the traveler seems more sad, than the one with Alhaitham, my hope in Kaveh’s character is that he will learn to forgive himself, as he was a child and his fathers fate is not his fault, and he’ll finally make peace with these feelings he’s held on to for so long. This was a really good event though. I never expected to see the character growth and stories that we did.
I was super busy to do the Day 1-2 investigation so Alhaitham automatically took over and for once i'm glad I had a busy lifestyle. Didn't even know this was an option.
I think Alhaitham sharing the news was better for Kaveh because Kaveh is more familiar with Alhaitham. We've only met him 1-2 times and even now he might still have his guard up against us. Obviously you can see there's a difference with how Kaveh talked to us vs how he talked to Alhaitham. I as the traveler don't mind Professor Kaveh telling us his troubles but i'd be worried that he would ruminate these depressing thoughts and feelings, bottling them until he feels guilty.
Yeah... I am so sad that I missed out on seeing them bickering together. Boo.
the traveler ending sucks so bad, he's just left depressed feeling even worse, when alhaitham broke the news to him he manged to cheer him up from the realisation that he did infact play a part in his father's death, just how does alhaitham do everything right all the time, how does his brain work??
Al-Haitham understands Kaveh more than anyone since they are roomates. He intentionally made him more (mad) so that he can focus on being angry and (hating) him instead of having that thought in his head that he's to blame and constantly feel sad and overthink. Kaveh knows this too, even though they argue all the time, they both care about each other in their own way. Especially the way they joke and so on... Pretty cool
@@amirtaktouk555 love this for them
@Amir Taktouk Aww. Imagine that, Alhaitham would rather let Kaveh hate him than hate himself.
"Who is right and who is wrong" I love that phrase coming from Alhaitham.
At university (I study teaching language and literature) it is common for teachers to constantly tell us "there are no right opinions or wrong opinions, only different points of view." Coming from him I love it for that, he is validating Kaveh's point of view while still standing firm to his own opinions, and it was what his grandmother told him he needed someone to let him see beyond what your logic allows.
Poor Kaveh, he blames himself for his father's passing, when it was likely an unforeseen accident.
I’m so sad I didn’t know abt this and chose the first way now… the second ending is adorable how Al haitham distracts kaveh and cheers him up in his own way 😭❤️
Same, I'm so sad I chose the "worst" ending 😭
I know it technically doesn't matter as it won't affect anything, but still...
I wish Mihoyo would stop missable stuff and multiple options in one-time events. Next time I guess I'll have to wait a few days until all the guides are up 😑
@@Drago-I-guess I don't think it's the worst. We are talking about a person, who almost died in a desert helping freaking desert foxes who lived there absolutely fine even without him. So I guess he should really think a bit and rearrange his priorities. By the way he failed at buying himself a house and still lives with Alhaitham, so in the end of the day - he will still give him emotional support.
I like the second option cause not only kaveh will less sad this way but this also gonna mend alhaitham and kaveh's relationship, both of them can find a family in each other
Good thing I am one of those diligent RPG type of player who do the side quest first before the main quest and didn't miss anything
i did the same yet i didnt get the dang thing im furious
damn. i hesitated before telling kaveh about his dad too. thank you uploading, i hope someone uploads the jp voiced version. i'm sad i missed it
I'm so mad!! I didn't think there would be multiple endings, I just wanted him to know the truth. I missed Al-Haitham and Kaveh dialogue, damn it.
My heart hurts thinking about how after 20 years he still blames himself, putting himself as the starting point of a butterfly effect that caused his dad's death. At least this event gave him some sort of closure. He got his kindness from his dad but too much kindness can be detrimental. Having Alhaitham as a stopper to it is 👏🏻 I giggled at him asking Kaveh to repeat thrice on the thanks 😂 you know they're best friends when the deadpan, serious Alhaitham acts cheeky
they say there’s a dialogue with Dori and Kaveh where she’s furious with Kaveh and then proceed to take all the mora Kaveh got from Cyno 😂
i’ve yet to find people who upload that on YT.
