For a hotel within the airport, it looks quite nice! I agree with you that it comes in handy for early departures, late arrivals, or even long layovers due to the departure gate being that close. Also, hooray for the first Topher Scale review! It's great to see the Topher Scale in action!
+Scottman895 Travel Probably the best "in airport" hotel that I've stayed in... More Topher Scale reviews coming up.. and I've got a slightly different animation for each level... 4 tophers, 4.5, 5 tophers, etc :)
Thanks for this Struggled with my flights from Australia to japan back in 2019. If I do it again, I think I'll stay here rather than trying to also catch a train after a long flights
This was informative and I’m so glad you covered how to get there. I’ve been having difficulty finding a transit hotel within the airport and although this is technically not inside the airport as it will require me to go out of immigration, it’s still technically convenient as I have an 7 hours layover and have a late night flight to Singapore.
+jaymeez Hi Jaymeez -- interesting question They are North Face pants -- unfortunately they don't sell this particular style any more. I have similar Khaki cargo pants from Columbia... and I recently also picked up a similar pair from Gander Mountain.
Thanks for your reply, I'm going to start backpacking this year and hope to do so for 4-6 weeks annually going forward & I really appreciate your videos man. I'm gonna copy you on those pants if you don't mind 🙂 They look perfect for backpacking
I have a question I like to ask. As I will be arriving at 1am, plan to get at least 8hours of sleep and intend to check out on the same day, do you think I should book the hotel for the previous night as well and check in on arrival at 1am or is it not worth it?
Do you have to go through immigration or security? Or do you go directly from your flight to the hotel and then back to the terminal? How much time should you allow to your next flight?
What brand of pants are you wearing? They look comfortable and look like good pants to travel in. Please do a review of them and where they can be found or just respond to my message with the info, thanks!
Can not figure out since you said that early departure passengers can access the hotel at the departure side and layover passengers or late incoming flights passengers can access it at airside? Without any visa for those with layovers? There were blogs some years ago about passenger some passengers sleeping on benches or the airpott floor. Some immigration officer sometimes they say stamp a one day visa so you could go to a hotel nearby and come back next morning for the continuing flight. Overall the blog was quite informative for any traveler to Tokyo!
Hi Victorio -- Yes. The hotel has 2 entrances. One that is in the ticketing area. So that's in "Japan" and another entrance airside. That's the transit hotel and you don't need any visa for that.
Hey Chris! Can the hotel be accessed from the other terminals? I'm will be on a 15 hour layover from a flight heading to Hawaii in two weeks. BTW great video!
Hi Martin, I dont think it had an airside entrance from the other terminals. Only from Terminal 3. So if your connection takes you through terminal 3 you are good to go. Or if you are already "in Japan" you can access the hotel land side from the ticketing area of terminal 3.
@@GurleenKaur-jg5ml if you have visa free entry you don't need a visa but you need a covid test or vaccine cert with 3 doses. The transit hotel is open though and I was able to book a room. It's usually pretty full so check now

+Angela Boers it was about $180USD for the room in this video
Do you have to go back through security?
I "think" the hotel has two parts. This part is the part "outside" of security in the Ticketing area. I think there is a transit side too
