Those box sets are to die for... I have got the one for Casablanca... I love watching everyone just watching horror movies this month, while I celebrate "Watch Whatever I Feel Like" month. Watched the original To Be Or Not To Be tonight... lol
Welcome to Collinwood is a seriously overlooked little gem. Saw it when it came out and dear god did it make me laugh. Probably one of the last proper comedy I saw in cinema. Great comedies are few and far between these days.
Hi. For me it’s one I have seen before but don’t remember, but with Rockwell and Macy in it, I look forward to a rewatch….Yes it’s not often now that a comedy will really make me laugh
@@neilsmoviechannel3199 Hey Neil. Rockwell and Macy are always stellar and are so good in this , actually, everyone in this movie are brilliant. But in my honest opinion, it's Michael Jeter that completely steals the show....wholesale. and the third act is a chef's kiss. ps. I just learned that this is a remake of a 1958 Italian movie called Big Deal on Madonna Street.. Great channel you got here Neil.
@@gudmundursturluson7683 Thanks for that, I hadn’t appreciated it was a remake. I will check out Big Deal on Madonna Street on Criterion Channel. Thanks for the kind words
Hi! Thanks for watching. Yes, particularly pleased to have the Ben Hur one, a really nice set which includes the 1925 version also. Not sure I’ll be playing the music box too often but I do still like The Sound of Music, a movie that was on every Christmas when I was younger
Hi Neil, Great haul again. Of these I have seen By Dawn's Early Light, Her, Talk To Her and The Sixth Sense. I liked your Cary Grant set and the box sets of Ben-Hur and The Sound of Music. Nice books too. You even got a music box! Have a happy weekend too.
Nice grabs as always there matey.. I used to have that 101 horror movies to see before you die book.. some really good recommendations in there across the years 😎👍
Thanks, Marcus. No doubt you have likely seen all the films referenced. I know I don’t talk about horror movies much but I enjoy many of the ones mentioned
André Morell looked perfectly cast as a Roman in Ben-Hur. His screen presence was always in a position of authority. Cash on Demand and Quatermass. Strangely enough Morell starred in another Roman epic of the small screen kind in The Caesars for Granada. Maybe Philip Mackie the writer of The Caesars saw Ben-Hur and instantly cast Morell in the Granada tv series as Tiberius. A much better DVD box set of Ben-Hur than what the UK market got back in the day. Quite flashy in fact....
Thanks for watching Stuart. Yes, the Ben Hur set is great. Not too sure how often I’ll be using the Sound of Music music box but I thought it would bring back special memories for you as I know how fond of it you are 😁Have a good weekend
Great pick ups as always, Neil 🍻
Thanks, Mike. Have a good weekend

Thanks, Erik. With all the horror going on I’ll be lucky if many watch my stuff. A whatever you feel like month sounds fine to me

Nice Cary Grant set. Love Her & Lake Placid. Cool pickups!
@@mirandasmoviemadness Thanks, Miranda. I’m not familiar with any of these early Grant roles but they should be interesting. Have a good weekend
A couple of nice editions there Neil. I particularly like that Ben Hur set.
Thanks Jamie. Yes, it’s boxy but crammed with goodies and includes the 1925 version. A nice set. Have a good weekend

Thanks. André Morell was great. I have the tv recording of Quatermass and the Pit. Very good production
I do like that Ben Hur set awesome!!
Thanks, D. It’s a great set and also comes with the 1925 version. The chariot race sequence is one of the most amazing scenes in cinema history
I always did like Payback with Mel Gibson
Yes, not sure how different this directors cut is, will see. Have a good weekend
See you in November then lol 😅