Do you mean when Dori talks to Traveler about the diadam??
You can watch it here (last part of the video, or check the timestamps in description):
ruclips.net/video/rvKwmnbiXKQ/видео.html
I upload that video yesterday...😁😁
Wait what!?
Even FOMO in event quest outcomes ? Sheesh. Glad to have these compilation style vids around .
i didn't need kaveh before this event, but this little ball of kindness touched me throughout the event and I am now a kaveh haver. My babygirl is safe and protected here! ♥
At the end of the day, the endings kinda result to the same thing and it won’t rlly matter which option you choose since it won’t have any affect on the characters long term :/ I wish mhy would give the characters more development
reading comments try justify choosing 1st option tells me alot people don't know how theraphy works differently for different people.
someone with self-loathing and depression will spiral down hard when hearing the truth from stranger( traveller, barely know kaveh and not close, awkward...this is a personal problem so Kaveh takes it VERY hard, cuz surprise! he get self-conscious when randoms know he staying at Alhaitham's house cause he's broke and in debt etc.)
2nd option definitely better cause if you aware how people are, Alhaitham as ex-bestfriend knows Kaveh's situation and very aware their friendship ended with Kaveh run away feeling wrong for being nice like his father; too kind that others take advantage of him. plus Alhaitham been letting kaveh to heal like c'mon, a roof to live under, even pay kaveh's tab at the tavern since he move in. nuff said they compliment each other like a mirror, idk how else to say Alhaitham is the best person breaking the news to Kaveh bout his father's situation
and i loathe these people "owh Alhaitham so toxic" please calm the fuk down. it not rocket science. he just comfortable being a junior to Kaveh, like kaveh mention Alhaitham have a personality, just he show to kaveh his cheeky side alot cuz they were best friends and BF usually will tease or try annoy eachother for fun.
also, don't blind yourself Alhaitham did become commenter to look into Kaveh's dad last moments. heck in video he confronts Sanchi's son off camera; have connection to Kaveh's dad sudden change and actively go to desert without sharing his worry with Kaveh and his mom.
so occupy being hateful you lose alot of braincells huh like deym
Ngl, I initially thought that Alhaitham’s relationship with Kaveh was a bit harsh. Sure, he lives in his house but why does he have to be so mean all the time? However, after finding out Kaveh’s story, their relationship seems more fitting. Alhaitham’s “infuriating” personality gives Kaveh a chance to think more selfishly about himself and takes his mind off of his charitable pursuits and trauma baggage. Alhaitham is probably doing this unintentionally as he always speaks his mind without care but I like to think he does it because he’s Kaveh’s friend too. I love this ship, platonic or romantic, it’s great.
I immediately get Kaveh and Al-Haitham's conversation without traveler first cuz I skipped the Dori's quest until the event is almost over.. Glad I did it cuz if I were to choose between the options I would choose to tell Kaveh myself about his father's situation.
the way alhaitham said 'one more time please', it's not often you hear that teasing tilt to his voice lol
Hah so I’d done half of Dori’s quests before this, guess it was enough, and I was told to choose not telling kaveh about the investigation, so i’m glad I was able to get the best ending! 😁
He fact that kaveh's voice sounds higher when talking to alhaitham comparing other characters including the traveler
As much as I like Kaveh for integrity sake I told him the cold harsh truth.
I feel bad for myself nor choosing the 2nd option. 😭
You're not the only one. God am I feeling bad to actually break the news
Same, I thought it was one of those times were one option would result in a few more lines of text at most, which you wouldn't get with the other option. So I picked what I assumed the "extra text option".
I wish they had hinted at Alhaitham planning to tell him, I would've held back in that case...
Kaveh and Alhaitham are THE BEST duo in genshin. No one will change my mind. And now both of them are home 💚
Congratulations
Man…now I feel kinda bad for telling him…but it just didn’t feel right to keep the truth for him, even if it hurt.
