Call me crazy but I really didn't expect Alhaitham in Kaveh's hangout except when they mention his name. I actually like how Kaveh *wanted* Alhaitham to come to the dinner, especially with how earlier he felt sad and this talk of companionship. Also didn't expect Kaveh and Alhaitham to act like dads or maybe uncles towards Collei. I like how here Alhaitham says it's too late for Kaveh to change careers and although it is indeed reckless Kaveh actually attempts it in this hangout which kinda proves Alhaitham wrong even if it didn't work out. Also screamed when Alhaitham was in the house of Daena even though i joked about that before. First of all I find it interesting that Kaveh uses a very complex and colourful language compared to Alhaitham despite Alhaitham being the Haravatat major. Second it's interesting what Alhaitham says to us behind Kaveh's back, it's good advice that Alhaitham should've said to Kaveh's face. Maybe he doesn't think Kaveh can accept it because he thinks Kaveh can never understand his perspective so Alhaitham mirrors Kaveh through bickering to either calm Kaveh from his depression or subtly make Kaveh realise something in a way Kaveh would understand as Kaveh argues a lot. I think after this hang out a part of why Kaveh and Alhaitham argue at least from Kaveh's viewpoint is that Alhaitham is so confident on his rational analysis of a solution being the right most logical one that he isn't open to seeing other solutions from others perspectives especially irrational out of the box ones. Kaveh can be a good negotiator as seen with the other clients here and Kaveh mentions how he's given reasons why he thinks his idealism is a good belief even if it's flawed but Alhaitham is so ridged in his belief that opposed to idealism that maybe he doesn't give it chance. I also love how Alhaitham breaks the 4th wall here. Throughout this hangout the hearts actually represent Kaveh's mood and go up and down based off it. It's unique for a vn style as most vn's use filling the hearts as bonding or getting closer with someone, even in Genshin. But filling Kaveh's hearts just means he's happier. When Kaveh reads a comment and his heart goes up Alhaitham points out Kaveh is feeling better. I liked this detail for the 4th wall break but also that Alhaitham can tell how Kaveh feels especially when he's sad and i think deep down doesn't want to see him like that. P.s as someone who handled textbooks for a part of my life, the idea of anyone annotating the library textbooks is such a dumb idea.

I think the main reason why Alhaitham told us all of this in the library about Kaveh and his advice is because he knew that Kaveh wouldn't take it if it came from him. There's also this pride that stops Kaveh from listening to a junior because he feels like it's his responsibility to be as a senior to be a role model for Alhaitham. Kaveh wouldn't accept an advice from his junior despite being some good and valuable advice and even less if it came from Alhaitham, since Alhaitham doesn't really deliver enough compassion and empathy to get through Kaveh. Kaveh only resonates and lives according to his emotions while Alhaitham only communicates with common sense and logic. Trying to get Kaveh to listen to you would only be successful if the advisor shows adequate emotions and care for others as Kaveh does, which is not who Alhaitham is. Perhaps Alhaitham told the Traveller all of this hoping that Kaveh would listen to his advice through the Traveller?

