Over the past few months reports have emerged that the BRICS are now more actively moving along plans for a gold-backed settlement currency called 'The Unit.'
Which has the potential to impact the current monetary regime if implemented as proposed.

The U.S. should abolish the FED and back their new dollar with gold/ commodities.
In 1934, when gold was repriced to $35, US M2 stood at $40bn. So roughly $1 gold value for every $1bn of M2. With M2 now at $21 trillion, gold at $21,000 does not seem too outlandish.

Mbridge is just the name of the private ledger that directly connects to the XRPL. To put it simply, mbridge is just a layer 2 of the XRPL

when you read the white paper you realise how much this is directly targeted at removing the USD and never replacing it with another national currency. The Unit solves so many flaws with the present system, when you read this you realise, this is the future
