After 9000rpm, the power falls off drastically.. After 9500 the engine is STRUGGLING to get to 10,000. Cool it can over rev for racing situations where you wont want to shift up gear and rev out the engine a lil bit before a corner or something.
yohannes kurniawan it's a piston engine not a rotary so it can't make the most power at the limiter they call it a 11k rpm because it probably can survive a miss shift till 11k rpm

I use to hate Hondas but it wasn't until recently when my car was totaled that I got a $800 1998 Honda civic dx. And I gotta say my whole opinion on them changed drastically.. Even tho it only has 106 HP and its stock and lacks a rpm tachometer. I've never had such fun with a car downshifting and letting the engine climb the rpms as I go. I intend on engine swapping it one day and just having as much fun with it as I can in the hills. (180,000+ miles)

回せば速くなるって訳じゃ無いと思うけど…高回転型のエンジンはトルクが無いし。シビックは排気量が小さいからトルク重視にするより回した方が速いのかな…?
55 celica 高回転までトルクがきちんと発生するようにさえすれば、回せば回すほど、大きい軸トルクを発生できる低速ギヤを使う時間が長くなる分物理的に速くなりますよ。