Your reason is a good one and I didn't think of that but I can definitely understand Kaveh's pride and responsibility as a senior getting in the way of accepting advice. Not only does he do this with Tighnari but I noticed he's the "do as I say and not what I do" type of person, like he gives out advice but never does his own advice, example being when he tells us not to start drinking alcohol for health reasons (which btw I think he's the only character to say that to us) even though his fave food is alcohol and drinks all the time. Now that I think about it is kinda true that Kaveh needs to see that you have emotion/empathy in order for him to not argue with you examples of this are Layla, and the main client at the beginning of this hangout. Even when Alhaitham shows some emotion I don't think Kaveh would believe it which adds to their bickering. This is a good reason as to why Alhaitham didn't tell it to Kaveh's face, the man's smart enough to figure this out otherwise he'd have no reason in telling us such. I like the idea that like how Kaeya was happy that we are a friend to Diluc who distrusts like everyone, Alhaitham maybe is happy that Kaveh finally has a friend that Kaveh could feel close with to share stuff he couldn't with his other peers. I like to think this will be explored in the future where Alhaitham tells more of his true feelings and advice to the traveller and we have to tell Kaveh in Kaveh language. You're analysis definitely made me see a lot of myself in Kaveh as I was once a senior to my peers at the Akademiya and I do feel like I have a huge responsibility to force myself to be better as a role model for them to almost an unhealthy level because it meant I couldn't be a student as well or make mistakes. Also I had a friend who was very logical even in their advice but I would feel frustrated/hurt if they didn't have a tone of empathy/compassion which made it less likely I'd follow the advice. I just relate to Kaveh a lot, from his backstory to his personality to his complicated relationship with Alhaitham, so I talk about him a lot lately. Plus he's like a father figure to me and one of my current comfort characters ^w^
I think it's cute that Al-Haitham would use his "master plan" strategy to encourage Kaveh to feel more spirited and confident about himself than ever without pushing Kaveh down to depression. Al-Haitham definitely knows how to keep Kaveh's spirits up when he's miserable.Though I feel like he could have told him about his feelings to Kaveh's face, but as you mentioned earlier, Kaveh wouldn't believe a single sympathy and compassion from Al-Haitham and is cynical to Al-Haitham's character -- he's always thinking the worst of him. Additionally, l have let to believe Kaveh is not ready to accept Al-Haitham's genuine kindness and compliments due to his guilt- conscience. Kaveh's is fully aware of his roommate's support but probably doesn't have that courage to tell him to his face.
@@TravellerZasha I relate to both Alhaitham and Kaveh a lot which makes me have quite the personality 😂. I can be overly logical at times and overly creative and idealistic in other times. I have this need to be logical in the aspects of life but when I execute a logical plan, I use my creative and unrealistic ways which is not the best. Personally, I see myself in both Alhaitham and Kaveh so it's always so interesting to learn more about them. Although I still see Alhaitham as a comfort character (crazy, right?) And I see Kaveh as myself and the character I need to bring comfort to because he's so like me and I wish I was more like Alhaitham! I am just like you, I rarely ask for help and have to endure the role of role model (although for me it's because I am the eldest daughter of my family) but the intention is the same + adding to that the fact that I'm the only artistic person in my family is making me feel even closer to Kaveh. I'm so happy Kaveh can be a comfort character to you!! I can't wait to see more interactions between them and even the relationship development, they used to be best friends, I hope they grow closer again 🥺

Alhaitham is the one keeping him grounded and injects the reality to him to keep him sane.

It's interesting to me that professionally, Kaveh's area is Doing (like, constructing things) and Alhaitham's is Words (Haravatat, scribe). But when it comes to each other, Alhaitham seems to ultimately be an Acts of Service person (letting Kaveh stay with him, taking him out shopping, watching out for him, doing things/going to things he normally wouldn't) whereas Kaveh really wants Words of Affirmation (unfortunately, for obvious reasons lol)

i recently just read all of kaveh's stories 1-5 on his profile and i think it is a huge part in understanding alhaitham and kaveh. in the fifth story, which i believe has the most significance in understanding both, it explains how kaveh just can't say no to people and takes on many burdens of other people, despite him getting nothing in return. obviously alhaitham believes the exact opposite and during their argument, which would cause their falling apart, the story says "Alhaitham had seen through the reality that he had never been able to face, causing him to feel reality's bite for the first time, a feeling that made Kaveh steadfastly declare that he regretted making friends with this all-too-intelligent person" and this is the best argument i can use to show how alhaitham *truly* cares about kaveh because he didn't want to let him go, even with all their differences. all his stories show how alhaitham isn't just someone he bickers with and constantly fights, but that they both care about each other and just show it in ways that might not be obvious to the others. another thing that i believe to be true is how alhaitham cares for kaveh. he says things that are thought to be rude and hurtful, like when he says, "you think i would derive amusement from watching you fall into depression over your life's troubles? if that's the case, then i suppose i must have been entertaining myself for years." but i believe alhaitham says this to somewhat check up on kaveh or to tell him that he isnt doing well, but he tries to hide the actual meaning in teasing comments, just might not know how to express those thoughts, he believes that kaveh might not believe him if he says his true thoughts, or he is just shy and wants to cover it up with a cold facade. kaveh has so much guilt about giving people his opinion and encouraging them to do a certain thing, only for it to end up horrible, like the palace of alcazarzaray and when his father joined the competition in the desert, that all he can do it take the burden everyone is carrying for himself to "pay" it off. i think alhaitham realized this after kaveh told alhaitham everything about his life when he got drunk (in story 5) and that he always has cared for kaveh and wants him to be okay.