I’m pissed we didn’t have any options to comfort him; I wanted to tell him so much, like how his dad would have been proud of him and how judging by the way Sachin smiled before he faded away, he passed the test with flying colors, and Sachin was hoping Kaveh would do what he did-
Noooo they should’ve let us play this again so we can explore more endings and cutscenes 😭😭
I chose the first ending btw 🥹 didn’t know there are different endings for this 😭
Hey, thank you. I manged to choose the best ending for this story. Also, thank you for giving us the guide on those locations of the characters. Appreciate it.
When we reach Fontaine, I demand that we put Dori on trial.
I’m glad Kaveh gets to learn the truth no matter the path
I CHOSE THE FIRST OPTION WITHOUT REALIZING
My haikaveh main ass is extremely upset about this
NOOOO i feel so bad for picking the first option now..... justifying it to myself by imagining that alhaitham talked about it with kaveh afterwards anyway
im glad i got the secound ending, it really made me happy, i was surprised on how playfu al-haithem was in the ending
and al haithems smart right? you should have known breaking the news to kaveh in the first one would get him stuck in his head, but he did it in a way it wouldnt get stuck in kavehs head, and also witht he playfulness at the end making kaveh cheer up
although that just might be be being a huge kavethem shipper
Aw... now I'm upset. the third ending was more wholesome. (I got the first ending) shows why the two are friends despite being polar opposites. Despite Alhaitham sharing such depressing news, he knows how to help Kaveh cheer himself up using his own optimism.
Thank you so much for this video! I had no idea there were different endings
i did ending 1 😭 i hate that whenever we make the characters sad there’s nothing we can do about it. like ‘here’s the truth about your fathers death’ *leaves* TALK TO HIM?!!!
i am SO. UPSET. i cant even put it to words. WHYD I DO ENDING 1?!?!? ARGH IM SO MAD
Another Genshin boy added to the "I Blame Myself For My Father's Death" list.
the third ending is the one i got. I felt like the Traveler wasn't too close with Kaveh, and last time we saw him (in Alhaitham's story quest) Paimon tried to get mora off him. the lasting impression of that would make it harder to break the news. plus Alhaitham knows Kaveh as a person, him breaking the news made sense and it made things feel better (if you ask me)
I kind of don't like any of the endings in this event.
When you choose to tell him yourself he goes to self blaming mode. And event just ends. We don't know whether he will come out of it or not. Yes, it is good that he faces atleast one problem straight away but we kind of abandon him after such heavy punch.
When we don't do Dori's quest all of his fathers story simply becomes matter of fact kind of thing. It is treated as something miniscule.
Option three seems better but Alhaitham claims to be blunt person but he is never blunt with Kaveh. And not letting Kaveh self reflect on the matter isn't going to help him in the long run. Alhaitham tells him the news, he gets sad, Haitham distracts him and all the thoughts that should've been processed right away go to back of the head. At first it seems good, but considering that Kaveh willingly ignores and endures his pain till it will get better, chances are high that he will never face this issue head on either. After all he gave similiar advice to Layla too.
And with this news he could undrstand that it wasn't just Sachin's research that lead to his father's demise but also both his father's and his way of thinking.
I don't want players, especially the younger ones, to come out of this story quest with the idea of self blaming themselves or ignoring their problems as solution for the issues they are facing. It is better to construct good support system.
And yes we all face what Sachin faced with his research but nihilism won't be the solution, and making smaller goals that matter for your own life matter more than some grandious world changing idealogies.
I'm happy that i chose the 2nd Ending my kavetham heart is so happy
His sadness especially in the first one kills me
Theres more ending than the haitham and kaveh talking one??? Tf. Tbh i wish there was only that ending, because this small conversation helped shape their relationship better outside of their annoying bickering.
Alhaitham would get really lonely if Kaveh digs an early grave, and Kaveh would dig an early grave if Alhaitham is not around.
I wish we didn’t have such a sad moment when we tell him. I definitely didn’t want to hide it.