Kaveh has his talents, and memorization of text, no matter how obscure it is, is one of them. However.... Alhaitham knew Kaveh had annotated those books. Call me crazy but I really didn't expect Alhaitham in Kaveh's hangout except when they mention his name. I actually like how Kaveh *wanted* Alhaitham to come to the dinner, especially with how earlier he felt sad and this talk of companionship. Also didn't expect Kaveh and Alhaitham to act like dads or maybe uncles towards Collei. I like how here Alhaitham says it's too late for Kaveh to change careers and although it is indeed reckless Kaveh actually attempts it in this hangout which kinda proves Alhaitham wrong even if it didn't work out.
Also screamed when Alhaitham was in the house of Daena even though i joked about that before. First of all I find it interesting that Kaveh uses a very complex and colourful language compared to Alhaitham despite Alhaitham being the Haravatat major. Second it's interesting what Alhaitham says to us behind Kaveh's back, it's good advice that Alhaitham should've said to Kaveh's face. Maybe he doesn't think Kaveh can accept it because he thinks Kaveh can never understand his perspective so Alhaitham mirrors Kaveh through bickering to either calm Kaveh from his depression or subtly make Kaveh realise something in a way Kaveh would understand as Kaveh argues a lot. I think after this hang out a part of why Kaveh and Alhaitham argue at least from Kaveh's viewpoint is that Alhaitham is so confident on his rational analysis of a solution being the right most logical one that he isn't open to seeing other solutions from others perspectives especially irrational out of the box ones. Kaveh can be a good negotiator as seen with the other clients here and Kaveh mentions how he's given reasons why he thinks his idealism is a good belief even if it's flawed but Alhaitham is so ridged in his belief that opposed to idealism that maybe he doesn't give it chance.
I also love how Alhaitham breaks the 4th wall here. Throughout this hangout the hearts actually represent Kaveh's mood and go up and down based off it. It's unique for a vn style as most vn's use filling the hearts as bonding or getting closer with someone, even in Genshin. But filling Kaveh's hearts just means he's happier. When Kaveh reads a comment and his heart goes up Alhaitham points out Kaveh is feeling better. I liked this detail for the 4th wall break but also that Alhaitham can tell how Kaveh feels especially when he's sad and i think deep down doesn't want to see him like that.
P.s as someone who handled textbooks for a part of my life, the idea of anyone annotating the library textbooks is such a dumb idea.

I love your analysis ❤ and I agree about Alhaitham.
I think the main reason why Alhaitham told us all of this in the library about Kaveh and his advice is because he knew that Kaveh wouldn't take it if it came from him.
There's also this pride that stops Kaveh from listening to a junior because he feels like it's his responsibility to be as a senior to be a role model for Alhaitham. Kaveh wouldn't accept an advice from his junior despite being some good and valuable advice and even less if it came from Alhaitham, since Alhaitham doesn't really deliver enough compassion and empathy to get through Kaveh.
Kaveh only resonates and lives according to his emotions while Alhaitham only communicates with common sense and logic. Trying to get Kaveh to listen to you would only be successful if the advisor shows adequate emotions and care for others as Kaveh does, which is not who Alhaitham is.
Perhaps Alhaitham told the Traveller all of this hoping that Kaveh would listen to his advice through the Traveller?

Your reason is a good one and I didn't think of that but I can definitely understand Kaveh's pride and responsibility as a senior getting in the way of accepting advice. Not only does he do this with Tighnari but I noticed he's the "do as I say and not what I do" type of person, like he gives out advice but never does his own advice, example being when he tells us not to start drinking alcohol for health reasons (which btw I think he's the only character to say that to us) even though his fave food is alcohol and drinks all the time.
Now that I think about it is kinda true that Kaveh needs to see that you have emotion/empathy in order for him to not argue with you examples of this are Layla, and the main client at the beginning of this hangout. Even when Alhaitham shows some emotion I don't think Kaveh would believe it which adds to their bickering. This is a good reason as to why Alhaitham didn't tell it to Kaveh's face, the man's smart enough to figure this out otherwise he'd have no reason in telling us such.
I like the idea that like how Kaeya was happy that we are a friend to Diluc who distrusts like everyone, Alhaitham maybe is happy that Kaveh finally has a friend that Kaveh could feel close with to share stuff he couldn't with his other peers. I like to think this will be explored in the future where Alhaitham tells more of his true feelings and advice to the traveller and we have to tell Kaveh in Kaveh language.
You're analysis definitely made me see a lot of myself in Kaveh as I was once a senior to my peers at the Akademiya and I do feel like I have a huge responsibility to force myself to be better as a role model for them to almost an unhealthy level because it meant I couldn't be a student as well or make mistakes. Also I had a friend who was very logical even in their advice but I would feel frustrated/hurt if they didn't have a tone of empathy/compassion which made it less likely I'd follow the advice. I just relate to Kaveh a lot, from his backstory to his personality to his complicated relationship with Alhaitham, so I talk about him a lot lately. Plus he's like a father figure to me and one of my current comfort characters ^w^
I think it's cute that Al-Haitham would use his "master plan" strategy to encourage Kaveh to feel more spirited and confident about himself than ever without pushing Kaveh down to depression. Al-Haitham definitely knows how to keep Kaveh's spirits up when he's miserable.Though I feel like he could have told him about his feelings to Kaveh's face, but as you mentioned earlier, Kaveh wouldn't believe a single sympathy and compassion from Al-Haitham and is cynical to Al-Haitham's character -- he's always thinking the worst of him. Additionally, l have let to believe Kaveh is not ready to accept Al-Haitham's genuine kindness and compliments due to his guilt- conscience. Kaveh's is fully aware of his roommate's support but probably doesn't have that courage to tell him to his face.

I have this need to be logical in the aspects of life but when I execute a logical plan, I use my creative and unrealistic ways which is not the best.
Personally, I see myself in both Alhaitham and Kaveh so it's always so interesting to learn more about them. Although I still see Alhaitham as a comfort character (crazy, right?) And I see Kaveh as myself and the character I need to bring comfort to because he's so like me and I wish I was more like Alhaitham!

i recently just read all of kaveh's stories 1-5 on his profile and i think it is a huge part in understanding alhaitham and kaveh. in the fifth story, which i believe has the most significance in understanding both, it explains how kaveh just can't say no to people and takes on many burdens of other people, despite him getting nothing in return. obviously alhaitham believes the exact opposite and during their argument, which would cause their falling apart, the story says "Alhaitham had seen through the reality that he had never been able to face, causing him to feel reality's bite for the first time, a feeling that made Kaveh steadfastly declare that he regretted making friends with this all-too-intelligent person" and this is the best argument i can use to show how alhaitham *truly* cares about kaveh because he didn't want to let him go, even with all their differences. all his stories show how alhaitham isn't just someone he bickers with and constantly fights, but that they both care about each other and just show it in ways that might not be obvious to the others.
another thing that i believe to be true is how alhaitham cares for kaveh. he says things that are thought to be rude and hurtful, like when he says, "you think i would derive amusement from watching you fall into depression over your life's troubles? if that's the case, then i suppose i must have been entertaining myself for years." but i believe alhaitham says this to somewhat check up on kaveh or to tell him that he isnt doing well, but he tries to hide the actual meaning in teasing comments, just might not know how to express those thoughts, he believes that kaveh might not believe him if he says his true thoughts, or he is just shy and wants to cover it up with a cold facade.
kaveh has so much guilt about giving people his opinion and encouraging them to do a certain thing, only for it to end up horrible, like the palace of alcazarzaray and when his father joined the competition in the desert, that all he can do it take the burden everyone is carrying for himself to "pay" it off. i think alhaitham realized this after kaveh told alhaitham everything about his life when he got drunk (in story 5) and that he always has cared for kaveh and wants him to be okay.

1. when you log into the game, click on the character icon.
2. Click any character you have.
3. on the left side of the screen, you'll see "attributes", "weapons", "artifacts", "constellation", "talents" and "profile". click on the "profile" option.
4. In the "profile" section, on the bottom right, you'll see "story" and "voice-over". Click on "story" to know more about the character's backstory.
5. "Voice-over" option also has more info about the character.