Its just sad new players will never see this outside of the internet. *Sigh*
Yeah missing the whole event is way worse than choosing to tell Kaveh truth (missing cutscene)...
IKR?
In a way. kaveh's dad death might have stopped kaveh from ending up the same way.
his father death and his own suffering from guilt have lead him to reject the offer in the first place and without these he might have follow his father and sachin attempt in the desert.
tho nahida and hat guy could watch over kaveh as he continue sachin's research they can't watch him 24/7 and knowing how similar he is to his father he would risk his life in the desert and later die. also, since he is similar to sachin even if kaveh did survive the desert he could still become depress to the point of neglecting his own family and then commit suicide 😢
poor boy, i wanna give him a hug
Step 1: Laughing at the way Alhaitham teases Kaveh
Step 2: The harrowing realization, like a cold bucket of water being thrown on you, that Alhaitham is teasing Kaveh so that Kaveh stops thinking about his guilt and doesn't believe himself to be the one to have caused his father's death.
Guys in my opinion we should let Alhaitham to break the news...I mean who we are to just break the news, while they kniw each other for YEARS
I didn't even notice dori had another quest
Welp
Kavehs story is so sad. And right now as well too.
Thanks to one reddit post, I was able to know there are different endings. I eventually pursued to get option 3, with Alhaitham saying it. Seems better this way
I’m so glad I got ending 3, it fills my Haikaveh heart 🥺
Yeah yeah Kaveh sad.. this that... but can we talk about how cute alhaitham was ? ..
Don't forget to go see Dori back for a special custscene with her
Honestly, considering you can't replay the game (unless you start a whole new account) I don't like that you can get such different endings. It stresses me out.
Now I really regret that I completed Dory's quest, I saw such an upset Kaveh :(
Same 😭
I headcanon that Alhaitham still talked to him later (after we left), but I still feel horrible. Like I failed Kaveh by picking the "bad" option...
got the second ending cause i didn't think the quest was important and was saving it for post event quest
that's what happens when you, 1 don't read the dialogue, and 2, don't have plot significant quests voice acted. if it's not voiced, i don't care
yesss i got the 3rd ending with Kaveh and Kaveh + Al Haitham talk !!!! i'm so happy, plus, KAveh looks better after the teasing from Al Haitham so i'm glad ! It was a very good Event
Hehe luckily i got ed 3 because i didn't want to upset kaveh after telling him the truth. I'm quite surprised because there are two more eds, for me ed3 is probably the best ed 😊😊
Alhaitham teasing Kaveh 🥺 I wanted to go that route but got the first 😭
Honestly watching this kinda reminds me of traveler not telling Nahida that Rukkhadevata existed. I always feel it's better to tell people the truth straight up even if it's painful, so that always bugged me that they didn't let you chose. Naturally when they finally give you the choice, I chose to tell Kaveh what happened.
No but the whole point of rukkhadavata erasing herself from irminsul was so that she would be forgotten and forbidden wisdom dispelled. The traveler telling nahida that she existed defies the point of her sacrifice
@mike taya idk tbh. I'm mostly curious what would even happen tbh. 🤔
@@kairi4640 yeah but I guess it’s more simpler, and if you think about it, you aren’t telling them the truth bc technically rukkhadavata never existed
Is this (pseudo) multiple ending a new thing?
If I knew I would do option 3. In the end Kaveh always get the news but the emotional outcome changes. Writing for Alhaitham is hella smart.
SO GLAD I SAW THIS BEFORE FINISHING DORI'S QUEST. Now I know to choose option 1 once I finish and get the best ending
I always wait until the last minute to do things, especially in gsnshin - now I can't get the perfect ending 3 😭😭
WAHHHHH IM SO SAD I NEVER KNEW THERE WAS 3 KINDS OF ENDINGS (I got the first one ;-;) I WAS LOOKING FOR THE ALHAITHAM AND KAVEH ENDING BUT I MESSED UP IG
I didnt even know there was more then one option bc I completely forgot about dori's quest
